Superb from both. If there’s not already been one, can someone interview Dan and ask him about where his love of darts came from and how he’s ended up where he has. As he is top rank at what he does and his love of the game shines through.

My favourite dart player. Even took his coaching course. Lovely guy. Feel awful about his decline. 2015 to 2020 he was definitely top 5 in the world

    Seems like a top bloke.
Some of the comments are ridiculous - very quick decline but he’s achieved more than 99.9% of people who have ever picked up a dart.

This is a really good interview and good to hear Glens own words.
I rember how much stick Glen would get when he went to the PDC about how he wouldn't do very well. Time after time Glen continued to prove the haters wrong.
I would have loved your PDC career to have been longer but it was so enjoyable to see you absolutely smash it in such a short space of time.
    Absolute legend.

Glen is a top bloke, great interview with some great questions.
I was a good pub league player, I managed to get to the local top league. Just before this I was playing in div 2 and winning every game I played, this was on the double board so there was no trebles at all. I finished the season with the 2nd most maximums out of all leagues put together.
Then came the individual knockout which had the best pub/club players every player I played was in a higher division, some played superleague and 1 played county, I manged to get to the semi finals then played the best player in the City for the past 15 years, I was on stage and he beat me 3-0 , that night there I thought Ive made it to the top of where i could play.
The next season I played in the top division and couldnt hit a barn door, I lost my throw and confidence, after 2 seasons I stopped playing as my game wasnt good anymore.
Im still proud where how far I got in that competition with the players I beat and i was getting respect from the other players, would I change it to still be playing now, honestly i dont think i would. That 10 months of darts I felt invincible and wasnt scared to play anyone.

I hear great things about Glen from those who have dealt with him. I will say I think he is a prime example of why coaching isn't for everyone. I think darts coaching can be great for some but once certain people start tinkering it can destroy them. I think Glen analysed too many things too soon. Some need to just not think and just throw. Coaching in darts, for pros, just makes me feel a little anxious.

He was in the top 4 early 2020, all was well until the lockdown.
Did he spend lockdown over analysing his throw ?
He got covid after winning the premier league had a few weeks off and was never the same again.
Never seen it happen so fast to a player
His throw / technique always looked a bit hard work but he'd managed with it for years.
    Must have been physiological?
    So sad .
Shame he didnt ask for help , pick up the phone to a Taylor / Mardle , im sure they'd have helped ?
One thing about him was that he seemed so mentally strong at his peak .
Strange / sad story. Wish him well.

When you look at his PDC record in majors, it was outstanding, and stil better than most players to have played in the PDC. And people never thought he would make it in the PDC, he certainly did. For the time he was in the PDC, his record is unmatched other than Taylor

Such a shame he didn't have a longer stint in the PDC he was a great asset and i was in shock how his game came crashing down so dramatically after doing so well so quickly in the PDC and winning the premier league. At least he can take the positives from it all. Great guy great player.
