Long Exposure photography, Waterfalls, Nature & Wildlife and Landscape Photography.
What a photography hike this turned out to be! I came away with much more confidence taking photographs of waterfalls AND I met a beautiful wild deer in nature who came to visit me whilst I was exploring some stunning waterfalls in the Brecon Beacons, Wales. I really wanted to improve my ability to 'see' waterfall compositions because I find framing waterfall long exposures a challenge. Similar to woodland photography, there is just sometimes too much going on and I certainly fell into my own trap during this video where I took an image that just didn't work. This is how you grow and develop as a photographer! Learning and trying new things should be fun, exciting and challenging! I also try my new NISI SWIFT ND (Neutral Density) filters and put them to the test in Waterfall country in Wales.

Nice vlog. Waterfalls are amazing I must say. I personally like to get right in and pick out faces in the water and rocks by changing shutter speed etc. It's amazing what you can come away with when you look really closely. Nice poem as always..
That's a good idea 💡 I also enjoy zooming in closer to the landscape because I feel that it offers a new perspective and something a bit different
Awesome work in a stunning location the best things my dad ever gave to me were a love of the outdoors and a life long passion for photography I passed these onto my kids and now passing on to my grandkids. Keep at it enjoyed your video

Awesome waterfalls, we don't have them here in The Netherlands not on a scale like these in this video. Would love to try the Nissi swift system, but I can't afford that right now.

Nice photos. It is wonderful to get out, walk, look, listen, snap a picture of whatever suits your fancy. Enjoy the kid, they grow incredibly fast.
Thank you, I will he's very well behaved and am thankful. I'm able to do more now he's getting bigger too. Landscape photography has been my saving grace, such a great hobby to decompress
Genuinely stunning images, beautiful tones and colours. Wonderful advice too, time is precious and a privilege these days, don't waste it if you have it, it seems to all too easily slip through our fingers. And the deer......what a gift, that's magic right there. 🙏

Lovely video! I home educate and my kids come with me on my adventures and I was out when they were tiny, but it's so, so much easier now they're a bit older. This window is short, and you'll have more freedom again! I'm sure you know that but just a message from another mother from a little further down the road. If it's any help I hiked wtih my kids on my back for years, do you have a sling consultant near you? Happy to discuss it, babywearing honestly changed my life!
Thank you!! Ohh that's good to hear, yes I am loving every minute too, it hasn't changed me and my perspective of risk alot. I'll give that a try next, I suffer with back problems at the moment and have just bought a second hand out and about buggy so hopefully that can enable me to get out with him more. I took it off roading last week and it's a fab buggy! 🏎️ I'll check out baby wearing too 👍
Life is always a balance, with a little baby boy must be a bit more challenge. You done lovely images, thanks for sharing them. OMD/Olympus camera has built in ND. With that and ICM, you can make some lovely images. Take care, see u next time.
