This weeks video I visit the beautiful location of Anglesey in Wales and try out the NISI SWIFT ND (Neutral Density) Filters. I wanted to try long exposures again as it's been a while since I took any long exposure images and wanted to improve on my coastal compositions. I do find the faff of changing filters and caring around lots of kit a bit of a mission so streamlining my system with this set up has definitely helped me slow down and have more time on location thinking about the photograph rather than sorting filter systems. During this video I also visited one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen in a place called Newborough forest. Sadly I couldn't take many photos as the wind was strong and I had my son with me so had to leave the walk early, I hope to return and explore this area again in a bit more detail as it was truly a magnificent place to explore and there are images to be had everywhere.

It was a cool effect, it came out not feeling so confident sooting into the sun and thought I'd focus on the ground and the light. Cheers for watching 👍

Superb photography Suzannah, the light is sublime. These square format image of the shoreline towards the end of video is just so beautiful, so hard to get this format right, you nailed it here. 🙏🏻
Oh thanks, very kind of you. I definitely think alot of work happens in lightroom. I sometimes feel like I am rushed on location and am never sure I've got what I wanted, it's only until I edit do I see more with cropping. Cheers for watching 👍

Ah thanks, it's easy to get pulled into the comparing your work to others and follow the typical route but it's important to be true to yourself and what your think is a composition. great images, I love using filters, magnetic is definitely the way to go. I have started using some rectangular grad filters which require a holder, I found the kase armour system excellent for these as they offer a magnetic attachment for the 100mm filter holder.

Been using nisi for a few years now , a quick question are there any vignetting with the new swift systen on wide angle lens i.e 14/30 24/70 ?? so looking at the 82 m set. lovely vlog by the way..
