If you have a 5 door, you can also fit switches to the rear doors too. Just add another wire for each switch. You can join them all to the same place as I did in the video. The holes for the switches in the rear are different, but I’m told that Toyota Corolla door switches fit.
Just bought another 107 and found this channel, man you crack me up with the commentary lol gonna binge watch them all maybe all of us can have a big meet up to show off 2/4 door lighting lol keep doing em
Did this on my daughters Aygo a few years ago. She had a four door, but the holes to fit were in place as you have found. Just daisy chained them back to the drivers door. For that added bit of luxury, I bought a courtesy light delay so the light stayed on for a few seconds. Just enough time to get your belt on and start the car.

It amazes me all the time that there are no limits to your technological, automotive, informative expertees in relation to the shitter upgrades........i am at a loss to explain it and yes wine has helped 🤣🤣
This one is a bit more complicated then it looks. I have tried this as the very first mod on my 107 and I have failed miserably. I tried to tap into the original wires on the left hand side window but for some reason the car only recognise one switch at a time. It did work with another 6 pole AC switch with no problem but I could not make it work with the 3 switches at once.
I bought some electric window regulators and after market switches to retro fit to my daughters C1 that had manual windows. Easy to do and work like a dream. Just need to fit some speakers in the place where the winder holes are now 😂
This is dead handy, I have to manually turn on the cab light when people enter via passenger door so a switch for the door itself is a great idea. Running the wire vis back of seats is the route I'll take, looks easy enough. Another fine vid.
Just wanted to say thank you for this video. I ended up using a Hilux door switch which was £4 from China via eBay, and a scree from the screws acquired over the years, with a couple of metres of wire. Thanks again!
I just thought for a long time my passenger side mustn’t work ! I didn’t realize it’s normal for them 🤣 that’s too complicated for me to fix but I did enjoy you sorting yours out 😊
Haha nearest i got to this job was i installed Spiderman logo door puddle lights on my 1995 Fiat Barchetta and ran the wires up to the central dome light, always brought a smile to my face opening door at night !! Wish there was option for fotos, and cud show u !!
any idea where to place trunk switch to have a light in the trunk? i installed a wire from fuse box all the way to the trunk and then realized i cant install a switch like its metal door
@StupidBlokeStupidVideos i somehow did it. not sure if it will last but its working for now lol. i put it just above the rear bumper on the left side, where there is screw, i used this screw to screw in the switch but had to drill out a hole for the cable part. If you will find any better solution, just show us, thanks.
My boot hatch key has become a bit of a pig to get in to the hole, was thinking of running a cable inside to pull the catch to open it from the inside, maybe a future upgrade to the Shitter
Hi Tim managed to get hold of a switch so gonna fit it to passenger door, wish me luck, what wire can I use to run across from drivers door to passengers door,
Nice upgrade! My interiorlight goes sometimes on and off while driving. Also sometimes when i steer sharp to a right corner. Any idea what this could be? My fuelmeter goes also up and then down to one block. After a while it goes back to the right value it is at the moment. Battery is good. Those two issues became when i get a flickering batterylight, that light is now gone out of itself for a month. Could it be the alternator?
The light is more likely the door catch wants adjusting. As you turn a corner hard the mad G forces these cars make is pulling the door away from the switch slightly
i have given up on my aygo as it dawned on me that i hated it with a passion due to not being able to put big stuff in boot, i perused marketplace and bought the first car i saw in my budget with a larger boot, good news is if you ever want a worse car to review or fix try a Renault twingo mk2 ......,,
Although I can understand your reasoning, as a former Renault owner you have my full sympathy, only thing i can say about a Renault is it's a car you can hate with real passion.
@Stupid Bloke Stupid Videos cos I only had 400 quid I needed a car that I can get my cement mixer in the back and the aygo couldn't do it, I didn't realise the twingo was even less impressive than the aygo ffs.

Have you ever considered removing the back seat and turning in to a van? Making most of the limited space, everyone i know too fat to fit in the back seat anyway, shame about the fuel tank sitting above the line of the floor
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos I might give it a go at some point sooner or later, probably when I change it for a brighter bulb since it's near useless when on lol. Also, not relevant to this video, but thought you may be interested in Officially Gassed's latest video where they've dyno'd the performance differences between fuels - I know nowhere near as scientific as your videos (and no foot tapping??) but still worth a nosey, especially since you like maximum power in this beast car!

Would you do a similar one for the driver to open the passenger window without leaning over?
My car hasn’t got electric windows 😞

YES. It’s a nice easy mod this one and definitely worth it. Good to know which other switches fit too. Thanks for watching!
Good work! Will definitely do this on my C1. I will probably add some silicone to prevent leakage issues.
Be careful with the silicone, if it’s insulated from the car body it won’t work lol

Thanks for watching. If you don’t wanna mess about running wires, you can always just turn it on manually if needed anyway 🤷♀️
Nice work, this is one of the improvements I plan to do.
It’s a nice, easy and effective upgrade tbh
If you look for a Door lamp swich Toyota ,you will find loads of them, its a standard Toyota part used a lots of there cars about £8.00 new
