hey! so you have any issues with making calls for your work? Maybe calls not going through or just being blocked due to the International caller ID? I have been in Mexico for about a month now and have noticed this issue quite a bit as I have to make a lot of phone calls for work. I use Verizon for my cell phone service. Any info would help! Thanks, love the videos
In December 2023, we were pulled over by 2 Guardia Nacional between Mitla and Oaxaca City on our way back from Hierve el Agua. We had rented a driver in a yellow taxi. We didn't notice any other yellow taxis along that strip of hwy. One Guardia Nacional white car was behind us, then another pulled in front of our taxi, like a threat. They told our driver to ask us for 1000 pesos and to put it in his registration packet. They took the money, then gave him back his packet. They didn't want passers-by to see him handing them cash. It was clearly extortion, since there was no driving infraction. They saw a taxi full of foreigners, and extorted us. Be aware. The Guardia Nacional are crooks. Otherwise, Hierve el Agua was nice to visit and had a good hike there.
Great content keep it up👏🏾👏🏾Greetings from Arizona
Appreciate it!! Cheers!
Great attitudes, you two! Again, appreciate all the info!

thanks for the video. i'll be in Oaxaca in March and looking to visit here too. Is there any other way from Mitla to the waterfalls?
This is the only way we are aware of. You may be able to negotiate a private taxi, but we didn't see many while we were waiting.
Hermoso

I haven't had any issues, but then again I don't use the phone much for work. We mainly use Zoom!
