I love your videos so much! They are so real, they're funny and very helpful for someone who is planning a trip to the places you are. I absolutely devour them! Sometimes I laugh so hard. The vid with something in your tooth the whole time made me chuckle nonstop, and killing the big bug in your room was hilarious!! I also love your Spanish. Muchas Gracias.
Just found you the other day and need to say, love your videos and honesty! Glad to see the journey.❤ Mexico is such a wonderful place and you display it greatly.
travelling gives so much energy. i feel dead without it! the waterfalls are amazing . i could have spent the whole day there. im addicted to reliving mexico through you!
Dude, your video moved me. I have known so many expats fall in love with this country and I understamd them. I do believe México is one of the few places where you can still connect, if not with people, with yourself. As a Mexican I encourage you to keep your journey and you're welcome,,
Wow, thanks so much! Mexico is definitely my happy place! There’s something magical in the air. I really appreciate your comment and the warm welcome! Thanks for watching!
The natural springs after Mitla were fabulous, I like the way you roll. Wishing you safe travels my friend. You are on a beautiful journey ❤to your truest self.
Hi. You are very brave!! I am Mexican and not sure I would take so many adventures with so little information. You know a lot more interesting places than me.... Great Content!! Gracias.
Thank you very much! I may be brave when I travel, but I’m usually riddled with worry and anxiety at home. I think there is something magical in the Mexican air! 😂
i loved this video (as I do all your videos). The mosaics and intricate stone carvings were amazing! And i am glad your trip helped you feel happier and more at peace.
Hola Alfie, cool adventure! The ruins at Mitla with all those stone carvings were awesome. Hopefully you didn't eat a crushed cow eyeball in those taquitos. 😂 The Hierva el Agua excursion on your own was ballsy, not knowing if you can get a ride back from a remote place like that, it's scary. Keep showing skin, you might get a date from one of your subscribers. 😀 Glad you're feeling good and happy, love the video!
Thanks so much Lou! This will be a “skin heavy” season as I hit a lot of beaches! But I’m looking for someone who is more attracted to my editing skills than my body 😂
Another wonderful video! I know Mexico is your happy place, but I was wondering if you'll ever visit Guatemala? I've visited 2 times and love it. I plan on returning and would love to get your unique take on this country. Hasta Luego!☺
How long have you been traveling throughout México? And, do you go back to the US if your visa expired and return with another one? How did you figure your budget for such a long adventure? Please don't tell me you only travel with a backpack.
I travel to Mexico usually twice a year, for a month or two at a time. I do all my recording while traveling and then edit my videos once I am at home in the US. And yes, I only carry a backpack. I have a video on how I pack. As far as budgeting, I’m usually able to find very reasonable places to stay/eat. I stick with local places and avoid tourist traps.
Thanks again Alfi for another fabulous video. We really enjoy your “reality,” and ability to connect on a more personal level. Of course the editing and music selection is always superb. Regarding tunnels - have you found any solid reasoning why you can’t tour? Have asked many locals in Oaxaca city about the tunnels there but haven’t heard a reason that makes a lot of sense. Even Google searches tell me nothing. Can’t even find photos.
Thanks again my friend! No, I don’t know the reason either but I did read at one point that the column of death was starting to deteriorate due to so many people hugging it. So, I assume closing it off is for the integrity of the ruins, similar to how you’re not able to climb certain ruins anymore.
Hi man! I really admire you for what you do. I'm Mexican, living in Philly for very long time. I haven't ever been in Oaxaca. I would love to visit those places, but ,Not along. Four years ago visit La Riviera Maya.; Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum. I made the trip solo; and I definitely didn't enjoy it. I want to go to visit Oaxaca in a couple months. My question is Are you going to settle in Mexico for log term. Because I would love to meet you and we can make company when y go there.?

Cuando fui a Oaxaca tomé todos los tours, en lugar de viajar por mi cuente 😅
