as a Mexican, I really appreciate that you appreciated our culture. Just beautiful!!
Im from Mexico city! It’s beautiful!!
Aprecias que ella aprecia? xd
X2 💜
@Cyntia Lopez.. I appreciate Mexican culture and the people. Mexicans are so humble and respectful. I wish you and your loved ones the best in life..peace love.. have an awesome year!!
Everything she visited that I seen was mostly European.
I'm so happy someone is sharing more from Mexico than Tulum! I'm from Mexico City and super proud of it, it's an incredible city with lots of things to do
I live in Tulum and it's so overrated. I'm planning my exit! Your city looks so amazing!!
Hi! We want to spend our bachelor/bachelorette weekend in Mexico City. Not for partying and drinking but more cultural and gastronomy. Any suggestions you may have? Ty!
@@x3stephbabyyy historic center is a must, there’s lots of really impressive buildings and of course “Bellas Artes”, “Reforma” it’s a really big street and super pretty to walk… at this time of the year there’re some Christmas flowers decorating 🎄 museums: I really like Tamayo (it’s in the video) and the Museum of Anthropology (it’s super big so maybe just a quick visit or search for the things you would be interested to see in there)… Frida Khalo it’s usually a must (interesting and pretty just you know… living here it’s not my usual) for eating: I would suggest Roma/Condesa and Coyoacan! Coyoacan is a not soooo touristy neighbourhood and it’s really really pretty, food there is less expensive than the other ones and still pretty good, lots of restaurant options (La Calaca it’s my personal fav) and lots of bars too… 😜 there’s a cantina “La Coyoacana” here you can find mariachis (mostly on weekends)
@@x3stephbabyyy and Roma/Condesa is in my opinion really good just for walking around and taking a coffee (: you can find some random galleries and little museums in there
@@cecygarciadeleon4990 thank you so much! I screen shot your responses. I can’t wait to use your recommendations! Thank you so much. Definitely have to see the mariachis in that cantina! Sounds amazing.
Mexico City looked so good, I feel this part of Mexico isn’t showed case as much.
You sold also Mexico to me 😍
It always is actually, this and Polanco
Actually. So many areas of MEXICO city are not showi it MEXICO city. Its so big. Easily twice then new york. This girl. Just. Focus in two old neighborhoods. But MEXICO city. Its really enormous. So the sizes of the city intimidate. To so many ppl. But if you are more adventure and travel more the city. You can amazed. More with this giantic modern and old city. Welcome to MEXICO!!!
@@MA-zv8wn Absolutely, that’s where Tar Mar was saying that she stayed in those two neighbourhoods. I hope to be able to visit one day and see Mexico City in all its beauty
I am from Mexico City and I am so proud to say that ! Everyone must visit Mexico City, way better than NYC!
@@bennysmiley Always Welcome to MEXICO. Yes!! MEXICO city. Its so BEAUTIFUL City. Its considerate a living museum, because we preserved The origins of the gret tenochtitlan city. Loved this video! I have been visiting Mexico City for a couple of weeks now and will be here for another month or so. I’m so happy that people are showing how beautiful this city is. If you are considering visiting I say take this as your sign to book! And I say this as a black solo female traveler. It’s been a dream ☺️
yay! thanks for sharing ❤️
🙋🏿♀️Another black solo female travel. Here for a month! Enjoying it so far!
I will be travling alone also next month to Mexico City so excited !
As a Mexican woman, it makes me so happy to know you enjoyed your visit!! Thanks for coming!
I will be traveling alone too next week. Am so excited even though my stay will be short
I'm from Mexico and I lovee the way that you are showing the city and that you are actually intersted in our culture, it's so refreshing to see someone that comes to Mexico but not to Cancun, I just LOVE this video!!
Cada estado tiene lo suyo, así que no me nospresies a los demás. Como mexicana deberías de saber que México tiene de todo. Y hay que agradecer a Dios por ello. Saludos
Do you have any recommendations?! I am going next month
I´m so glad you made this video, it´s really upsetting that the majority of time the world sees México as a dangerous and even ugly place, when our country has so much to offer and is beautiful and we love tourists! I hope more people see this video and makes them want to come visit!
One of my favorite cities in the world! 🇲🇽
this video has all the vibes of a ‘wish you were here’ postcard you would send to a loved one
yes, it does.... its just so pretty.
I've been all around the world. And Mexico is easily my favorite place. The art, the history, it's modern and vintage at the same time. The people are warm and inviting. And the best parts are the food and the prices.
Wowww you’ve easily convinced me to go to Mexico City and it’s never really been on my radar befor e
It's a great pl
Mexico City is niceeee
I loove this video. As a mexican who lived her entire life in Mexico city it is refreshing to see someone portraying my city as I remember it and not as how the mainstream media want everyone to think how Mexico is.
thanks for showing me a side of Mexico I was unaware of! what a charming place! when I saw those amazing museum buildings I was like... why is London so dated lol excited for NY vlogs, hope you're settling back in well
The media portrays only a tiny part of Mexico. Mexico is absolutely nothing like you imagine. If you ever visit, you need to get rid of stereotypes as you will be shocked as to how diverse we are.
This place looks so charming. I don't know much about Mexico City and it looks so lovely.
I’m so glad you went to visit Mexico 🇲🇽 City 💓 I’m Mexican myself and this video was so beautifully to watch.
thankyou so much
that candy colored wall may only look great in Mexico. It just looks so beautiful. the apartment is so beautiful... my gosh that park and museum is so pretty. Mexico City just looks so fine. I really wish sometime soon. I get to be someplace as exciting.
Mexico City was the last place I visited right before COVID hit. I love the way you captured it so perfectly 🤍
Every clip is just stunning and well take care, you made me feel like wanting to come back and live in Mexico City again 😅
im from guadalajara and i loove visiting cdmx the city has such great vibes
Well l love Guadalajara more than that Mexico City
❤️❤️❤️OMG, I've been waiting a vlog from Mexico since you've started posting first photos from there on you IG❤️❤️❤️ I really would love to travel there one day, it's so vibrant and beautiful. Seems like a perfect place to recharge and get inspired ~
Love this vid so much! Feels like I'm going on a virtual vacay🥺❤️
yes felt the same! i especially appreciated the view and angles of the camera shot. thanks again Tar Mar
I'm Mexican and have been to Mexico City many many times and you did such a good run down of the city! I actually haven't been to some of your recommendations and I can't wait to try those! Pro tip: Roma Norte and Condesa have cool nail salons and you can get a mani pedi for half the price of the US - I do that every time I visit!
Thank you for showing the beauty of Mexico City. 🇲🇽
Mexico City is truly one of my favs. So nostalgic to see some of the places I've been and also get some ideas for my next trip!
Everything looks so gorgeous 😍😍😍
This is in my bucket list.I have travelled 20 countries so far.

Dont be tempted ,just go, you'll love my country. The mixture of architecture styles from European to mexican , the places, the food and the best part of all the people.
MEXICO IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND FRIENDLY.
Very different as shown on Hollywood clichés.
Language is not a problem, lots of mexicans speak english.
Been waiting on the Mexico video and this was gorgeous!
This is so helpful! I’m planning to surprise my husband for his birthday to a trip to Mexico City.
Thanks for sharing your helpful tips.
Roma Norte is one of the most emblematic Barrios in Mexico City. Great place to walk and enjoy parks, restaurants, and bars. Very dynamic neighborhood
Wow now I really want to go! I’m hoping to go back either this Fall or the one next year. I love the way you showed all the places. They’re on my list now
Omgggg I’m studying for my finals and Tara’s vids bring me so much serotonin🥺 thank you sis!!!!!! You really help me going through these tough times 💞 sending all of you guys good energy and loads of love 🥰❤️💕💕💕💕💞💞💞

Thanks for sharing the safety tips, Tara - very useful, never thought about sharing my location with another person - good idea! Glad you had a great trip and happy you're back in NYC! xx
Mexico City is magical. I have a layover there before I head back to my mom's native land in Oaxaca, and I'm thrilled to add some of these spots to my list. Thanks for the beautiful video, xx.
Great Video, the best, vibrant, gret people, culture, gastronomy, historic city in the world
Mexico City is just fascinating!!!
This is so in-depth and so aesthetically pleasing to watch. Thank you for always capturing the atmosphere perfectly. Guess I'm spending rent money on Mexico now haha
Thank You for sharing this amazing tour. It all looks so beautiful. I’m inspired to start traveling more again 🥰
Mexico city is way safer than many cities in the USA. 🤷🏻♂️ Be thank full u were able to be there.
I find that to be true about most cities in Mexico.
Thank you for this wonderful video, super helpful! Seens like you had a very nice time and that Airbnb: so cool! I‘m going go Mexico City in August and my family has been so anxious for me to go, because they just don‘t know this side of this beautiful country! Would love to hear what architectural houses you would have wanted to see, but couldn‘t :)
Those architectural houses are stunning
Planning my 2023 trip. thanks for this
Mexico is so much more than just tequila and beaches. Great video!
what a gem. So happy I watched this. Really loved your recommendations
I'm from Mexico City been living here for 7 years and you showed me parts of the city I didn't know existed
Good grief.
Omg I LOVE this. Didn’t know Mexico has so many pretty places where you can enjoy so much of beautiful art 😍
In México City you never get bored, it has restsurants and hotels of first level, so many museums, parks, malls and beautiful neighborhoods!
Great video. I liked the suggestions for visits to architecturally significant homes in Mexico City. Many neighborhoods are great for walking. A great place to visit. Another very safe neighborhood is Polanco. It is more upscale than Condesa and Roma, so it may not be as interesting/funky as the other neighborhoods, but it does have good restaurants and safe lively nightlife. Rome and Condesa are a short (depending upon traffic) Uber drive away.
you made me fall in love with my city all over again
Hey Tara! What an awesome video!! I’ve been dreaming of visiting Mexico City. Thanks for all the recommendations! 🎉🥳 and welcome back to the city 😉
Great video! Made me wanna visit Mexico City ASAP. Will save this one for when I visit ❤️
Beautiful video Tara! It was a pleasure to see CDMX through your eyes! You definitely went to all the right places and enjoyed the best the city has to offer! Thank you for sharing!
ahhh, it's been too long! absolutely loveee your travel vids and vlogs. so nice to see you exploring once again (even if it wasn't necessarily a planned vacay). happy to have you back in the states, though!
Thank you so much for making this travel guide Tara! I know you were there for other reasons but still managed to make it a positive experience and Mexico City is now on my bucket list
Omg my country! glad you had a beautiful time here
Wow, I really enjoyed watching this vlog! I also just posted my solo vacation trip to Mexico for my birthday and I would encourage everyone to try solo travel at least once!! stop thinking too much and just do it!

I love that you enjoyed my hometown Mexico City. You were very sweet describing and promoting it. ¡Gracias!
Beautiful footage of your trip! Would love to visit Mexico City one day
Dont think about it go, life's too short. The places are beautiful, the parks, the food, is elegant and is beautiful.
Lucky! When I went last October the castle and the antropology museum were closed. Need to go back!
What a wonderful experience you had in Mexico City. After watching your video I immediately began looking for flights. Looking forward to watching more of your videos. OK Tar Mar keep entertaining us and Happy Travels.

You did an excellent job of explaining & showing why tourist should consider visiting Mexico City. Very well done.
I’m planning a trip to Mexico with ny family and your video helped me lot with making my decision since everyone is doubting about going!
it's beautiful- go!
I've always wanted to go to Mexico City and have been apprehensive to do so but you have showed us that it can be done and just be smart about how you do things. Thank you so much! And you didn't butcher the pronunciation I speak Spanish and it's also hard. Fyi sis your looking so good and refreshed after coming back from your trip so happy your back.
I’m heading there in July - did you feel like it was still pretty open and worth it?!
Now, it is really open, you can come and enjoy the city
You'll fall in love with Mexico city. Go to Roma, Condesa, Chapultepec park and the new part of the city the skyscrapper part.
Its open but infection is high
@@arjnoro1 but that is only part of Mexico city. Id say go to the commercial streets behind zócalo, garibaldi, and to other less swanky places if u can
One of my favorite cities. Nice video.
I am glad you got a chance to visit this beautiful city
