The first time I came to Mexico City was in 2018 and I knew I had to come back! This time I'm here by myself and I'll be working remotely. I may do a few touristy things, but since I've done most of them before, my goal this time is to soak in the city at a slower pace.

Is not that tortas are underrated, its just the mindset most mexican restaurant owners have. They just want to go for what sells quick, and under the pretext that it doesn't sell or americans don't like. But as a former vender, it definitely sold, you just have to find the niche and have faith that the clients will come. But its mostly mindset and what sell quick.
Girl, 65 Mexican pesos for a torta with meat is such a good price, like maybe the other one was more expensive, but you can’t even get frozen food for that price in the US. Makes me kind of mad that Americans and foreigners in general always want everything super cheap when they come here, although it’s way cheaper for them than their everyday food
@@ef2931 I agree that it’s a good price, never said it wasn’t. I just said I was on a budget personally so I didn’t want to spend too much on that meal. That’s me being on a specific budget myself so that I’m comfortable spending money on other things
