I’m going to Mexico City for my honeymoon in 2 weeks. Thanks for the recommendations! I’m so excited to go. Me and my fiancé have family in other parts of Mexico but we’ve always wanted to experience Mexico City. I wonder what your friend thinks of living there bc my fiancé wants to try loving in the city.
Oh my goodness congratulations!😍 I’m so excited for you and your fiancé you’re going to have the BEST time! And my friend absolutely loves living there and I see why!
I live in San Diego. I went to Mexico City for 4 years ago. I wasn't excited planning a trip to a big crowded city. When I got there I was BLOWN AWAY! This video totally took me back as went to many of the same places. Thank You. Mexico is loaded with "Goods".
Great video Leilani! Really informative. Agree that Mexico city is stunning. And safe if you take normal precautions. The central areas Condesa, Roma Norte, Histórico and Polanco are so easy to walk around , really safe with so much to do.
I've always wanted to visit mexico but I've been putting it off since I'm lazy with planning lol. I'm taking this as a sign that I need to go this year tho lol, it looks so beautiful!! thanks for the recs lol this vid gave me so much wanderlust!!
Idk if there’ll be a language barrier there but I would love to visit the museum there. Whenever I enter a museum I get emotional thinking about how this was real stuff in the past.
Also visited Mexico City last year. An amazing city! I preferred the city to even Barcelona, imagine that! And the best part about the city? The PEOPLE! So friendly, so helpful.
I'm so glad you went it's looked like you had so much fun. My grandpa was born there and is going there during the summer might go down with him. But I'm so glad you can see the beauty of Mexico City and see the Mexican culture:D
You should try and go with him, it’s so much fun!😍 I’m so glad I finally got to see and experience Mexico City, I’m sure I’ll be going again to see more!😉
Thank you for all of these helpful tips. I’ve had CDMX on my bucket list for so long but for some reason everyone thinks it’s not safe. I’ll probably just go solo next year and explore based on your locations as well 😊
I hope you like our city and have a lot of fun, in the city there is a lot of variety of events every weekend, there are dance halls, you could go to the castle of chapultepec, its parks section one and section 2, Xochimilco another beautiful place to relax.
Hey Leilani Rika!, Nice vlog! Glad you enjoyed Mexico City, I am from LA and came here in 1986, I never went back to the US. Came here with my wife who is Mexican. We also had a great time here, She passed 10 years ago from Cancer. Loved her so much 💗 that I decided to stay, Mexico was way different than I expected and I think you have those same vibes too. I'm Andrew but changed my name to Andres here because no one could pronounce it. Thanks for sharing your perspective on this wonderful city!
I love Mexico City! I've only been there once but it was a great experience for me, too. If you enjoy Mexico culture, there are a lot of places just across the border, too! TJ is a bit sketch, but I have a house in Rosarito, and since it's such a big tourist destination, it's pretty safe! There are a lot of good places along the coast that you can go to, I highly recommend Rosarito and, if you like seafood, you HAVE to go to Puerto Nuevo. Best lobster I've ever had was at Restaurant Puerto Nuevo #1. 本当におすすめ!
Omg thank you for the recommendations!😍 ahh my family and I have gone to Puerto Nuevo a couple times and we LOVE IT! Always get the lobster!🤤 whenever we have friends/family visiting we love to take them to Puerto Nuevo since we are so close to Mexico!💕
@@leilanirika awesome!! I’m so glad more people are visiting, I feel like our little coast towns are so underrated! To be honest, I haven’t been able to travel Mexico much, I really only know my family’s places, so I really love being able to see other people explore it and experience our culture. 🥰 thank you for visiting so often!
Leilani, I enjoyed your video a lot but I must point out that on minute 8:01 you are not in Coyoacan. You are in Avenida de la Paz going from Insurgentes Ave up to Revolución Ave. and more concretely towards San Angel Inn, one of the poshiest and most expensive neighborhoods in Mexico. The "flea market you mentioned is in Plaza San Jacinto, in San Angel and it's called "Bazar del Sábado" or Saturday's Bazaar because it opens only on Saturday. I lived in that neighborhood for over ten years. Frida's Casa Azul is in Coyoacan.
Hello, thank you for visiting my city! Although 40-45 pesos for a taco is REALLY expensive, here the good tacos are like 12 pesos, you should try them once! 😊
Ahh your trip looked amazing and so beautiful with all the greens and lushness of it all. My boyfriend is mexican and hes been trying to get me to go visit. One day! Lol Im glad you had a wonderful and fun time! Its good to immerse yourself in different cultures. Dont worry about the language barrier. Hi!! We are thinking of going next month. But I heard it’s no rainy season. Would your friend be able to help shed some light as to how much it rains in July?? It’s it all day? Or just an hour or so in the afternoon etc? I wanted to figure that out before booking out flight. Thanks!!
Great video! I was wondering when you crossed the border to Tijuana did you leave your car at the TJ airport to fly to CDMX or how'd you get to TJ from SD?
Beautiful video. Perfect editing, perfect titling, and perfect descriptions with the background music. I hear those minibuses are a risk in the city there. Stay safe. Keep them coming please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just moved back to my home country after having lived in cdmx for 6 months and it’s become my favourite city in the world 🥹 this video is giving me all the feels

Beautiful video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
