And why wait till someone can pull the boat? Why not just leave now? Why wait for the stars to align where the Fishman island gets destroyed and someone just happens to be there to pull the boat? And that specific boat at that. The Boat has to have a grander purpose that actually make sense.

There's a really high possibility that will indeed happen.. However, I believe that it will be for the good, forcing the Fishman into the regular world to coexist freely with human kind once Luffy finishes demolishing the world government.. it will happen, but I think it will happen on the big final war to make more of an impact on how BIG that war would be

My thought had always been that Luffy would either knock down or be the cause of the knock down of the Red Line, which would mean the end of Fishman island due to its location.
I don't really talk about Shyarly's prediction much mostly because I hate how Shyarly's name is spelled, but mostly because I assume that her prediction will be accurate, it will just happen at a very distant point where it'll actually make more sense why Luffy would do this. Really, though, a lot of things were set up on Fishman Island that we didn't realize were important at the time; heck, we first heard about Joyboy during this arc, and I love how pretty much everyone at the time didn't think anything off it, like "okay, someone named Joyboy existed, moving on", before Wano made us realize that Joyboy is probably THE most important figure from One Piece's past. Really, it's the exact opposite of how fans are now, where we expect every little thing to be important (which is honestly kind of strange, given that you'd think we would have learned that by the time Joyboy was first mentioned.

We pretty much can make sense of it now. We know MG/MJ is above fishman island on the red line. And the empty throne that Imu sits on is on it. And Joyboy's promise was to allow the fishman to go to the surface. The WG are the ones preventing this. So when the prophecy is fulfilled we'll probably see that this rubble is the rubble of MG after Luffy destryoys MG and creates the all blue. Which will also fulfil Joyboy's promise, let laboon get to his pod and so on. Fishman island being destroyed won't be a bad thing because it'll bring the fishmen together on the decision to go to the surface as their queen wanted.
It’s not Luffy. It’s Catarina Devon. Blackbeard is going to attempt to kidnap Shirahoshi after Caribou tells him that she is Poseidon. She’ll pretend she is Luffy to lure Shirahoshi, while the Blackbeard pirates burn and destroy Fishman Island. That’s what Shyarly saw.
I personally believe Luffy will activly destroy Fishman Island. Something will threaten Fishman Island, possibly the Red Line being about to fall, and Luffy will preemptivly destroy it to ensure everyone evacuates to Noah before it's too late, or to prevent anyone from staying behind.

I dunno, we've got Django's hypnotism powers and Ms Goldenweek's weird paint magic which have no in-world explanation. And maybe Black Maria because, unless creating illusions is how spiders hunted in ancient times, her powers have no explanation either. I think there are just some characters who are born with unique abilities in the OP world.
Django's hypnotism is because of the mushroom growing on his chin that he ate, and Ms golden week has special paint, and Black Maria's illusions are probably just a hallucinogenic venom, which some spiders are known to have.
the Klabautermann alone is enough to justify magic. on miss goldenweek its not special paint she can intuit the meaning in colors using them to evoke emotion in an individual looks phycological? but the cover stories being cannon says otherwise. she painted the "sky" manifesting her comrades dream in ensemble continuing even after absconding.

The Noah boat is allegedly meant to evacuate the island when the day comes, at least if the Joyboy note is believed. If you remember Robin finding the Poneglyph down there, the "tree" roots around that area were the giant tree running up to Mariejois through the Red Line. Elbaf has a similar giant tree called Gaint Jack.
In Wano it was stated that the country would be unprotected if Pluton was unleashed, and Oden wanted to open up Wano after he got to laugh tale. So, after luffy gets to laugh tale he may want to unleash the ancient weapons, like Oden. What if unleashing Posiden resulted in fishman island being destroyed, similar to Wano, after Luffy unleashes it?
The thing is no matter what happens in the story if someone says the word is getting destroyed it doesn’t mean the physical destruction it also can mean changes in society and in some sense luffy did change a part of fishmen island A great example of this is in my opinion the story of kamen raider Gaim were evolution itself destroys worlds as a matter of Changing or in that case the next step of evolution In order to create something new something else needs to be destroyed first

It doesn't seem too "unonepiecy" to have someone with a unique ability that no one else has, perhaps, just like the voice of all things, it is something you are born with, perhaps someone in the past also had it, perhaps that was even joyboy, but that ability is something much more unique in that just one person has it every x centuries. The way i see it, the seakings telling roger and oden the same that she saw was just the voice of all things being used to say "yeah, she can predict the future"

It was never explained where the devil fruits come from, how do they give powers, why can't someone who's eaten one swim, how come they have "personality"? i get haki, since it basically is defined as "the power of determination" then it can basically do whatever the autor wants, but the voice of all things? that is just someone that some people can do and others can't, a magic power or ability or whatever you want to call it that allows them to "hear" things when the author wants them to hear it, so it is basically the same as someone who get glipses of the future, from the most mundane stuff to the most world shaking events, as the author pleases, both of them seem very much magical to me even in the world of one piece. Back in the day, when mantra was introduced it also felt like magic, but then oda explained it being part of haki, so perhaps both the voice of all things and being able to see far in the future are going some day be explained as special types of haki too, who knows.
Learning about the future and the destruction of fish man island is all well and good but the important question still needs to be answered : “Do mermaids poop?”

Highly unlikely. MG and the empty throne is right above fishman island and nika vs imu is kinda teed up to be the fight that rights all wrong, and allows the fishmen to come to the surface fulfilling joyboy's promise. So destroying fishman island will be a GOOD thing. Because the fishmen will then be united in the desire to leave on the ark and join the people of the world.
I don't think they ever show him destroying the island... they just show him standing in the flames. This just means he will be present for the destruction. Our he could be the cause but not the method.
I think Madam Shyarly must have some devil fruit power that she doesn't even know she has. It could be like the Bonny situation where the devil fruit was injected into her mother while pregnant.

Luffy will destroy the red line. If I’m remembering correctly fishman island is directly under the redline therefore all the rubble and debris will crush fishman island which will allow the fishmen to join everyone above the sea like the fishy queen wanted.
My personal theory is during binal battle with IMU in marijuva , luffy uses Bajrang Gun and the falling debri of Marijuva destroys fishman island........... what do you all think

I don't really talk about Shyarly's prediction much mostly because I hate how Shyarly's name is spelled, but mostly because I assume that her prediction will be accurate, it will just happen at a very distant point where it'll actually make more sense why Luffy would do this. Really, though, a lot of things were set up on Fishman Island that we didn't realize were important at the time; heck, we first heard about Joyboy during this arc, and I love how pretty much everyone at the time didn't think anything off it, like "okay, someone named Joyboy existed, moving on", before Wano made us realize that Joyboy is probably THE most important figure from One Piece's past. Really, it's the exact opposite of how fans are now, where we expect every little thing to be important (which is honestly kind of strange, given that you'd think we would have learned that by the time Joyboy was first mentioned.
We actually first heard about joy boy during skypiea when Robin read the poneglyph

We pretty much can make sense of it now. We know MG/MJ is above fishman island on the red line. And the empty throne that Imu sits on is on it. And Joyboy's promise was to allow the fishman to go to the surface. The WG are the ones preventing this. So when the prophecy is fulfilled we'll probably see that this rubble is the rubble of MG after Luffy destryoys MG and creates the all blue. Which will also fulfil Joyboy's promise, let laboon get to his pod and so on. Fishman island being destroyed won't be a bad thing because it'll bring the fishmen together on the decision to go to the surface as their queen wanted.
It’s not Luffy. It’s Catarina Devon. Blackbeard is going to attempt to kidnap Shirahoshi after Caribou tells him that she is Poseidon. She’ll pretend she is Luffy to lure Shirahoshi, while the Blackbeard pirates burn and destroy Fishman Island. That’s what Shyarly saw.
I personally believe Luffy will activly destroy Fishman Island. Something will threaten Fishman Island, possibly the Red Line being about to fall, and Luffy will preemptivly destroy it to ensure everyone evacuates to Noah before it's too late, or to prevent anyone from staying behind.

I dunno, we've got Django's hypnotism powers and Ms Goldenweek's weird paint magic which have no in-world explanation. And maybe Black Maria because, unless creating illusions is how spiders hunted in ancient times, her powers have no explanation either. I think there are just some characters who are born with unique abilities in the OP world.
Django's hypnotism is because of the mushroom growing on his chin that he ate, and Ms golden week has special paint, and Black Maria's illusions are probably just a hallucinogenic venom, which some spiders are known to have.
the Klabautermann alone is enough to justify magic. on miss goldenweek its not special paint she can intuit the meaning in colors using them to evoke emotion in an individual looks phycological? but the cover stories being cannon says otherwise. she painted the "sky" manifesting her comrades dream in ensemble continuing even after absconding.
There are also very rare and far between examples such as the magnetic brothers, despite the fact it isn't canon apparently. They have no fruit power.
What if the ancient user of the crystal ball saw the shadow of a man in a strawhat destroying Fishman Island. Which everyone thought would be the Joyboy of the past, which is why he made the promise to free Fishman Island, because he and everyone thought he was the one to fulfill that prophesy.

for the time being, my running theory is luffy is formally recognized as nika (maybe not publicly though) and emu will use the weapon to destroy fishman island because it is luffy's territory.
Fishman Island is below Mariejois, so to destroy one might mean to destroy both. Gotta get Sanji his All Blue somehow.

@@ninjaman0003 it's still 40,000m under the sea. It was many bubble islands, that humans had to use bubble transportation to get between. The Noah boat is allegedly meant to evacuate the island when the day comes, at least if the Joyboy note is believed.
If you remember Robin finding the Poneglyph down there, the "tree" roots around that area were the giant tree running up to Mariejois through the Red Line. Elbaf has a similar giant tree called Gaint Jack.

In Wano it was stated that the country would be unprotected if Pluton was unleashed, and Oden wanted to open up Wano after he got to laugh tale. So, after luffy gets to laugh tale he may want to unleash the ancient weapons, like Oden. What if unleashing Posiden resulted in fishman island being destroyed, similar to Wano, after Luffy unleashes it?

The thing is no matter what happens in the story if someone says the word is getting destroyed it doesn’t mean the physical destruction it also can mean changes in society and in some sense luffy did change a part of fishmen island
A great example of this is in my opinion the story of kamen raider Gaim were evolution itself destroys worlds as a matter of Changing or in that case the next step of evolution

i mean, devil fruits, the voice of all things, haki and even seastone all seem to be pretty magical to me. It doesn't seem too "unonepiecy" to have someone with a unique ability that no one else has, perhaps, just like the voice of all things, it is something you are born with, perhaps someone in the past also had it, perhaps that was even joyboy, but that ability is something much more unique in that just one person has it every x centuries. The way i see it, the seakings telling roger and oden the same that she saw was just the voice of all things being used to say "yeah, she can predict the future"

i get haki, since it basically is defined as "the power of determination" then it can basically do whatever the autor wants, but the voice of all things? that is just someone that some people can do and others can't, a magic power or ability or whatever you want to call it that allows them to "hear" things when the author wants them to hear it, so it is basically the same as someone who get glipses of the future, from the most mundane stuff to the most world shaking events, as the author pleases, both of them seem very much magical to me even in the world of one piece. Back in the day, when mantra was introduced it also felt like magic, but then oda explained it being part of haki, so perhaps both the voice of all things and being able to see far in the future are going some day be explained as special types of haki too, who knows.

MG and the empty throne is right above fishman island and nika vs imu is kinda teed up to be the fight that rights all wrong, and allows the fishmen to come to the surface fulfilling joyboy's promise. So destroying fishman island will be a GOOD thing. Because the fishmen will then be united in the desire to leave on the ark and join the people of the world.

Luffy will destroy the red line. If I’m remembering correctly fishman island is directly under the redline therefore all the rubble and debris will crush fishman island which will allow the fishmen to join everyone above the sea like the fishy queen wanted.
