Nice haul brother that stove is super cool and will definitely pay for its self and it will look fabulous when your are finished with it I can't wait take care my friend
The stove is awesome I'm sure that will be a great addition. There's just something about wood heat that's better than anything else. Great show George thank you
Hello George great haul. I like the Stove also that is very cool., and the horse shoes. The cans of stuff for a dollar is cool I love it when I can find cans of chemicals I use. Have a great week Brother.
Not an expert, but the Internet says P. & J. Arnold made ink, so yep: ink bottle. Vitreous Stone Bottles; J Bourne & Son; Denby Pottery, near Derby; P. & J. Arnold; London, England. The “near Derby” seems goofy nowadays, but they often did this in Germany as well, up to the 1980s or so, on machine labels and lots of other items: tell people where they are, name of the town and the nearest bigger city.
Hello my friend! Thanks for the information I appreciate it. I was pretty sure it was an ink, but had not seen the maker before. Very interesting history with these old bottles.
Besides the subzero stretch before Christmas, winter in Kansas was almost tropical. Weather is getting weirder. My pick is the stove as well, but all great finds! Thanks again, George
Thanks Man, Ya we had a few cold snaps here in NJ. But we have damp winters and I think steady wood heat is gonna be a game changer and way less expensive. Ya winters are weird for sure now.Take it easy Bro.
Another great haul my brother! Love the horseshoes, can't wait to see what you do with those. That can of pipe threading oil is cool as it comes and my fav for the haul. I have some Armstrong dies somewhere, if I can find them, I'll hold on to them for you.
I admit I don't have much interest in horseshoes, but I found your discussion of the ice horseshoes and the Diamond Calk tool connection interesting. You got another great tool haul. Great bargains. The wood stove will make a nice difference in your shop in the winter. Alot more fun than trying to enjoy a hobby in the cold. Also, kerosene is expensive, especially for a lower distillate. Looking forward to your projects.
Thanks Pat, Ya I think I only know about 3 other guys that are really into the horse shoes. When I built my shop I was planning on putting in a wood stove eventually and this one is the same model I was checking out. I don't mind the cold I work in the elements but yes working with a good heat source makes a big difference. plus I can cook my lunch on it!
It would appear the jar is a printing ink bottle, maybe from the 1800´s. Many were exported to the US. I found a couple for sale at around $50 - 60. Nice one George! - Good find.
Love the stove!! Being about 3 hours from the Texas coast I dont have the heating issues I had when I was in Indiana, I just need 1 milkhouse heater. But before, I needed a bonfire to keep warm in the shop. I also liked the ink bottle, its funny how things run, I picked up a NOS glas ink bottle with a complete labe yesterday for a quarter. Keep 'em coming !!!
DUDEZILLA! The STOVE WILL be totally rad when you are done with your MAGIC!!! I have a little pot belly one and instead of going though the roof, I went through the wall..... They make a great kit for it and it's as 'easy has that girl we all knew in high school' to install.... It might save cutting a hole in your brand new roof...
AND!!! I got an old 'perculator' coffee container you just put on the stove and it makes GREAT coffee! It's too big for mine, Can I send it to you to donate to the 'WOOD-STOVE-PA-LOOZA 2024' project????
Thanks Little Brother! I knew I'd put in a wood stove eventually and might go through the wall but I'm not sure. We'll just have to see what we wanna do.
Awesome finds brother 🙌🏻🔥👊🏻. Did a little research on that bottle. I’m no expert but what I found was Bourne potteries were established in 1809. The Joseph Bourne pottery period was from 1833 to 1860, Joseph Bourne & son was added around 1850 and Codnor Park Mark was used between 1833-1861.
You got some great deals this week, George. I have waaaaay too many hobbies like a lot of people do. I have a nice shop to build things, a large model railroad layout, I enjoy metal detecting and also bottle collecting. I'd love to see your bottle collection. Have a Jesus filled Greg in Michigan
Hey Greg, those are some great hobbies but how about fishing? I have a pretty modest bottle collection. But my best is one of the first Dr. Peppers..I might do a show and tell one day.. I always liked and wanted to do more metal detecting I watch Aquachigger every time he uploads a video. Take care my friend see ya soon.
The little wood stove is awesome! I have always wanted to have one in my shop, but I have never been able to sacrifice the space for it. As I am getting older, I think I am getting closer to making it happen. I have an old potbelly style stove that needs restored, and a new (probably foreign made) potbelly stove that is missing all its small parts. I had a barrel style wood burner in the shop of my youth and it worked great, but a word the wise, it will take an hour or more for a wood burner to get hot and warm up your space. So if you only have an hour or two to spend in your shop, a wood burner is not a great solution. You can help that a bit if you say start the fire as soon as you get home from work. Then while you are eating dinner and such, the wood burner will do its thing and when you get out there, you can re-stoke it with wood and get to work(play).
Another great haul George! More horseshoes, Yay! Those ice calks are cool. They make total sense. That snap on wrench is probably $40 new. That stove is going to be be an excellent addition to the shop. Kerosene is too expensive and dangerous anyway. Really cool!!
Mike,Mike, Mike! Thank you Brother. I cant wait to get to building the hearth it's gonna be a real asset to the shop. I'll be saving a lot on fuel costs with the little stove. Take it easy.
Hey, I'd agree that its an ink pot too, looks like it was mid 1800s onwards, if thats any help. Like everyone else, that stove is a winner, sute it'll get some use in the future.
Thanks Alex! I just think it's cool and a great add to my bottle collection. Yes another thing I collect. LOL. Wood stove is gonna be a big project but well worth it in the end.
I’ve got a few old die holder pipe threaders on the wall, I bet your Armstrong cutters would fit one of them. Pretty cool. If you hang all those horse shoe open side up in your shop, you’ll be the luckiest guy around. I didn’t know you could show your caulk on utube. Thanks.
Those are some really cool finds Super George. You can make grilled cheese sammiches right on top of that little wood stove! That old jug is pretty cool too brother.
Thanks Captain Ivan. Yes grilled cheese!!! I'm so excited to be able to use it. But I'll have to put off the welder for a bit. Gotta buy materials for the wood stove but in the long run it will save me a lot in heating costs. I got cords of split and seasoned white oak in my yard. I like that jug it's a good add to my collection. Take it easy man and be good or good at it.
Love that little guide gear wood stove Guide gear is made by Sportsman's guide they carry all of their stuff from guide gear for their heating units you might be able to contact them and getting Sportsman's guide they carry all of their stuff from guide gear for their heating units you might be able to contact them and getting the pc you will need to bring that thing back up to perfect use
Thanks Man, It's the same model I looked at when I built my shop..but it just wasn't in the budget at the time. Good thinking contacting them for the parts.
nice haul George..... love the little wood burner ( nice resto project?), now waiting for you to bring an actual horse home rom the boot sale to go with all the shoes! 🤣
Great haul of stuff there mate. My favourite would have to be the wood heater too. You guys definitely need heat out there. With all the horse shoes and caulks, you’ll have to move out to Wyoming, buy a ranch and get some horses. 😂😂😂 Horses in Jersey just doesn’t sound right.
What about horses in Wombat?? or I could just shoe the spiders and ride them.🤣🤣 I am really looking forward to using it next winter. I'm sure it will give me more than enough heat. and we can cook on it! Take care Brother and please give our best to the Missus.
You can’t beat a wood burner in winter mate.
The heat, the crackle, the visual stimulation.
Man’s obsession with fire continues, timeless.
🔥
You got that right Brett! When I built my shop I knew I wanted a wood burner, I'm super happy I found one. Take care my friend.
Love the stove!!! Need one myself.
I was lucky to find this one.. It's the same model I was looking at when I built my shop but they were always a bit out of my price range.
Gonna be nice and toasty in there next winter! Great find!
Yes Sir Big Brother it's gonna be a game changer for sure!
Nice haul brother that stove is super cool and will definitely pay for its self and it will look fabulous when your are finished with it I can't wait take care my friend
Thanks Don! I think it'll be a way better heat source for the shop. Take care Brother don't let them work you too hard. See ya soon.
@Uwannawatch you're welcome brother
Great haul many cool things can be made from old horseshoes my favorite would be the wood stove
Thanks Larry me too I'm excited about it.
The stove is awesome I'm sure that will be a great addition. There's just something about wood heat that's better than anything else.
Great show George thank you
Hey Michael, Thank you . I think the wood stove will be a better heating solution for my shop.
Hello George great haul. I like the Stove also that is very cool., and the horse shoes. The cans of stuff for a dollar is cool I love it when I can find cans of chemicals I use. Have a great week Brother.
Hey Mr. Dale you know we save so much money buying those second hand cans. Take care brother catch ya later.
Great score! Hope your stove works out. Can't wait to see the clean up and fitting it to your shop. Have a great week and see you next time.
Thanks Mike. I'm really excited to get started on it. Just gotta wait for a good stretch of weather and I gotta rearrange the shop a bit.
Hey, I love the wood stove, and I can't wait to see it when you fix it up. I really enjoy your videos. Keep them coming. Thank you.
Thank You! I just put out a video of the stove restoration and building the hearth. It is in my video library.
Some nice stuff But the stove is fantastic looking forward to a great video thanks for sharing your time George 🍺🍺👍👍
Brian You the Man! I'm looking forward to getting the stove restored so i can be all nice and toasty next winter. Take care my friend.
Right on👍🏻 stove is my pick, the horseshoes- a lot of wall art potential there imo. Great finds. SSBS. Right on👍🏻
Right On! Right On! Ya I'll make something out of those shoes and the stove is going to be a better heat source for the shop I think.
That stove is amazeballs!!!!
Right??? Got it over at the Prickly Pig!

Stove for sure! Good stuff!
Thank You Mr. Wallace!
Oh man, that wood burner would do such a nice restoration video 👍
Ya it's gonna be a pretty good video for tens of viewers..and bonus it'll keep me warm.
Hey !George les fers pour chevaux sont superbes ,l'huile de coupe et la petite burette d'huile aussi, moi même j'en ai récupéré. Thank You Patrick, I am looking forward to using the stove and I enjoy collecting bottles as much as tools.
Another great haul my brother! Love the horseshoes, can't wait to see what you do with those. That can of pipe threading oil is cool as it comes and my fav for the haul. I have some Armstrong dies somewhere, if I can find them, I'll hold on to them for you.
Thanks Fred G! The oil was a pretty cool find for sure. I don't really need more dies but then again I don't think we need more of anything!🤣🤣
🔥 👍 😊
Thanks Buddy!

The stove is nice, and practical, but I will have to go with the ceramic jar from my homeland!..👍
Both were top of my list. I needed the stove and I didn't have that stone ware.
It would appear the jar is a printing ink bottle, maybe from the 1800´s. Many were exported to the US. I found a couple for sale at around $50 - 60. Nice one George! - Good find.
Thanks Stephen I appreciate it. When i saw it i had to get it.Pretty unusual find in my area.
Love the stove!! Being about 3 hours from the Texas coast I dont have the heating issues I had when I was in Indiana, I just need 1 milkhouse heater. Wow great find Patrick! Yes it's funny how things run like that. Then you won't see them again for a while. Take it easy and catch up with ya later!
Got to be the stove George. That will be really nice to brew some coffee or tea on that stove in cold weather.
Yes Mr. Bill I'm pretty excited to cook up some treats on there too. Like bacon and eggs..I'll never have to leave the shop.😁
Super solid haul. Those cleated horseshoes are really cool!
Thanks Brother! They are just one of those things that I don't see so of course I had to get them all! LOL.
DUDEZILLA! The STOVE WILL be totally rad when you are done with your MAGIC!!! I have a little pot belly one and instead of going though the roof, I went through the wall..... Hello, may I ask which brand are those green Acetate handle screwdrivers? Thank you.
They are SK.
I wish I could find stuff that cool at the flea markets in my area! Great haul. I've never found Diamond horseshoes with the calks. Awesome!
Thanks Man but you got all the other Diamond tools there!!!!!
that is very cool stove only issue with it you have feed it every 2 hours
great finds George 👍🔧🛠⚒️👍🇨🇦
Thanks Dan O! I'm curious to see how it burns but I got no problem hanging out in the shop feeding the stove. I got cords of white oak to use.

Nice score with the Snap on wrench. I just picked up a bunch of the SK professional wrenches and from the distance they do look very similar.
They do right? I'm probably the only guy not looking for snap on. LOL. Nice score on the SK!
I’ve got a few old die holder pipe threaders on the wall, I bet your Armstrong cutters would fit one of them. Pretty cool. If you hang all those horse shoe open side up in your shop, you’ll be the luckiest guy around. I didn’t know you could show your caulk on utube. Thanks.

nice haul George..... love the little wood burner ( nice resto project?), now waiting for you to bring an actual horse home rom the boot sale to go with all the shoes! 🤣
You Never Grumpa! I might hit one of the farming auctions.🤣🤣🤣
The shoes are my favorite!
You can use diesel in place of kerosene..
I know we do that at my work but diesel is pretty expensive too.. I got cords of white oak ready to burn. Those horse shoes are pretty sweet,
Great haul of stuff there mate. My favourite would have to be the wood heater too. You guys definitely need heat out there.

it is very surprising how much they want for the chemicals
You got that right Dan O!
A full can of pipe thread cutting oil, 52 caulks, throw it in my box, too many potential ex-wife jokes. Nice video.
🤣🤣 Some times the jokes just write themselves...
8:51 Sure sounded good but nobody bought that......... We all know cinnamon rolls and donuts are going to find their way....
Steak and eggs..
Ink bottle
