Love this fle market, great video and thank you for sharing..I actually saw something in this video I ended up buying a couple months after you filmed it!
Cool! I've actually seen items in some of my old videos that I ended up buying at another flea market later, but forgot I had seen them at an earlier flea market! Thanks for watching!
This is a pretty good flea market. This has been my local one for a long time, have you ever heard of seekonk flea market? Its a pretty big outdoor one. Its right next to seekonk speedway. You should go sometime
Great flea market! I ve been going there since I was a kid back in the 80s. As far as I know, it's always been a flea market, but who knows. Also, I like the indoor flea markets in Fall River and Wareham. Check them out when you can.
The entrance really feels like entering an old supermarket, but the interior doesn't really look like a supermarket. What are the indoor flea markets in Fall River and Wareham called? How big are they in comparison to the Rayhnam Flea Market? Thanks.
@fleabittenadventures Globe Flea Market in Fall River is in an old mill building with multiple floors. I'd say it's similar in size to Rayham with a lot of different things to browse. Cranberry Flea Market is smaller than both two floors but lots of cool items as well. Both have been around at least since the 80s when I was a kid. I enjoy them both!
I grew up going here with my dad , the video game guy had brand new games for 10$ under retail back in the day, and that place had the best fried dough ever 💯💯
These Videos are very entertaining and also well crafted. Being myself outside of USA, they give me information and scope of the American Way of Life. Keep on posting them and Greetings from Spain 👍
This place looks exactly like the Salem New Hampshire flea market. All the outdoor vendors sell all the same stuff. Overflow stuff from China. You should check out that flea market. I haven't been in years but I used to call at least once a month
like most people are saying iback as a kid they had the deals now its alot of “hyped” up stufff for top dollar you can find the occasion deal tho still every once and a while! love the vidd specially this inside one inside was always my favv!!!
This was originally built as an indoor tennis club. This building housed all the courts. As you walk in to the main doors upstairs on the left end of the building was a lounge that served food and drinks. Large windows overlooked the courts. The lounge was originally called Judson’s. Eventually its name was changed to The Peddler’s Loft. I worked as a musician in the lounge many times back in the late 80s and early 90s.
You know i only found out about this video cause my friend said i was in this video at the 7:15 mark. But i can honestly from the flea markets in the area, this is one of the best ones for me personally despite the far drive.
Hard to find ANY good deals there now a days, that place really sucks. People treat it like a retail store & not a flea market. 10 years ago it was a goldmine. eBay’s cheaper
Recently went there to buy some Dewalt batteries, and the prices were a few dollars more than what they were going for on Amazon, but I agree 10 years ago. Best place to find deals.
the phone attachment is called an auto-dialer. it does make the clicks same as the phone, use to make long distance phone calls for free back in the 90's
I think it's also for responding to instructions. " For .. please press 1 ". It makes the "1" beep sound and the system recognizes it as actually pressing 1
It was The Raynham Tennis Club , and upstairs was Peddlers Loft . They had some good bands in there in the 70s and early 80s . The Flea Market doesn't have the same zest it had the first 10yrs or so that it was opened .
Tom I had no idea the Raynham Flea Market still existed. Im so disappointed! I finally moved to Stoughton after 30 years and now mo ed away over a yr and new to your channel and so sad I have no car to go there. 😢
I was buying back in 1986-1991 tubes of AMERICAN SILVER EAGLES in original mint tubes of 20 coins for 100.00 dollars a tube. I bought over 150 tubes from one dealer over 5 years. I still have them all still sealed never opened in over 30+ years.
Hey Tom, your famous fleamarket catchphrase is missing on this video, " stuff I probably don't need, but just had to have" 😁 Just curious, do you mainly collect, or do you try to turn a profit on your stuff like on eBay or something? Enjoyed the video, reminded me of the one you posted not long ago, that was also indoor....and huge. Don't recall where that was, but remember the leaky roof in spots. Lol
There's a big difference between a flea market in a place where antique dealers rent booths, the antique dealers are people who have already found the good deal and are reselling for a profit. If you want a good deal on something today you have to go to a garage sale for an outdoor flea market where some of the people are there displaying you can tell the difference because they usually put everything they have on a blanket
Just wanted to point out the exit doors should always open out ... If a crowd is trying to exit in an emergency they are going to push the doors closed trapping people inside
That is a dial type to button type phone “upgrade” . It works as you mention. Also, that is megzord. As far as Japanese toys go, that sort of arrangement of a figure is pretty ubiquitous. So a lot of them look alike. Different designers and toymakers kind of work off the same basic five animals make one robot thing haha
You always mention ebay including shipping, which is cute, but also mention sales tax, which is 10%, so you got figure that in (which adds up SUPER QUICK), so buying most everything in person beats feebay….
The phone with touchpad on the microphone was to allow tone dialing from older rotary phones. Tone-dialing was a billable premium line item on the monthly invoice. Thus began the American tradition of nickel and diming customers to death.
Fyi pull doors are required in many buildings by law for safety in event of a fire emergency so people can get out. Massachusetts had incident many years ago where people were trapped because of this so I am pretty sure doors are required to be that way. Least from what I've been told.
That’s phone belonged to a _Phone Phreak_ (a group of people who reverse engineered the system of tones used to route long-distance calls. By re-creating the signaling tones, phreaks could switch calls from playing certain tones into the mouthpiece of their phones handset & avoid long-distance calling charges)
Used to be way better! More like a mall than a flea market. Lots of overpriced stuff. Haven’t been in like 2 years but I just remember that there was a lady outside that sold really good fruit. I would always get strawberries before leaving
Unfortunately you missed my spot. I am and have been the biggest video game dealer at the flea market. Spots 106, 107, 108 and 109. It's a shame because you showed all the amateurs.
There will be one more part to this video. You may be in the next video. Are you the one with the Operation Wolf arcade cabinet? If so, you're in the next video. Thanks for watching!

I'm in your age range and love looking for the same kinda things that catch your eye. Really enjoy perusing with you. Great steady camera work.
Thanks! Glad you liked the video!
Me and my grandpa love going to flea markets so this is fun to watch, also great vid 😃
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks!

Wow, so many toys and games. Thanks for taking us along
Thanks for watching!
I would love too too that flea market it looks like fun
If I lived closer, I'd probably be going there on a regular basis. Thanks for watching!
This is my favorite flea market. My uncle used to go every weekend for years.
Happy Birthday!
I'm sure it was at least somebody's birthday that day. They must have felt special! Otherwise, that song playing over and over would drive me crazy.
This is a pretty good flea market. This has been my local one for a long time, have you ever heard of seekonk flea market? Its a pretty big outdoor one. Its right next to seekonk speedway. You should go sometime
I've heard of the Seekonk Flea Market, but I've never been. It's kind of far for me, but I'll try to get to it sometime this year. Thanks.

i still go
Agree with the fried dough. I still go once a year, mostly for nostalgia . And end up just getting the fried dough every time😂
My wife and I walked the raynham flea market and then had our first born the very next day great memories 10 years ago
These Videos are very entertaining and also well crafted. Being myself outside of USA, they give me information and scope of the American Way of Life. Keep on posting them and Greetings from Spain 👍
I haven't been here since I was a kid, never expected to see a RUclips video of it pop up lol
I've been going there since I was a kid. I was there yesterday. I got 9 45 rpm records and an Elvis Costello 12-inch 45 rpm single for 12 bucks.
From the record kid on the left side when first walk in ?
Used to go there every Sunday. It's pretty terrible these days. Stuff inside is way over priced.
It's a toilet
He makes the jurassic park can with 3d printer, paints by hand. His work is incredible. ❤
0:57 the doors need to be in push direction going out for a quick escape in case of a fire.
Plus push out when carrying what you bought is easier.
12:55 and 15:45 gave me Walgreens/Walmart shoplifters' vibes.
These places are an invitation for shoplifters.
Yes. It always seems odd to me when they are selling medications and grocery type items at flea markets.
For sure! Especially when it gets really crowded.
Looks like an old hockey rink
I thought the same thing
Another viewer said it used to be an indoor tennis center.
Thanks for this, haven’t been in probably 20 years… now I don’t have to go… it looks better than when I was last there
The uzi was cool
Yeah! They don't make toys like that anymore!

I drove here last year with the family a lot of great deals, but there was a lot of vendors who were stuck on there high overpriced items.
Toe to tip. That's a Bart!
Do you think it's officially licensed? It looked like a knockoff to me, but I don't know. Thanks for watching!
Did they have a lot of toys there?😊
A few here and there.

Lol
So you did go inside okay I used to hit this one up every weekend when I live in Taunton
The flea market mascot looks surprisingly a lot like the honey nut Cheerios bee

Ha ha. Small world!
Looks like all toys and collectibles.
Was that smoke shop still in the far corner? Where they sell bongs and papers? Lol
That first video game booth you went to that's run by my man Matt all his prices are reasonable
Yes, the prices definitely seemed reasonable. Thanks for watching!
Was there a part 3 yet on the other half of rayhnham

Probably already mentioned but it was built as a Tennis Club in the 70s with a restaurant on the second level.
It was built and used as an indoor tennis facility.
Makes sense. Thanks for the info!
I always go to the little old Irish ladies booth all Celtic items

Happy Birthday Song 19:50
There was a male and a female Poppin fresh made by Pillsbury I have both of them with the stand
A female one? I didn't even know such a thing existed!
Just wanted to point out the exit doors should always open out ... If a crowd is trying to exit in an emergency they are going to push the doors closed trapping people inside
There's separate doors not shown( other side of girls selling candy) to exit.
@lookathisjunk8842 true but all door would be used in an emergency and are required to open out or be designed to push open
What was originally @ Raynham Flea Market was Grossman's.
So it was originally a supermarket. I think most other people were saying it was a tennis center first.
Did you get a fried dough???
Im going tomorrow..hopefully i always go to taco bell across the streets after

exit doors always push out. it's in the building code.
Even though I know that I still mess it up, every time lol
It’s somebody’s birthday😂
I hope so because that song playing over and over all day would drive me crazy!
It was a lumber store and it was a tennis club
Haven’t been there in forever

True.
Not when dealers are trying to juice you for big bucks for something you can get cheaper online.
It also helps to be able to inspect the item sometimes.
The doors push open from the interior of the building so people can easily get out in the event of a fire.
Hilarious all the negativity! Been there 12 years and my sales on sundays definitely say different lol
The phone with touchpad on the microphone was to allow tone dialing from older rotary phones. Tone-dialing was a billable premium line item on the monthly invoice. Thus began the American tradition of nickel and diming customers to death.
Man, I used to go there every Sunday with the family when I was a kid. I’m 35 now xD
Do you ever see auburn toys scott
Are those like old toy cars? If so, no.
Used to always go there. Nothing really ever changes. Overpriced junk and stuff that should be thrown away. Great videos though !

Nope.
Too bad you don’t live near me cause I’m getting rid of my Stephen king books
Doors push from inside to outside to avoid a pile of bodies in a fire.
Haven't been there in a couple decades.
Everyone wants retail prices.
Been here many times over the years. It used to be better.
I thought it was a dog racing track?
That was Taunton Flea.
Maybe you're remembering the Raynham Taunton Greyhound Park? Different location than this place.
If your looking for baseball cards you can find some decently priced ones. You have to know your prices.

I usually go Looking for Anime merch and Instruments :)

I thought Raynham Flee Market went under during the COVID-19 fiasco.
Nope they only closed for a few weeks. It’s open every Sunday!
Nope. They seem to be doing very well.

Actually, you should go back and do an eight hour video! Really zero in on the small items.
Maybe someday.
wow $15 was too much for complete in used condition? you are truly a frugal one.
The Sonic game? The condition was too rough for me.

Definitely not like how it was before Covid things definitely have changed
I’m supprized 1880’s stuff people actually collect that stuff?
You mean 1980s toys? If so, yes, a lot of people collect 1980s stuff, especially people my age that grew up in the 1980s.
eBay killed the Flea Market.
"social distancing" I think they mean 'physical distancing'. With social distancing you could not call someone on a phone.
That place is a toilet inside & out it's like you entered a trailer park!! & you shouldn't record little girls selling cookies it's creepy and wrong.
