Please NO MORE ROOKIE Head Coaches !!. They have had 3 rookie head coaches( Rolston , Housley, and Granato) during the playoff drought , enough is enough! Surely Adams can see he has to make the playoffs next season or he will be gone too , so bring in an experienced coaching staff.
Hire A veteran hardass coach who will hold players accountable and work them in training camp. Quennville, Ruff , Berube, Gallant, Evason or Boudreau would work for me .

Every Buffalo Sabres fan needed that John Tortrella " I mean this was a self inflicted method of coaching and Grantos message did not get through!" In order for a coach to gain respect of Athletes the Coach #1 first and most importantly has to be the Alpha the Leader he also has to show the players that they can trust the coach it can not constantly expect young players to Soak up so much and Boredem the Organization into a deep sleep " As far from what we have heard it going to take a Coach that's Leader of men " not a professor with a White bored that is looking down upon his peers!" BUFFALO Sabres accountability starts with the Head Coach"

Not Ruff he has his chance & it didn't work. We need a coach that's going to get these guys to rush the net, & shoot the puck. There's one thing that pisses me off when we have the power play, & that's when we get the puck & the puck handler has the opposing team behind him, he skates into their end, & instead of rushing the net & taking a shot, they STOP & try to pass the puck instead of shooting it & let your team mates go for the rebound if you don't score. All stopping does is let the opposing team catch up & set up THEIR defense. We need a coach like Brindamour, who will light a fire under their asses.

The Sabres need an “asshole” as head coach. They are soft. The place is a country club. They need to be held accountable. Somebody like a young John Tortorella. Old John Tortorella has gone mellow. Maybe Craig Berube. No Lindy Ruff please.

IMO the Sabres should've done more than fire Granato. They have problems in the front office as well. They ought to sell the team to someone who will restructure the front office, a better coaching staff and put a winning product on the ice. In other words a playoff calibre team that will be competitive. The Sabres deserve better than the clowns who are running the team. As of right now the Sabres are so bad, Melody Martin's beer league team can beat them.

Adams wants to chart his own path. I can't see him bringing back Ruff.
