It should be pointed out that he is taking other measures to sort the situation out. Francis is not paying the families so that the issues go away. He has offered compensation to the families involved, & there is a long road ahead of him to put right the wrongdoing of one of his staff members.

A private investigator should eliminate any other fears past clients may have when dealing with this cretin of a person,along with the Police. I'm sorry, but she should have the full wrath of the law book thrown at her for her despicable behavior. Pls let's give Francis & the team a chance to sort the matter out. These things take time & we already know how particular Francis is about getting things right. I have no hesitation of arranging my funeral with Francis. Francis and Kai ora are whanauhga of mine and very close too.Our tupuna will be guttered for them as we in PAWARENGA were bought up around tikanga and dealing with the deceased is something our tupuna taught us and also the importants of tapu(sacred).This sick lady has literally ran the last name of my tupuna through the mud.She is going to be very sick for the rest of her life.Stay strong korua and may you be guided by our many tupuna who have gone before us ❤❤

My heart and love goes out to all of the grieving families affected by the actions of this woman. For Francis and Kaiora Tipene to step up and try to make things right in offering the families compensation and support, is so lovely of them. Although they too were in the dark about what was happening behind closed doors, they are taking full responsibility and are willing to do whatever it takes to help the families receive justice and that's not just because they are the owners of Tipene funerals, it is because they are truly good people with big hearts and have always put the families they care for first and I hope they aren't dragged in the mud for something they didn't do or even know of. Fiona was more than an employee, she was their closest friend, an aunty to their children and someone they trusted, loved and respected. They too were victimized and hurt. But Bodies weren't placed in the proper linning bags that go inside a coffin when they're ready to be shipped over sea's or when the deceased is badly decomposed instead off doing this, seems she linned the coffins with rubbish bags and not the proper linning material, when the family opend the coffin they found their relative very decomposed Made me wonder about a relative that passed and was found weeks later, the funeral home in the wellington region said they had them in a special linning because off the smell, we could smell that stench from the front lawn perhaps they too used rubbish bags? 🤔 Note: bodies weren't placed in rubbish bags and disposed off the coffins were linned with rubbish bags

My Brother passed away 33years ago and Tipene funeral Home was recommended to us because of the Horrific Accident he had no one could identify him and they went through a lot to get in touch with his family and it happened om mothers day 33 years ago an uncle of ours whom he worked with in Auckland heard about the Accident on the news had a gut feeling it was him so went to the police station did some inquiry and yes it was him the Tipene whanau did an Awesome job on our brother the only thing was we couldn't dress him due to the injuries that was caused I still have faith in the whanau and if ever needed again we will surely go there Respect to this couple keep up the good work blessings to the Tipene whanau
They did my Gran mas funeral and service, they were amazing people with everything they helpd us get my nan buried on top of her husband 🙏, they literally made it happen 🙏, forever grateful too them. Doesn’t justify what they did here.

My papa passed away this year and his funeral director from Tipene (Tamale) performed an outstanding job. All of the arrangements from the first day until the burial day were expertly and professionally planned…I wholeheartedly recommend this home funeral to anyone who wants to use their service. Having said that, I feel sorry for the family who endured this problems.
Had my sister's funeral with Tipene funerals and was lovely they were very nice and it went down nicely. In saying this I have heard of this kind of disturbing stuff happening all around the world,those of you who think this type of nonsense doesn't happen,well it does more than you think!!! Actually during covid lost a loved one. Morgues provided to hold your deceased, not sure if they were in plastic bags. But 6 months and they did test again for covid, so restrictions funeral homes, maraes

My only one I would disagree with is Funeral Directors, the reason being is because some want to spend on a nice send off for their family member, to have someone handle the entire process for you whilst you're grieving is a wonderful thing.

I have had family members passing. Dealing with Tipenes funeral homes. We all have nothing but praises for Frances, Kiaora that made a Phanomenol experience for my whanau.

I agree with you, 2 days ago I was listening to an interview with the NZ herald reporter who started this, family had approached him because they believed it was being swept under the carpet....then all of a sudden Francis has hired a private investigator...that made me think and have doubts, if that was my family, I would speak up and show my face make a lot of noise...the family felt so embarrassed by what happened they were afraid to approach media, but eventually someone did...they must speak up so this crap will stop... disrespectful to the dead...it's heartbreaking

Actually during covid lost a loved one. Morgues provided to hold your deceased, not sure if they were in plastic bags. But 6 months and they did test again for covid, so restrictions funeral homes, maraes
