Solo Camping At A Remote Lean-To In Vermont - The Nearest Person Is A Mile Away

This is a different kind of adventure for me. Instead of a Vanlife trip, I camped in a tent with the Wolfeneer, my 2002 Mercury Mountaineer. I stayed in a Lean-To in a remote site. Though it is part of Coolidge State Park in Plymouth, Vermont, this particular site was over a mile from the main campground. You have to travel about .75 miles down a dirt road, then hike in another .1 miles to get to the camp site. No cell service, and more importantly, no people. I am really looking forward to doing this again.
