@TrolleyBrothers yes in my opinion propane burns copper cause ur taking longer to heat the fitting and I always burn the flux with regular propane mapp gas I had great luck
I do not work on dish washers, but I assume 140 degrees is a bit too much for them? I am really not sure though. You can choose another style mixing valve or pipe it like I did and just add a T before the valve.
I have the same mapp gas tourch I think it makes a better solder job !!!!
I agree, mapp gas is hotter than propane so it heats up quicker and works better.

If you want to have real hot water for your dishwasher (directly ) how do you get it? That type of mixing valve has one outlet only - the mixed.

Not any more than any other power vented water heater. Certainly electric would be silent in comparison.
