Rainbow Trout are my favorite to catch and cook here in the US. Those you have are huge compared to the streams I used to fish in. I would stuff them with crab meat and sautee them with butter and light olive oil. We have great blue crabs in the Chesapeake Bay area of Maryland and Virginia, so if NO fish were caught cakes were on the menu. You guys are totally awesome, I love your energy and the closeness of your relationship. I hope your ladies appreciate you. I would be right by you in the building of your home away from home but I know everyone needs their space. PS , Jaxx is your perfect equal for a pet.

My Grandfather taught me how to fish with ye old hand fishing rods!! Never had lures or fishing rods back in the day!! I'm female so he never let me learn to gut a fish!! We need to learn how to fish and gut it too even if we are females!! We have a right to learn how to fish and survive just as much as the next person!! So thankyou for your videos!! :-)!!

Pallet wood cabin idea: enlarge the area by the stove so that the water tap on the water jacket is convenient to use. The way you reach for the hot water works...but the G-Stove makers specifically warn: 'don't do that!' Anyway, my favorite fishing shows are where you and your dad team up for a 'catch and cook.' I pretended that the cabin was close to the water and enjoyed a 'typical' fisherman's breakfast along with the both of you. If your mom made the pastry for that 'pan au chocolat', you grew up LUCKY!
This, I think, will be interesting for a friend who loves fishing. Myself I follow your channel because you build amazing huts/camps from free materials. But I do love preparing and eating fresh fish 🐟
I love your videos! The ones with your dad are awesome. He reminds me a lot of my dad, though he wasn't much of an outdoorsman. He did however love building things and camping and these videos make me wish I had thought of things like this while he was still with us. Brook Eel is wonderful. Catch them in minor water/sea outlets around 5 feet long. have lots of newspaper to hand as they are slimy as hell. Once caught make a fire and while the embers are burning down, score the skin around the back of the eels head, grip with pliers and peal skin back to tip. cut into 2" segment and fry in butter until flesh is cooked, a little bread roll and a can of cider. Perfect!
Nice drone footage at the beginning. I love raw tuna as in sashimi and sush, and I'm a big fan of fried or grilled catfish as well as any good whitefish battered and fried up with fries(chips). I've never had scrambled eggs with fish, but I love scrambled eggs and potatoes too. I'm sitting here pulling an overnighter getting ready for work with a bottle of rum and you guys are making me so hungry...
