Mrs. James, I know that being in front of a camera is not your favorite thing to do but you have been a trooper and added so much to the channel. I have been subscribed for quite some time. I have enjoyed watching your husband work, create and teach. I have enjoyed his videos. However, there has always been something missing and that was you. Something really relaxing about this channel..think its the lifestyle of how we should all live.

"should" is kind of a strong word. Some would love this kind of life - for others it would be anywhere from uncomfortable to downright impossible. What I would suggest is that everyone find their own "comfort" place and work toward it, as both of these people did. It sure as he** didn't happen overnight.

I hope one day i have a chance to survive winter in a log cabin, I just with my cat, dog, and my family, we handmake anything, we put down the phone, we play snow and feel the environment. i very love your cabin thank for you share your life with us. for me, it is relaxing and makes me full of imagination.

I noticed as he was sawing those large milled boards back a forth, the dogs tail was in rhythm with the sawing, and when he stopped, the dogs tail stopped. Anyway, I wished I was there with them.
