Hunters don't rapidly and repeatably take shots at deer. One shot and done normally. So they don't have to worry about co2 decreasing on each shot because of getting cold.
Nice review. I've had my javelin for almost a year now. I use an adapter for smaller 16 g cartridges. About 8 powerful shots. I would take a deer with it, within 25 yds, 85 gr. Broadhead. When it's cold, I keep my hand on the cartridge periodically ,to keep it warm. Thanks for sharing
Co2 cools off the vavle as you shoot... Shoot one after the next and velocity will drop with each shot. Give a minute or so between shots to prevent the valve from cooling off and you will maintain consistent velocity.
I would Mark the bolt that shoots low to see if it's shooting constantly low then you'll know if you have a bad bolt, great shooting as always Angie 😉👍👍
I live in Illinois so I can relate! I just wrap a large size chemical hand warmer around the co2 bottle (I use a Velcro strap) and you will actually have above average power in the winter. It really is cool using co2 in the winter with110% power.
Angie I love your channel. And I wanted to see a review of this after watching this I’ve got to have one . Live on a farm with tons of wild hogs . I would just love to pin one to a tree with this . Thanks for the great review be safe
Bought mine a month ago and I love it, I preferred the peep over the dot sight, using the peep I stacked three arrows in a group the size of a nickel, doing that though cut the vanes on the first two shots lol was worth it though seeing how accurate it is. Very happy with this purchase although I will be looking into an adapter so I can shoot hpa during the winter
Friend of mine killed a deer two weeks ago at about 35 yards. He used an 85 grain solid broadhead. Arrow went right through. I would not recommend mechanical broadcasts.
CO2 is very temperature sensitive, the velocity decreases as temperature decreases. Whenever a compressed gas is rapidly released, the temperature of the cylinder drops. Therefore, whenever you rapidly take repeated shots, the velocity and power of a CO2 powered projectile will drop, and accuracy will suffer accordingly.
I just had shoulder surgery, can’t pull a bow right now. Don’t think this is what I need but at least now I know. Thanks for the info AA great review.
May you heal up perfectly and quickly!

Almost splitting those arrows Angie! I would love to try this arrow gun. Looks like so much fun. Thanks for the demo!

What's really great about the Air Javelin, next to it's performance is the price!

Thank you!!
The only issue I see is that it is CO2 & that gas does not work well here in Mo. in the wintertime when I would be out hunting with it

I gave made my last two purchases based on your review! Thanks
The PVT relationship of a gas would come into play taking shot after shot.
Thanks for pointing that out.
10/4! 😉

Your support is much appreciated! You are very welcome! For bigger hogs you may want to check out the Air Saber, it's got a bit more power.
I like the sec and phrase in the title 😮🔥🔥🔥
I love mine i take rabbit and wild turkey with it.
Great video and review thanks for sharing.
Great video! Wait until you shoot the saber! It’s an awesome air gun!👍🏻🇺🇸
Thank you, I hope I get the chance to check out the Saber.
Great video Angie. Ill have to put it on the list 💪
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. How long is your list? 😉

It kills deer easily!!
Cool 😎
Convert to HPA. You'll have way more consistency in FPS
Definitely glad to hear that it's smooth and easy to cock. I was curious about that.
Great review!~
Thank you, so glad you enjoyed it!
Would love to know if you can rig for bow fishing. Live on a lake that has large Gold fish
I'm not sure, I think it is possible.
I think we need to see a ln armadillo hunting vid lol.
I think so too 😁

Thanks for the explanation. :)
Anyone know if you can use the Jts cartridges? 90 gram? Amazon sent me a few of these when i ordered several boxes of 12 gram co2.
Here before Timmy. Lol.
Uh OH Tim...he's right. 😉😊
Has anyone else kill a pig with one
Not sure if I got a junk gun but I think mine is useless. Very disappointed

ELECT Larry Elder governor of California on September 14, 2021!!
People take elk with recurve bows that only put out 30 ftlbs of energy so yeah you can take deer all day
