I’ve heard white people with NO relevant experience and education or even having a past as a plumber being put in higher salary positions than Indians etc. Crazy! Being white in these countries is a BIG BONUS for no other reason than being white.
Salary info should be transparent in the sense that there`s no humongous difference between you and another employee doing the exact same thing in the same company. But unfortunately, it`s the story in UAE. Where you`re from, decides how much salary you`re gonna get even though you do the same thing as another employee with the same title AND in the same team and that difference is huge!!! What I`m saying is, there should be a range of salary for a particular position in a given organization regardless of where you`re from and what your nationality is, because you both are going to work and live in the same country. I have had one interview with a company for a position. They had mentioned an amount in the vacancy advertisement and when I asked them for that amount by the end of the interview, they literally asked me for my nationality and then they told me since I`m not from a given region, they cannot offer me that amount and significantly reduced the amount that they were gonna give me, which was total bullshit!
Very insightful! :)) It’ll also be v.v helpful if you could cover salaries related to architecture/ construction industry.. since construction is booming in Dubai!
Emirates has a salary tier range, when I joined years ago, we know the salary range for different positions, as they were grouped into different grade, so it is transparent.
i am form China working in an cement construction company monthly salary 8000AED per six month have one month vocation. company pay include airtickets eating living cost 😅😅😅
Hello Twinkle, nice content on salaries. Thanks for this video :) I work in tech in Sweden since past 12 years and thinking to plan for Dubai, would love to get some insight on job market and salaries. TIA
Any idea how much does an IT Product owner make? As per some sources they say a PSPO certified product owner makes 25000 AED a month on an average, is this authentic?
Kinda demeaning to look for men purely on the basis of how much they can make for you. But this video is good to know of the salaries offered ( more for Europeans, less for Asians - another discrimination no one talks about )
Great Video! Can anyone tell me, how much salary can you expect for a Data Scientist with 1- 2 years of experience?. Also, how difficult is it to get one?. Which is the best month to apply for the job?. Thank you.
After considering working in Dubai, I would rather live in Australia. The Dubai salaries are not that high or enticing considering the weather conditions
No it’s not. If she makes more money than the guy he WILL be insecure and find ways to make himself feel better (starting arguments, putting her down or cheating). It is best a woman gets with a man who makes the same as she does or more. She should not marry a guy who makes less it never works even if she has good intentions and doesn’t flaunt her higher salary.
I still don’t understand the logic of why westerners get paid more even when the job is done equally by both. This is something uae has been quite for long time. Time to move out from such inequalities.

it depends on the company. some ask for experience alone while some ask for experience working in the GCC or the respective country you're applying to.
Hi, I am french ans i am new in Dubai. I am looking a HR Role... I figured out that is jobs which are mostly dedicated to Asian communities as such they accept low salaries like 5000dhaed or less even if they have a bachelor's degree. Do you think as a French I could compete and find a job paid at least the double ?
@@Marocalicious131 you can, first you need a professional certificate related to HR and then most importantly strong at recruitment and retention; no one can beats an HR able to close all roles for the company without using agencies and able to close all niche roles requested by HM( hiring manager);
