Wow we are all broke when you look at the prices of everything.
I remember when bread used to be 20 cents for a whole loaf!
If you divide everything by five does it looks similar to the 70s
@djpuplex. We are also soft and entitled. No one is starving… be thankful for what you have
Hell yeah..😂
@sandtoy11510 The problem is that about 14 million children are food insecure in the US. So I would not say that no one is starving.
The census statistics say the household income is like 71,000 so the median income is like 35,000. So idk where people get these 50k+ average incomes from
@@MaXiMoS54 my wife works at a school so not paid a lot
Well a bunch of people making very high 6 figure incomes can raise that median income really high but a big difference 1 person making 35 and 1 person making 100k really cranks up that median
@@gritty011You're thinking of mean.
We can be pretty sure that people who follow this channel have a higher than median household income.
Around $60k living in NY, 23 years old. This is my first full-time job.
Does 60K feel like enough in New York?
@@ProudMoney it feels like enough because I am living with my parents and I have a decent amount of savings. Can’t speak for others.
FYI...Many don't want to hear such true stats concerning salary...
Yep. The truth isn’t always pretty.
39 Asian at 73k in a lower cost of living state. Easy to live on comfortably as long as I don't make a bunch of foolish financial decisions.
107k 40 mexican higher cost of living feel like breaking even and no foolish purchases
I work half time, 80 hours per MONTH, earn $335K remotely frlm the Philippines as a diagnostic radiologist doing teleradiology.
The powers that be want you to forget what the difference between medean and mode. The mode income in america is closer to $20,000
Great video buddy 👍🏽👍🏽
And yeah his channel is geared to well to do people and trying to up their egos
I live in California. I make 135k after taxes, pention, benefits and 5% retirement Im only keeping 60% of my checks 😅
So these are individual incomes, not household incomes? They seem high for median individual incomes.
Edit: I forgot you mentioned location, someone in CA needs more to live the same lifestyle as someone in the south or Midwest.
How am I so under paid I HAVE A great job and a college degree????
Railroader, 120k
35 with Bachelor degree, making about $125,000, including overtime and incentived and holiday bonuses.
BIG PHARMA Scams? 😂
I’m in the top 25% as an RN…. But I live in California…. So it feels like I’m the bottom 25% 🫠🫠🫠🫠
If I made the total comp I do now only 10 years ago, I'd be living like an absolute king.
Do these numbers take into account the professions each are in? That would be interesting… thanks.
Some of those jobs get paid cash and don’t report it
Is this based on total compensation including bonuses or just the salary?
Is this gross or net?
I’m pretty sure gross
@@aosaa1368 oh wow
very good
I reside in the DMV metro area (DC/MD/VA) in the 7th wealthiest county in the U.S. My annual gross salary is a little over $170K and due to the cost of living here, trust me when I say it is NOT enough! 😅
Same here sister!
Making $170k down here in Florida, you will would be able to live extremely comfortably, like a king/queen, but not so much not in some parts of Miami and Orlando though.
I don't make salary and neither does have the Americans so I don't know where they're getting their numbers cause I only make half that s***. And I make decent money.
What’s decent money to you?
When referencing salary, people are typically referring to annual income. So it’s still applicable.
Well, goodness, after seeing this I feel I’m being underpaid
Black female living in NY. (Bronx) base salary $73,641 made 127,000K with Overtime and lawsuit money in 2023 I have a Masters degree have 10 years experience
Your broke... lol NYC $127k you barley above water..
Girl if you don't knock it off! 😂😂
Well I'm clearly well above top 10% even with Age and higher educational level. Well done
Oh great.. Warren Buffett and Bill Gates are the bell curve. That was the verbiage you were looking for with middle/high school math. Dang smart kids. :)
Damn im average with the asians..😂😂
Huh
It's called Bidenomics. Just ask Kamala Harris.

Well I’m broke
Hmm im right on point. Im 34 asian singo at 65k salary. With bonuses 75k-85k.
Do you get taxed in USA or are you another HB1 Work visa taking our jobs?☹️
These numbers don't usually reflect bonus or stock options as those aren't actual reported salary.
I’m a computer technician and make as much as transportation and material handling whatever that is
This just really bums me out. I technically am above average for my age I guess, but as far as average for men and especially college educated men I’m so far behind. 😂
Great content as always, thanks Adam!!!
👍🏻
Look I know people in those fields it’s way off so I would not take this to heart and maybe do local research I think he is way off not sure of his credibility for statistics is
$102.000 in CA lucky no car payments and going to call it at the end of 2025...:)
I’m still figuring out this 87k for college educated people I’m nowhere close to
If you studied gender studies or some crappy career, you never will
@@fb-gu2er I’m a pc tech for a large company
@@fb-gu2er wait your probably that guy who calls me at 5 am Monday morning crying and begging me to reset the password they just set Friday because 2 days is just too long to remember 20 characters
@@fb-gu2er I’m just messing around
@gritty011 I worked a help desk. I hated the Monday rush of idiots who couldn't remember their passwords over the weekend. They were always rude as hell too.
Hispanic here. California . Gross 99k.
160K as a data engineer. And I am leaving my current company, not making enough. Shooting for 200K

hispanic. accountant. Man. California. 101K
California so that 100k is more along the lines of 50-65 dependent on location.
