Love it! Super recept, dekuji! ❤️ Jsem v Australia, takze jsem to zkousela s hladkou moukou. Priste zkusim self-raising
This looks fabulous. I was scared to try the potato version but this looks great!!
ya and in this recipe I'm using buckwheat flour coz I have gluten free diet but just turn very well and tasty as you mentioned 😘
+Hani Lutovska That is great to hear that they are tasty even gluten free! Thank you for letting me know! :)
Is the Paprikas recept coming soon? Looking forward to it.
Yes, I have it all measured out. I just need to perfect one more thing. I hope to record it this week or next week. :)
Nice recipe, that batter is absolutely silky smooth but this looks a lot like spaetzle or haluskami or nokedli.
This is how we make gnocchi in our family. :)
Fair enough. The only reason I mention it is for You Tube searches. If someone was looking for any of those three, this recipe deserves to be in the results. Especially with that Wondra Flour tip, nobody has ever mentioned that. Vsetko Dobry.
:) Dekuji Cyril
Best ever,our new nokki.
Try it with crout and meat or just real bacon pieces !
Podobne chlupatym knedlikum :-)
Yay! I am glad you liked it. :)
Looove your channel..o ly just found it... i live in the uk ,can i use self raising flour?? Cant wait to make it tonight 😊
Thank you ☺️ Try to find polish store with flour called Krupczatka. It needs more grainy / coarse flour than all purpose or self rising. 😊
@czechcookbook I'll look in Tescos polish section or just have to wait till tomorrow and go to the polish shop... we have loads of then around
@@czechcookbook thank you
hiiiiiii there just love your chanel, I learned so many things, but there's question though 😀 how to heat up gnocchi if I want it warm? just made it but I didn't use it all so I put it on the fridge and I want to use it Later, thank you and have a nice time
+Hani Lutovska I warm them up same way like dumplings in a steamer. Here is the video: www.czechcookbook.com/how-to-preserve-and-steam-dumplings-jak-zamrazit-a-naparit-knedle/ :)
What is wondar flour?
Wondra flour is sold in USA and it is more coarse flour, which is perfect to use.
I come from Italy and actually the word "gnocchi" is prounced like it would be written in Czech as " Ňókki"
Thank you for letting me know. I tried to do some research before hand how to pronounce it right, but it looks like this is how Americans pronounce it. But I really appreciate you pointing out how it is authentically pronounced in Italy. :)
czechcookbook yeah, probabily because the palatized n does not exists in English and they came up to a more comfortable pronunciation but in this case the group "gn" in Italian and the letter " ň" in Czech have the same sound.
Can you make these ahead of time? How do you store them for later in the day to eat?
You can put them in a Tupperware and keep in the fridge. They will last for about 5 days. To warm them up you would steam them.
Hi I notice you use wondra flour in a lot of your recipes. I am in Australia and we don't have have that here or all purpose flour. Is there something special in the wondra flour like baking powder? We have plain flour or self raising flour. Thanks Denisa:-)
Wondra is also called instant flour. Some people in Australia that cooked my recipes said there is a flour as Wondra in Australia called Continental Flour Tipo 00. If you find it and try it please let me know if it worked. ;) All purpose flour is just regular plain flour. :)
Ok great thanks:))
Can i make it with plain flour? In Argentina we don,t have wondra 😕
These look like mini dumplings. My grandmother made her dumplings by scoops. Does it taste like dumplings?
It is more dense. Dumplings are fluffier. But both very delicious! These gnocchi are very buttery. :)
I live in New Zealand and I want to make this but theres no Wondra flour in here. What alternative flour that I can use, please..NZ is close to Australia.
Laila Buracova in Australia people would use this flour instead. Continental flour, any brand. I hope you can find it in NZ.
All this time I though they were made from potatoes ! Guess they could too,but I'm gonna try urs with paprikac :-)
Honem honem
I do have a recipe for potato dumplings too. ;) But I love paprikac with these noky.
is it really impossible to use normal all purpose flour instead of wondra??
BearSugarx You can always try it. ;) But I don't think it will be the same. It might be too sticky.
I tried it with AP flour.I'm sure the texture was different, but they were still great. Some people use farina(Cream Of Wheat) ground in the food processor as a substitute.
What type of milk do you use? 2%?
+Timothy Breeding I usually use 2%, but you can use any you have available. :)
What kind of flour do I need?
Where are you from? If you live in USA, you will have to buy Wondra flour. If not, you will need more course flour than all purpose flour.
+czechcookbook z Česka tak Prosím jakou mouku
+smoky polohrubou nebo hrubou. Mamka dělava spis z polohrubé. Ať se podaří.
