Theo is not afraid to show his ignorance. Always willing to ask and learn. I love it.
It’s not ignorance, it’s humbleness
@@firestarterfernie Its ignorance to ask if teachers go to college.

If Dave gets Theo to invest his cash, this conversation is worth tens of millions to Theo lol
When you look and act like Theo you’re not sure if he’s joking or not so it would be rude to laugh.
The fact Dave & his team recreated theo’s setup is just so wholesome

Never mind ....Dave re recreated theo studio...got it

Oh thats what they did wow i didnt catch that

Dave Ramsey on Theo’s podcast was not on my bingo card but I’m here for it.
It’s a pleasure to watch at first I clicked saying I can’t wait to watch this dumpster fire but this is next level insightful knowledge
Fan of both for very different reasons. I never would’ve seen this coming
Awww … whether you love him or hate him, Dave is known to be a conservative Christian. There was not a single f-bomb uttered from Theo in the entire episode. It just proves his respect and emotional empathy for all his guests. Love you, Theo!
Crazy because this Ramsey guy has bankrupted families
Indeed. Praise God.
Wouldn't you be afraid of GD more instead of fuck?
Ill be honest, as a believer myself i honestly dont care so much on the language others use, it bothers me more about content or what is said. But still i get you, cool to see the influence
@@NSER164 it’s not so much Influence as it is respect. People know that Christians aren’t supposed to curse so it’s a very respectful thing for Theo to abstain from it, when he had no obligation or expectation too. I’m very impressed by it

@meatball6930 pretty sure he’s talking about his “debt snowball” video , had to watch this guy for a course / class I’m taking. I don’t really like this guy to be honest he seems like a grifter playing the long game but if it works for this guy and others I say go for it dude 🤷🏻♂️

Dave’s lessons changed my life completely - got out of massive debt real fast and built wealth - happened all in 8 years and I can’t thank him enough for the wake up call advice he gives.
I’ve been wanting Rogan to sit down with Dave for years I never thought Theo would would come to my rescue thanks Theo GANG

I’m glad he did. They’re kinda from the same neck of the woods too so the conversation just flowed. And who knew Theo was a deep thinking man? Great interview, love both these guys.
There’s an alternate universe out there where Dave Ramsey is a pastor of a church in Tennessee and Theo Von is the youth pastor.
Lololo, I can see it.
fuck this is too true

If this was a Rick and Morty episode lol
In that alternate universe Dave Ramsey would still be battling multiple legitimate lawsuits. Dave Ramsey and the Lampo Group are not what people think they are. The moment he refused to initially fire Hogan his fate was sealed.
Theos podcast just may be the most positive American thing on the internet
Nah theo really is putting America on his back. Its incredible man

Underrated comment right there. Hope all these podcasters know how important they are to the average working class
You aren’t watching the right podcasts
Yea it’s just really incredible to me that he’s willing to sit down with such a wide variety of people and really talk to them. It’s not like rogans podcast where he shares too many of his opinions, Theo only cares about the opinions of the guest and doesn’t really care to debate them. The only thing of that sort Theos podcast does is shine a light on the real problems the American people face. Otherwise is just really fun and informative show for everyone. He’s doing everything right.
Dave Ramsey is what every American family needs. They used to teach these things in high school.

I started listening to Dave in 1999. He is one of the main reasons why I am in the great financial situations I am in today.
Me too! Thanks Dave!!
When he says that lie people tell, and steal people's hope, that's exactly how I went about my life thinking about being successful, rich, having a house, because of the delusion of how we see millionaires, and it blew my mind just now. Im 37, just now got my life back and in Gods hands. But I still see my success in the future of having the home and a savings seems very low because of being told no one can make it at certsin ages. Or without a degree. So, I keep going and it's all I can do. But not sure if at 37 with no degree, it's ever possible to get there.
@@wastedanalogues8991Nah, you got this! Just start now, it gets harder as time goes by.
You've got 25 years to 62 years old early retirement. Just figure out how you can adjust your income and/or spending to get your annual personal savings rate up to 25% of your income. Invest it in something like a total stock market index fund or the S&P500, then come age 62 you'll have enough invested to live off just the interest. When your money makes more money than you do, that is true financial independence.
Follow the 4% rule from that point on and you'll have more cash flow in retirement than you have your working years.
25% invested 25 years at 10% return (S&P500 average) will replace 82% of your income with a 4% withdrawal rate. Remember you're used to budgeting for 75%, so that's a 7% raise your first year of retirement. You should be able to give yourself around a 3% raise to keep up with inflation without drawing down your principal either. Pretty cool.
Huge Dave fan here
10 yrs for me!
Dave Ramsey's "Financial Peace University" was the BEST unintentional marriage counseling. My husband and I grew up with completely different views on money. Caused much strife early in our marriage. Friends invited us to attend FPU at their house. We commited to "debt snowball" and paid off $47k in 15 mo. We both worked and continued on baby steps. Then covid hit and our employer issued mandate. Because we had emergency money we were able to figuratively say "F off, you're not making me take that Vax." That was in 2022. Super stressful but we used what we leaned from Dave Ramsey to move on and create a new life in a new area with new careers (in our 40s!). Forever grateful to ya, Dave!
this is the best story!!!! he literally saved your life!
Theo is the only person to ever tell Dave that he sold hamsters outside a rave as one of his first jobs.

My parents made me watch Dave Ramsey when I was a teenager. Now because of it I have avoided very many bad financial decisions.

What part of it is obsolete @@Roberto-de8xv? I get some of the arguments that there may be better ways to do things, but i don't see what is actually obsolete...
@Roberto-de8xv i used his guidelines to get out of debt and have an emergency fund. It's definitely not outdated, or i wouldn't have been able to get debt free.
I have seen one video of him and he didn't know the differences in IULs and other permanent life insurance policies. That is one of the first things you will get, if suitable, when you consult with a financial advisor.

@hunterconway4992 Found the broke guy.
@hunterconway4992ok you could argue the baby step 1 should be $2k instead of $1k, it’s ok to get a 30 year mortgage instead of a 15, and taking out the smallest student loan available for a degree with a large ROI probably is ok. Otherwise it’s all still very good advice, very applicable to the modern age. You’d be better off following it than not. What part is a joke? I thought about what a simple minded comment that was when he said it. He’s good at telling people how to get out of debt but it seems like he misses the point of life a lot of the time. Pressure cleaning and other jobs like it are perfectly respectable, even lucrative lifetime careers.
He’s literally just telling you how rich people make more money. He’s not saying if you’re comfortable with your job and position in life that you’re a loser. Just that you probably won’t make as much money.
Why do you feel attacked?
@@MentalBlockM He's not saying that it's not a respectable job - it just shouldn't be a lifetime career. Make and save enough money to buy a second pressure washer - now you're not jut a pressure washer, you're an employer making more money and employing someone that needs a job. More importantly, they are merely examples that anyone can understand and shouldn't be taken literally. "Pressure washer" could have been exchanged for anything else that has a relatively low company start up cost, can make you money, and expand into something more lucrative if you spend/invest your money wisely.

I love this! Isn’t he so kind? That’s what I noticed when meeting him is that he’s the real deal. He’s genuinely kind. Confident in what he does and knows but is kind.
Who?
21 y/o with a BS working 3 jobs not because I have to, but because I'm determined to prove others my age wrong, and because I never lost hope that hard work makes dreams come true
Amen!
Keep at it! Dont burn out and stay hustling
Don't let life flash by ..there are more important things.
@@MS-ey3lb what is worth it it life and what isn’t is all perspective. there’s no one size fits all to happiness for people. everyone is different
too many ppl give up/think it's not doable/never try. you will win
The collab we never knew we needed
They both stay in Nashville! Pretty dope!
“…Cleaned out wishing wells. We had a plethora of wishing wells in our parish”
😅 Dave just straight faced that whole bit too 😂
The fact he used that parish line had me dying
We have parishes in Louisiana rather than counties.
LMAO LIKE WHY 😂😭

I so appreciate Ramsey validating that it is okay to expect people to keep up; we ask that of ourselves and of our partners
I just recently discovered Ramsey and have been fully down the rabbit hole. What a treat!
Dave: Rice and beans
Theo: Back home we had a kid that had a t-shirt made outta rice and beans
Love
Careful, lil dicky might steal that joke.
dude i’m 22. i love dave ramsey. THANK YOU THEO
Ur blessed to have found him at your age. As a 37 year old, I wish I would have had the discipline and plan Dave lays out (and actually followed it).
@@MansterBearit's never too late
@@kingjoseph5901 oh yea I know. I’ve been following Ramsey for a while. Soon we’ll be down to 1 car loan, 1 student loan (about $20k each) and our house.
So we’ve paid off credit cards, personal loans, and will have one car done in the next couple months.
Just wish I would have found him at 22 and never had the car loans and personal loans lol
Dave is a great American hero, thanks for having him on! More people have followed his plan to building wealth successfully than anyone since Jack Bogle brought popularity to index funds.
One of the SMARTEST dudes, giving the best advice for YEARS… AND Dave Ramsey!! 🤯
Didn't expect to see you here. Chale!
You need to call out mma guru
Om so freaking glad you got dave on here, I've been hoping this day would happen. He's changed my life and so many others, I remember hearing that ramsey show jingle on the radio at my grandma's every morning growing up!
That trauma expert episode,
Made me realize I needed help. Thank you Theo!
That episode was amazing
Every Fri tim aka trauma guy makes new content..
Such a great episode!

So funny Theo asked about Paul Harvey. I grew up hearing him as my grandma listened to him all the time. Funny thing is, when I hear Theo reading some of his sponsored ads the way he reads them reminds me of Paul Harvey. :)
I grew up listening to Dave on the radio. I love his voice and his advice has helped me and my family immense amounts.
Holy crap! Just started this and I'm so excited. He's helped me and so many people I know.
Dave Ramsey on Theo Von is the wildest double take I’ve ever had looking at a thumbnail
Same lol
Loved this conversation! My husband and I have changed our entire financial situation because of Dave. 💙 💙💙
All of Dave’s Southern sayings are keeping Theo in this one. I laughed out loud whenever Theo was talking about the nude coffee shop and Dave said “well, I don’t know how we got there.” 😂🤣
