It's become a habit of mine to look at the opponent's side because I'm sure to see "counter hit" 50 times when DSP is playing. It takes a special amount of copium and absence of skill to lose to completely new players using throw loops and neutral jumps.

@@demisagoat Exactly. I only got into fighting games because of this game's modern controls, and even I would whoop him because he tries to spam buttons while in the middle of a block string. It's become a habit of mine to look at the opponent's side because I'm sure to see "counter hit" 50 times when DSP is playing.
It takes a special amount of copium and absence of skill to lose to completely new players using throw loops and neutral jumps.

to be fair to Phil, there was nothing he could do. Ken beats everything he can do. phil had no options and the game wont give him his moves. everything is safe.

That Ken clearly backs up out of Phil's range @4:51. I am a SF layman and even I can see that this Ken was clearly aware of what move Phil would try next and reacted accordingly.
That is DSP's main problem. He refuses to understand that his attacks are so obvious to most people that it's easy to avoid or counter.

ken flowchart is a SF4 meme because of how the character played. Ken is very strong in SF6, but far from flowcharty like phil thinks. phil doesnt go into training mode to learn match ups and lets people get away with stuff. also dsp cannot react to the opponent well enough. so he will happily rage and claim online scrubbery despite never realising his own mistakes
