Whenever I hear Excelblem pronounce Knook as K'nook I just think:
"In chapter 5 of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones but my units are chess pieces, Gilliam gets enough level ups to finally promote. I choose to have him gain Knight Movement instead of Bishop movement because it lets him hop onto terrain he normally can't move through as a Rook. Unfortunately, this also means he's now Canadian which brings out the raging hatred of Canada in the army as they can barely hide their disdain for having to ally with a Canoock."
So who's the final boss, stockfish?
missed opportunity not to have castling be just the reposition skill but rescue is a fine alternative
I think on that final map you might have had a chance if you deployed Seth and Gilliam near the bottom of the map and had them jump over the wall on the lower right (maybe baiting the armor/lance in that room with another knight), allowing them to rush over to help Ephraim by turn 3.
I haven't fully through that through just yet sot hat might not be enough/fast enough, and it makes protecting Erika much harder, but you have a lot of bishops/pawns to sac over there as fodder.
Was a fun stream, the bit with the mine was great, don't blame you if you want to move on though.
I agree. Having a Knook rescue Ephraim and moving him to Eirika's crew guarantees his safety, the initial enemies to the north can be taken out with 2 knights and 1 rook, and cleaning up and/or stalling the initial enemies to the north-west with bishops/pawns if need be. It's certainly fast enough to keep both kings safe at the beginning.
