The clothing of Richter is the same, but in this versions he is more of a gentleman, the original artwork has ripped off sleeves and used a Ryu-esque bandana to look more like a macho-man hero. If you observe the artwork (not the sprite, because it was a placeholder and never changed to the final version that is more similar to this 3D model) of Richter on SotN, you can see that this costume (Rondo’s) is congruent with the one in SoTN (no ripped off parts , long hair because of the years that passed, and yes, the exactly same smelly clothes)... 🤔 Edit : Ah, and you can see another example of this when you fight against the Werewolf and Minotaur in the Colosseum, there, Richter, has also the right sprite.
I gotta be honest the design of dracula in this game is my favorite in the franchise, it’s not too over the top, and he gets the right amount of intimidations in my opinion, and Patrick Seitz as Dracula in the game really works imo.

I think Rondo (or the remake here) in conjunction with Symphony were a really good final character arc for Dracula, Alucard and the Blemonts. It could have ended with these two games and been fine.
Because I love pixel(but quality) graphics, I would love to see a mod of the original Rondo of Blood that includes all the added conditionals and stuff that was put in the remake version. Making Annette more of an actual part of the plot with her showing up as a boss. Making the ghost of Shaft able to prevent you from completing the game(and True Dracula). Also the endings need to be changed. There does not exist an ending for Richter in which the castle gets destroyed....
I really like this form of Dracula and his old attack: teleporting to another spot of the room then hurls Fireballs or Dark Plasma Balls at our hero using his cape. You have seen Dracula do that a lot of times in this series. (5:36) It begins.
Just curious, will any of your boss runs involve some PS2 stuff? Or just PSX and older? Cause there are two games I'm guessing you'd like. But if it's going to do tricks like that, why not just have the entire stairway to the keep be missing? Dracula could just sit up there laughing until the latest Belmont gets bored and wanders off. They'd be unable to reach him. Only Alucard could get up there. Dracula may also want to consider having the castle lack an entrance. Why let the Belmont in?
Dracula Needed those stairs to walk there comfortably like I said, it's trying to look natural by having those stairs destroyed from after the first fight. it's quite clearly set up in the game that "Oh here's the stairs to dracula's room in the prologue but now they're gone!" and Richter has abilities to go around that problem in the prologue *Down Up jump does a super jump attack sort of thing doing this repeatedly is able to get you there without the use of the stairs*
He can do that in SOTN but I don't think he can do that in the other games he's in. Also, Dracula doesn't need to walk. He can turn into a bat. Or mist. Or teleport. He has literally no use for stairs. Or doorways for that matter. He isn't even barring the main castle entrance... I think he's just bored and wants to fight.

I wish there's an SOTN remake that is in a souls difficulty
Yeah, me too! Doesn't even need to be a real "remake" TBH, a good quality "remaster" with added hard modes would be good for me!
The Nintendo DS SOTN-style Castlevania games have hard modes, do check those out if you haven't. My personal favorite is Order of Ecclesia.
SOTN is pretty much already a Souls game though
Симфонию ночи напоминает местами.
Stone Cold Steve Austin: WHAT?
Dracula: WHAT?
2D side scrolling games are the best
I don't understand why Dracula would build that stupid castle with so many stairs...he can fly, and he is not a hotel manager
Just to wait for any Belmont visiting him and says "Die monster you don't belong in this world" then together they play.
in the end konami can show dark priest shaft give the castle to Richter and many years after Alucard appearing in the main gate.
The graphics are good with the pace of this game was absolutely terrible it didn't have the speed of Rondo of Blood
the game is awesome and the Voice acting is great but, I feel like i should leave it on Japanese just so i can hear Norio as Dracula.
Sun Kim who voiced Dracula here??
Norio Wakamoto is the jp voice
@@elisabethacronqvist7859 Patrick Seitz in english voice
I like the english because of DIOcula

7:15 *Muy divina con su última transformación pero al final le dejaste los labios mayores bien abiertos.*
Knights sound like Bison from street fighter X3
Asura Saitoh huh?
Im miss this game 😭
He need Van Helsing to kill that Dracula
And this time dracula die frorever rip konami
Not really, as now they are just focusing on bad remasters
I wish they would do a remake for SOTN with such graphics
