The most versatile character, in my opinion. Not only use white weapons, like swords and whips, but firearms as well. Also, collect souls that help him against the monsters.

The run was never meant for speed (or memes because of 4:20 time), but Devil never actually crossed my mind when doing the run. I was too busy worrying about Abbadon to even use Devil.

How to make your basic attack so fast?

There are two main methods of attacking fast.
Jump Cancels require the user to jump and attack, and when they land, the landing animation overwrites the attack animation. This works for short swords and knives.
Backdash cancels require the user to backdash, crouch, then attack again, and works with all main weapons. If you just backdash, then you cannot backdash until the weapon’s animation completes.

@@nolepgamer8644 You can in all three of the DS games and HD. It’s still relevant in PoR, but in OoE, the game mechanics change enough so its uses become more limited. As for HD, that’s not on my table yet, so I don’t have much for it

If you’re talking about the weapon I used, it was the final upgrade for Katanas, I believe the Muramasa, upgraded with a Malacoda soul I believe.
The loadout was pretty linear, with Axe, Buer for Abaddon, and whatever Yellow Soul woild benefit me the most, well, from my playthrough, it was the Golem. Trusty Golem.

Should be the Yasutsuna, the final upgrade to the Katana weapon type.
For souls, it was Buer 9/9, Axe Armor, and Golem.
