That Aaron Hicks game saving catch to end it in one of the greatest games of the year should have been at least top 3.

@@michaelviner2289 100% agree, he went way over the wall and made a great leap to catch it, stuck the landing too. i also think that hick's play should at least be in the top 5, he came flying in and the ball was tailing away from him too

How is this important? Assuming each team plays at least 9 innings, equals 27 possible plays. Multiply that by 162 which results in 4,374 possible plays. That's just one team. Times 32, equals 139,968 possible plays every year in MLB. This is the Top 100 plays! amazing!

  • @vincentdefilippi8824

Forget about the situation on Hicks play .Just the play itself is the number play of the year he is running top, top full force speed dive’s at the last second throws his body out and knows he is going to land on the dirt warning track and possible slam arm’s stretched out and his head subjected to slamming into wall probably if so breaking at least one arm and possibly fracturing his neck ! If you you look at the highlights there was only one other outfield that made almost a similar catch it was the Toronto outfield which was a fantastic catch also, but he is not even close to warning track and his dive was not even as fair as Hicks along with him landing on nice comfortable grass compared to Hicks landing body and face straight into the dirt . No doubt catch of the year again period !
