A very well made and interesting documentary. I liked it but I'm more surprised this channel is so small for such documentary. I'll gladly check out all other videos.

Just find it fascinating, the camera angle is so accurate and sharp. I thought nobody really cared about such symbolical details of Chinese community, but apparently I am wrong, especially when that young lady of non profit organization talk about espionage, fake civilizations and ‘tell the china story well’. Good job! Compliment from me who just escaped China the prison.😂

There are strong reasons why PRC Government implemented iron-hand policy towards their citizens.

    well.. what can I say...
1st. going back to the 1850s to the 1910s - 2 million Italians went to New York.
set up little italy, weren't interested in assimilation. (the chinese were there too)
Some Italians brought organized crime to America, broke the laws, scammed the system and murdered their way through the 20th century. La Cosa Nostra is an American italian concept.
    the mafia is Italian.
many Italian immigrants well should I say almost all of them came to America , many suffered racism, beatings, discrimination, called names and the locals wanted them to back to their country... all the italians wanted to do was raise their families and make a better life for themselves.
(you can put 50 different nationalities , all have the same story)
now, the Chinese in Prato. I can understand them. they are living in a foreign country as many chinese do, they are all over the world and have been the top immigrants in all the new world countries along with the Italians, the Greeks, the germans, jews, Russians etc..
so now, the Chinese are in italy and in Prato and trying to make a life for themselves. its not going to be easy for them. they will face racism, name calling, discrimination. and of course
like the ITalians did in America, they face people from their own countries trying to exploit them.
this gives the hard working Chinese a bad name.
Regarding the communist leader Xi Jing Ping, The woman is right. He has done great things for the country. Just like Mao, to bring a nation of 1.5 billion people out of poverty and into the richest nation on earth and on path to becoming the super power of the world is no easy task!
visit china and see the progress... its amazing, I have seen it... incredible country...
Putin also, brought Russia out of the darkness, the poverty and turned Russia into a rich powerful country.
we give these leaders a bad name. but to make their countries successful sometimes you need to crack whip.
South Korea is no different. under the dictatorship of Park Chun Hee , South Korea became a powerful country.. look at the miracle of South Korea now...
Prato is an interesting story. but with 30.000 or 50.000 Chinese people living there, working, raising families and trying to become rich or make a living. its great for the local economy
and out of that 30.000, how many are bad apples? not many....
there are plenty of other nationalities in Italy who are committing terrible crimes...
the Italians first of all, the Nigerians, the Albanians, the Eastern Europeans, etc etc...
its easy to point the finger an the Chinese.. but they seem like hardworking people who just want to survive and make some money honestly as the next guy.
like the Mayor said, they are much better now than 10 years ago. the only real issue is paying TAX.. LOL
who doesn't try and avoid taxes!

Have you considered writing a book!
Before this video I just watched about Sardinia….”Paradise Lost?” And I was sad.
Thanks for making see the other prospective! Survival.

However what most of us want in th eWest is that people obey the law - whether they are Italian mafia emigrating to tne US or Chinese going to Italy or all the various people who come to the UK (biggest number in UK history, far too many) - if they obey the law, come legally, obey the rules, follow our litter codes, keep noise down, be quiet, copy existing citizens there are no problems. Let all those coming to our free nations be aware - it may seem like freedom but it is not freedom to hold people in slavery, breach English or Italian law etc.
