But she is right when she says there on sometimes internal biases play a role because we are all bias with certaint things. But charlie is right too. Sometimes both sides can be right. A lot of the time, I think different sides are wrong and right in different ways. Acctually we are all right and wrong when it comes to certain things.
The problem is that the facts are with Charlie. It has been illegal to discriminate based on sex since the 1970s (Equal Pay Act, look it up). The study saying women only earn 70 cent to a man's dollar has been widely debunked by showing that they did not control for the variables that cause pay disparity, including the most obvious one, a person's job. I do the same thing and generate a study showing that men under 6 feet make less than men over 6 feet by simply comparing all the Burger King workers under 6 feet to all the doctors over 6 feet.
Women making less has to do with their preference in job choice and hours they are willing to work, not some imaginary discrimination.
