Exactly the same problem I had on my 2001 civic, both sides. The sealer was cracked and dried out. I removed it all and re-sealed now no more leaks. Thanks for the very informative video!!!
Thanks for this. looking if this is the same as my Civic 2005, except it's on the passenger side. Been trying to check non stop as to where the problem is. I hope it's as "simple" as this (no parts replacement necessary)
@@jafmex I don't have a sunroof. It's in the shop right now. The dashboard needs to be taken out now since all the mechanics I've consulted can't pinpoint the issue.
@Nick Jonathan they charge too much money fix it yourself, check the seal on the hinge for the hood inside the passenger side. Could be the heater core.
There is actually like 2 massive holes, I took it to somebody on Sunday 3/27/2022 to have it sealed up. and today is 3/31/2022 We had a bit of rain fall last night and it was still wet man Crazy i dried it up this morning to see if it keeps getting wet, We are expecting heavy rain fall tonight! ugh... I HOPE IT JUST STOPS. but lets see.. I will let yo know. By the way you never let me know what happen?

If you have a sunroof open it and pour some water on that small lip next to the seal that holds the roof see if it leaks to the floor board.
