I was in a car crash with my son and daughter. My son in front and daughter in back. Someone pulled out in front of us and we hit the side of their car at 45 mph. We lived and they lived and all appropriate airbags deployed with only very minor injuries to me and my kids. Loved this suv!
Hell yeah dude, I just got this as my first car a few hours ago as I’m writing this. The only difference is the dude I got it from rhino lined the whole thing and put huge tires on it. He removed some of its panels and welded a new one on. He called it his mad max beast. Edit: it is the manual, 4wd one too.
*points at one of a handful of real part time 4WD systems that engages the front diff and locks the hubs from inside the vehicle and includes a full transfer case selector for proper low range four wheel drive that can be completely engaged or disengaged without requiring the driver to exit the cabin in any 4x4, not just SUVs* "Snow mode."
I own this car, and it has served me well. It performed well in crash tests, fuel economy could be better, but overall it's a great car. People who are saying that it's "unsafe" are dumbarses. It's only unsafe if you want to be a wreckless moron on the road. In a crash it would do quite well in protecting the passengers. Besides - "everything" is unsafe ultimately. The ground is unsafe because you can slip and fall at any moment and crack your head open.
Kyle, there are two Civics there, a supercharged Range Rover, and two Jettas, all of which would be great additions to your channel! Pref the Civic Coupe, and the Jetta Wolfsburg!
the engine on the 2002-2009 2007-2009 (Russia assemby by Izh Auto) Kia Sorento/ Naza Sorento (Malaysia) Engine 2.4 L I4 3.3 L Lambda V6 3.5 L Sigma V6 3.8 L Lambda V6 2.5 L Diesel I4
My Sorento is now 16 years old with 132,000 miles. Question: I like that the back seats go down. The issue for me is that they do not fold flat. I was trying to make room for my dogs but it doesn't do any good to fold them.
@datboiwes333 heard wrong. not slow at all. when htey run that is lol. HAD one. loaded up. the koreans copied everythign on this except durability/dependability. yet somehow got the fuel mileage of a built v8 in the mix lol. but still fun to drive. and not slow
@scaremengaviation or the lexus suv of that era. the koreans copied everythign BUT the durability lol. my mom GOD rest her soul had one. sister wrecked it. rear main seal went out twice. window seals 3x. drivers window once. and transmission once.
@scaremengaviation still not great. check the soul lol. hyundai has gotten better. i had them when they were as bad as kia is. yes htey are getting better but have a long way to go. hyundai still has inssues in many of their cars. BUT have made it over 20 years in this country. so that says something.

I remember when we had a 2003 Kia Sorento LX up until 2012, and it was a very smooth ride.
I’m going to bet that you now owned a Kia Telluride. Kia/Hyundai are just wonderful
This is going to be my first car. We’ve had it for around 18 years and it’s all fixed up just for me!
They started to make these cars in 2003, 16 years ago...

@@itzme6981 I had a black 4wd one too. Take care of that car and it will take care of you. It's a beast.

My first car was a 2006 Sorrento LX and she was a tank. Never had 1 problem. I loved her but unfortunately I totaled her after 2 years of love. RIP
This is one of the Kias I like the most.

These were actually a true truck I believe! The newer ones from 2011 to present were more car based CUVs
In my opinion I think by 2005 Kia did change for the better than what they used to be when their cars were crappy. Kia has come a long way
I don't know why but I like this for some reason and I want one
Well from personal experience this is a good car.

What a transformation for KIA.
In China there are copied versions of this car called "Huanghai Landscape CUVs" and they're also sold in North Korea too

You have to raise the seat bottoms. It has a strap. Pull it forward. Hope this helps.
