Hey Guys, Major MB for another video, today i took my new car for a ride and this is a Kia Sorento with the 2.5 CRDI engine with 140bhp, it feels brilliant in offroad and onroad too!.

My dad had one of these for about 5 years. Same colour, wheels etc but it was RHD (UK). Was a nice car to be inside but wasn’t greatly built from a mechanical aspect. He sold it and the engine let go at 188,000 miles.

Reading the local car forums I saw that the diesel 140 and 170hp are problematic.
Is that true? I'm asking, as I'm about to buy Sorento 140hp.
Yes, I have 140. Injector problems. Test it if you can- pedal to the metal. Many other problems but this is the worst.
They are very reliable generally, but as they age you may have to change the turbo and injectors. Otherwise 400000km+ should be easy.

@@kustu unfortunately! 😉 and been a passenger in one a few of times. 🤣 They have some good points and I don't mind the interior quality, except for the key and the steering wheel. They seem to be from the mid 90s. Aright, not terrible but far from the best. I think they are a lot better now though!
