@@h3rdr3duc3r My CTS downpipe did come with a cat, only difference is that its removable. And you can also buy it with out a cat on some websites and save like $100!!

Didn't you get a CEL with that cat-less DP? APR discontinued because of federal regs putting possible heavy fines on companies knowingly selling what are now considered DP's for "track only use only" instead of possibly getting fined they just discontinued....but there are other manufactures that still sell them, APR really abandoned a good market of VW enthusiasts. I don't really understand though why you chose a cat-less DP, you don't get any more power than a catted DP, catless stink and they're bad for the environment.

@@colgatemk7gti698 nice. I use my 19’s in the winters in IT. They work just fine even with the bad roads. Sometimes I do wish I had a winter 18” whee set though. Maybe in the future, but for right now my 19’s work just fine. Continental DWS 06’s work extremely well in snow
@@JacesOwnWorld Ive been using those same tires for all year driving on my previous car q50 awd and now on my golf R .. they are very good in the snow. However this winter i bought some 19" snows 235/40/19. so a tad taller but they do make a difference over the Conti's

You don't need a tune, but you are gonna need a O2 sensor spacer so that you don't get a check engine light!!

The car runs great man!! If you have not tune your gonna need to get a o2 sensor spacer with your downpipe so you don't get check engine light 👌

Tbh idk, but all the big brand downpipe look the same to me 🤷. I got this one because of the price and the quality is really good!!
His CTS doesnt have a cat but i think all IE ones come with a Highflow cat now.

what does a down pipe do?
The stock DP restricts a lot of airflow, and aftermarket gives your car more airflow which gives you more power!!
