I am happy that you actually put a shield over the camera. My eyes are safe.
Yeah, got to keep the eyes safe... thanks for watching.
Same some people don’t and it’s hurts my eyes I weld a lot also and I have the helmet shade turned up
LMAO when the boy thumbed up at the end, when you were putting the belt back on chud 327.... HA HA HA! THANKS FOR GREAT VIDEOS!
That boy is always doing funny stuff and thanks for watching
these mudmower vids are the best thing on youtube!
Agreed
You need to find a cheap 4wd 4wheeler to steal the front axle out of
Or you could lift it put another transaxle in the front and ad a dropping pulley in the middle
You are the best
Wow, thanks so much and thanks for watching.
Cool video 😎
I like these videos. I learn a lot. Great job.👍🏼
Great to hear, thanks so much and thanks for watching.
Now that it has been some time, how is this belt setup holding up? I swapped both pulleys on my GT and keep throwing belts. I really like how you added the pulley running back to the trans axle, id bet that would help my setup alot. Your the only youtuber i see who shows how you pulley swap and build belt keepers. Please keep up the great work.
I have a worn out belt now, but it has been on a while. My belt used to stay on great, but with a worn belt, it does come off pretty easy. Hope to get a new belt real soon. Will keep showing the pulleys and keepers because that is a major part of mud mower life. thanks for watching.
Fun video’s- I have one like colonel craftsman

Happy late birthday
Chud 327 Is best
Thanks so much and thanks for watching.
Thank, next video please
I feel like my 5 year old goes through stuff worse than this ever day with his wheel horse.
I need to find me a wheel horse... thanks for watching.
chud327 ton of them around here in upstate ny. His is a 80s era 12 hp hydro. Super heavy. Usually got to pull it out with the Jeep when he gets stuck.
Awesome video thank you
Thanks and thanks for watching
Mr Chud, with all due respect, Sir.. he's your boy.. but Barefoot Chud has proven himself a Real Man in the mud. A genius driver in mud. I feel that he's due a starter motor on his machine. Also, those rear meats on The Colonel are WICKED. I've never seen a mud mower jerk the front wheels offa the ground before - whilst standing in 10" of water and mud. COOL!
I was quite surprised by the mud wheelies. I now have 3 that will do it. I think he like pulling the rope… thanks for watching!
This is an awsome mower

Mission failed we'll get'em next time
Special T lol
Great video buddy just found your channel going to check out some more of your videos
So glad you found, sorry I am just seeing the comment.
One great video chud327 keep it up
Thanks so much and will do!
@@chud327 yeah you're welcome
That's pretty sweet
WOH, your crafstman dose not have an AYP steering box.
Damn! Let's ride/
Has that thing died?
Ready or not/
Can not stop/
Twist, turn, pulley tight/
It will be the speed of light/
Weld them things, really fast/
Comfortable seat for you A🍺🍺!
you should add a hand crank siren on Colonel Craftsman
That would be very cool, I have an electric on I should add. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for siren addition.
that's funny time to git wet lol. Now if you point the wheels to where your puling then put a rope round the steering wheel and tie it to the back of the mower or the front bumper you can pull it out your self.
That is a good tip and thanks for watching.
That's pully you put on is the exact same one as mine but mine is a wheel horse you should look for a wheel horse I have had a bunch of mud mowere and it the best in my opinion
Thanks, I used to have one, but sold it... Maybe I will find another some day. Thanks for watching.
Looks great. Good welder you got there. Wish I could get my hands 9n a engine lift. You look abit stuck lol.
I love my welder. That is one of the tools you say how did I manage without this for so long. Thanks for watching
@@chud327 you bet
I have the same tractor 🤣 found it on the side of the road 🤓 deck is shot going with 6" pulley front 4" rear let you know how it works out😳
Very nice find and yes, let me know how it goes. thanks for watching.
Let see a video where you guys put some more springs on the clutch on the Murray so it will quit slipping. I think it would have great power if you guys improved the belt system a bit.
It did help and thanks for watching.
Next vid: locking the poulan and the colonel
Good idea and thanks for watching.
Is that your same camp hat? I like rate 10/10, and I need those executioners for my mower!
I love the hat and the tires. I recommend both. thanks for watching.
@@chud327 where did you get the hat?

here is another that is twice the price...
Duallys on the zero turn?!
That would be very cool! Thanks for watching
Great videos I'd like to see a 3 foot-ish lifted mower build
Thumbs up this if y'all would like to see that aswell
That would be cool and I just got a new mig welder, maybe I can make it happen. thanks for watching.
chud327 no thank you for making these amazing videos
Where do you buy pulleys and belts from? Thanks! And congrats on 100k!
I get the belts and pulleys from tractor supply. However, some do not carry pulleys anymore... good luck and thanks for watching.
Same I made number four trying to make 1 2 or 3 but four
4 is still pretty good, thanks for watching
Make one that’s 4 wheel drive
What was colonel craftsmans top speed in 3rd high range when you bought it compared to after you swapped it to this? I'm considering swapping my GT to get around 10mph but don't want to lose much torque so as usual I found your channel and i knew it'd help me find answers haha
I think it was around 5-6 MPH stock and not it does around 12, if I remember correctly. Good luck and thanks for watching.
@@chud327 thanks so much for the help! I think I'm definitely gonna have to swap the pulley haha
It needs exhaust work no offense but doesn't sound that great
And I just got a welder too... Thanks for watching
@@chud327 Lincoln electric to
Link to the pulleys for the engine please?
I don't have a link, but they came from tractor supply. 1 inch hub and 6 inch pulley, then weld together. Good luck and thanks for watching!!
That's my fav lawnmower out of all the one u have and I see the pontoon boat in background what happened to ur truck
I think it may be my favorite too. I hope to get the pontoon in the water next week. I had to sell the truck a while back... Thanks for watching.
@@chud327 get u another truck I like ur truck projects also
Wait you had to sell the blue 4x4 truck
@@markisbreaux7487 good news, working on another truck! Hope to have a video out in a few weeks. Hope you will check it out and leave a comment about how you love my truck projects
I was trying to make number one or number two but I made number three :)
Third is still pretty good, thanks for watching!
Do we really need a shield?
I don't think so, just thought it would be fun for you to watch threw one. thanks for watching.
I have this same mower but green how easy is it to make the rear pully a little smaller
I have never tried it, but it would not be too bad as long as you have a grinder and a welder. thanks for watching.
@@chud327 thanks for the reply love watching do you know what I would need to weld
i built a fast one once i had an 18hp opposed briggs and i used 10 inch pulley on motor and 3.5 inch on tranny ..it was too fast ..has it doing close to 140kms
I am not sure what that is in mph, but with those pulleys I don't think I would be finding top speed... Thanks for watching!!
in mph it would be close to 80mph
@@farmer87yj I would have to get a stunt driver, hope you a helmet
What’s that app ?? Im going to see what my top speed is on n my mud mower
I found it for free in the apple store called "Speedometer". thanks for watching.
My steering gears are directly under the engine pulley any way to swap it?
Can you just swap out the back pulley? thanks for watching and good luck.
@@chud327 I already did but I'm looking for a little more speed
chad. where do you get your pulleys, I've been to tractor supply, and even some of the family owned tractor places, and they don't even carry pulleys
Our tractor supply has tons of pulleys!
they have them at tractor supply but there cheaper online
What sized pulley?
Stock in the back, 6 inch in the front. Sorry it took so long to see your question… thanks for watching
Where did you get the new pulley with spline ? Need some for jd project
This one came from tractor supply, but it does not have splines. I don't know where to find splines. Good luck and thanks for watching.
Do you have to weld the pulley
If you can find them already put together, you don't. I can only find the one inch shafts pulley in the weld it yourself section... thanks for watching.
Huh that craftsman doesnt have the horizontal shift to vertical belt setup ?
Either way that's a cool ass setup
Also did you have to make steering adjustments for those bigger tires up front so no rub?
The steering is all stock.
hi, where did you get the tires on the rear of the mower, and what size are they?
It has executioners 25x10x12. I found them brand new on marketplace for $90. Thanks for watching.
@@chud327 ok thank you
👍👍👍
Thanks for watching
chad love ur vids, but how do you straight pipe your mowers without it cutting off when letting off the throttle due to no back pressure causing the exaughst valves not to open
I guess the straight pipe gives just a little back pressure... thanks for watching.
@@chud327 no fair......i straight piped mine and it cutoff when i let off the throttle quickly ( foot throttle)
but how do you get back pressure when straight piped???
@@logertgogert3227 very very late reply to this, but maybe you could add an inward taper into your pipe, or even add a washer of some sort to keep some back pressure, I'm sure you've figured this out already but I'd like to hear what you did to fix your issue incase I straight pipe mine :)
zero turn is the worst thing you can use to pull something stuck cause it will get stuck and is the worst thing you can let a women drive
Mine actually pulls better than average with it's atv tires. Thanks for watching!
Lol she don't know how to play in the mud
Is everything OK you haven't put a video out in a while
I have been super busy hunting a job and I caught this dumb cold and when I thought I was getting over it, it came back... I am hoping to get my pontoon video out real soon, just got to get it in the water soon. Thanks so much for asking.

Why is your channel called chud327 ?
My name is Chad, but when I named it you could use chad if someone else had it, I switched one letter to chud and 327 is an engine size. Thanks for watching.
