  • In this episode, I lifted my engine and used my deck pulley as my drive pulley. It was super cheap and easy to do.

    i like this ideah, but i see a potential problem maby. having the pully much further away from the motor increases leverage from your clutch spring and stuff. i mean it holds up to blade deck mowing so maby its going to have no affect. way down the road when the motors more worn you should show is if there is any play in the crank.

      chud327. U r a very kind RUclipsr. U always thank people for watching. But anyway. If u could find a mower with the same reared as one u have and could find out a way to combine there “transmissions” (I don’t know the technical name) , more or less the shifter. Then u could just add another pulley to the top of the original axle and then raise the added pulleys shaft.
      U probably already know that but that is how I would do it.

    I would say that this wasn't the smartest idea, 1) because it will put a lot if stress on the crank and pulley, 2) because it will need a fuel pump if you want to be able to use your entire tank (but a fuel pump isn't really hard to do). But with the rod knock that thing has, it can't hurt it anymore than it is.

    • @chud327
      @chud327  4 года назад +3

      Stress on the crank and pulley? you better call the company, that is what the pulley is made for... Fuel. pump would be an easy fix... I ain't heard the rod knocking yet, don't know what you are talking about. thanks for watching.
