The Premeire was amazing Chud! I really enjoyed talking to you!
Thanks so much and I enjoy talking in the chats too. thanks for watching.
there is a tensioner idler that provides tension to the upper belt, and allows more than one speed. Currently you only have one speed thanks to an upper belt that cant move along with the lower on the cvt pulley.
That is the way it came and worked great before the swap. It would s different than troy #5. Thanks for watching!!
Good video Chud. Love all the pully swap stuff.
Me too and thanks for watching!!
Man I love those Jeeps.
Thanks so much and thanks for watching!!
Thanks for another great video!!!
You are very welcome and thanks for watching.
I remember when I pulley swapped my MTD Huskee, a more permanent solution to the pulley without welding that I used was I got a keyed pulley with a bore that was close to the shaft size, and then lathered it with JB weld and put the nut back on. Also with mine the short belt for the FNR had a tensioner/idler on a swing arm.
What ever works and thanks for watching!!
Now that's some real 'red neck' engineering right there, nice work man.
Thanks so much and thanks for watching!!
Love the vid! Great 2 mowers !
Thanks so much and thanks for watching. Have to decide out of all, which wants to go to the river next... thanks for watching.
Bro just casually has a v8 sitting in the back
That is me and thanks for watching!!
those splines appear to be the same 48 spline pattern as the peerless 700, 800, etc transmissions. some of those have break disks that are like 1/4 in thick, and 2 in diameter, meaning they are a premade hub for welding sprockets/ pullies to.
Good tip and thanks for watching/l!!
Dude, I’m in Callahan too!!! I’m trying to make my Troy Bilt faster.
Very cool that you are in Callahan, you should go to the river and ride with us some time. Check out my front pulley flop videos, it is cheap and easy and doubles your speed. Good luck and thanks for watching.
That's cool👍👍👍
Thanks so much and thanks for watching.
The nascar mower looked really cool without the seat and fenders. It reminds me of a snow machine, or a jet ski. Someday you could put a bench seat long ways and have a 2 person mower
Great tip and thanks for watching!!
I've seen your videos, but I always wanted to see a tractor go in really deep water, I mean so deep that it would need a snorkel. Anyway, nice videos.
Did you see my last video, needed a snorkel for sure. thanks for watching.
OMG the pup runs faster 😅
#68 and nice video Chud! I think your missing a tensioner pulley on the rear belt which will keep the tractor in only one gear but it definitely did good as is!
Yeah, it could have worked better. It is a different set up than troy #5. Thanks X 68!!
Does it still mow lawns? Great video.
In the next school holidays I am going to adjust the linkage on my John Deere stx38 hydro so that it can go faster.
If I put the deck back it would mow, but would probably have to stay out of the heavy grass and keep it in a low gear. thanks for watching.
What is that v8 on the tire for?🤨🤨🤔
The jeep
That is a Ford V8 for the black Bobcat (Pinto) station wagon in the front yard. Hope to be putting it in soon. Thanks for watching.
Good guess, but the Jeep already has a V8, but it is a Chevy and is already installed. thanks for watching.
@@chud327 I’ve been trying to find a good mower to pully swap for awile and I’m glad I found your channel because it’s giving me so much ideas
I’ve got a ex mark 46” with a Kawasaki that I’ve got to get running.
I was looking at one with a Kawasaki yesterday.... Maybe someday. Thanks for watching!!
that's a craftsman impact drill
Time to swap front and back and race them both again
That would be cool, thanks for watching!!
What about the s10? Also wondering when the next major Murray video is?
Major Murray may be a while, have to find an engine for it and I have a bunch in line in front of it. As for the S-10's, I am working on one for Charles and one for the red one. The red one still needs an engine, but I have done a bunch to it like, camaro wheels, polished some of the paint, head light switch added, Blazer bumper partly on, taillights wired up, bought a tag for the front, found working seat belts, seat belts... really just need to find an engine. Charles will just be an update on what as been done to it lately. Thanks for watching.
@@chud327 ok good to know
I wish I could fit in my old BDUs. ABUs kinda fit but it's thick weight garbage. I hated wearing them.
I need to find more at the flea market. Thanks for watching!!
I've had bad luck with my fnr pulley swap I got a 73 inch belt it won't brake or go into gear same with a 75 and I got a 77 it's to big
I take mine to the store and try them on until one works. Hope you figure it out and thanks for watching.
I need those mud tires! Are they stock rims? And if so, where did you get them from? Thanks!
Stock wheels. 8 inch ATV tires. I usually get most of mine off of marketplace. Good luck and thanks for watching!!
you should do a front pulley swap too
Would have been better, thanks for watching!
What was the easiest mower you ever swapped?
I have done so many... Probably fast mowers. I even took the stock belt when done. Thanks for watching!!
Is that transmission considered hydrostatic? I thought you couldn’t pulley swap those because it burns the pump up. 🤔
It is not a hydro, it is the vari-drive. I have heard that about hydro, but I have not tried it yet. thanks for watching.
You'd probably get better speed if you opened up the transaxle and replaced the grease with a heavy motor oil or differential gear oil.
Probably be true and thanks for watching!
Meed more videos about troy #7
Will try to make more Troy 7 content soon. Thanks for watching.
👍🌞🌅🌄
Thanks so much and thanks for watching/!!
Hi
Hi and thanks for watching!!
Why not front and rear pulley swap one make it way faster
I have done that on a couple of my other mowers and yes they are fast. One hit 44 mph and I feel it is too fast. thanks for watching.
You know that dog won right? Beat both mowers
chud
