thank you so much this video was very informative and straight forward i was going to buy a air sander for a 6 gallon air compressor, for automotive painting and prep so this helped me so so much thank you and keep up the great work!
Good info. Thanks for sharing. Can you compare side by side the air vs electric to strip the stain off a wood panel. Also it would be interesting to compare to a Bosch 5” orbital or similar.
Tiny head too. That thing is smaller then most portable compressors. Only thing big on that is the tank. Also, maximum air is used with shooting the air freely.
Thank you, I wish you would explain describe a pancake compressor...lol...I needed this comparison, trying to decide if I would buy air or battery or electric hand orbital sander...
I appreciate the video, but you have no clue about your compressor. That's not a two stage, not 7 hp and not 80 gal. My 80 gal 5 hp two stage compressor is twice that size.
Oh come on, u don't need a 5k+ corkscrew compressor to run your sander 😄 My 60 gal 2 stage is 15 cfm, most 60 gallons should be more than enough air. Hell most 5 gal compressors run 90cfm @ 5-6cfm. No one in their right mind thinks a pancake compressor would run this sander 😄
You 27 gallon probably has the same size compressor on top.of it. He is lying about a 7.5 hp compressor. A 7.5 hp compressor can kick out 31cfm that almsot 10x what that tool is rated to pull.
You just saved me from wasting money and time. Thank you!
This is such a great video, I didn't understand the differences before I watched your video!

7.5 hp air compressor is rated at 31 cfm. Which can power 9 of those sanders.
Very well done, and informative!

Thank you so much! Great Video!! Now I know what to buy
Good explanation, thank you!
Very useful! Many thanks!
Great video

Came here to say that. Looks like a 40 gal compressor. I've got an 80 gal and it looks at least twice that size.
@@doug.ritson Same...my Champion RV has a 2 stage thats twice that size and the 7hp motor is three times as big. My 80gl tank seems bigger also.
my Mi-T-M 7.5 gp 80 gallon comp hates my mirka air sander. prob going to a eletric one.
Thank you for your video
What brand are those Sanders??
Surf Prep
Is that 3.4 SCFM? A lot of 20 gallon compressors that are a few hundred dollars can put out about 4-5 SCFM @ 90 PSI.
They can, but you'll burn up the compressor because it will be running non stop.
Doesn’t matter.. you can’t get continuous use. You’d have to keep stopping to let the tank catch up.
It’s only good for big commercial shop settings.
No way that is a 7hp motor.

I mean. I'm very new to this world. All I have is a pancake. This video was helpful for me to understand if this product was for me.
I guess my 27 gallon tank is a loser 😡

I should have seen your video. I wasted my money for nothing
