    Can these sanders be used for woodworking

    • @OhioPowerTool
      @OhioPowerTool  2 месяца назад +4

      I'm sure they're not designed to be "optimal" for that, but as long as you're using the right sandpaper we don't see why you couldn't use these for whatever application you want!

      What’s the reason for the firm vs soft pads depending on the model you buy?

    Curious about the dust filtration. How fine of a particle can these really capture?

      You still need to wear a mask.

    • @OhioPowerTool
      @OhioPowerTool  День назад

      Yes, although the dust collection will help reduce the amount of the dust, you would still need to wear a mask while sanding.

      They have sanders that work better for drywall but these would work just wouldn't be as good as some of the other options milwaukee has

    Can you put a 5” backing pad on these?

    • @Jeedehem
      @Jeedehem Месяц назад

      Good question. I’m not the owner of one of these 2… yet. But, since they they showed the shallow space behind the pad, I’d say that you could do it, but it would definitely reduce the dust collection.
      I will use the more aggressive model of the two, in order to sand vast planks or furniture surfaces. And I’ll order soft pads for working on curved details or bent wood.

    5 doors per charge? I feel like thats pretty bad. Thats a terrible way to represent battery life anyways. Not all doors are the same size.. Just tell me how many hours the battery last.

      We'd agree, what ever happened to just say 25 minutes continuous run time?

    • @trevorp875
      @trevorp875 2 месяца назад

      @@OhioPowerTool Wouldn't it matter on how hard or soft someone pushes on the sander? So probably hard to judge. I'd say it lasts as long as the batteries are in size, a 2.5ah and a 5.0ah.

      It's the American way of measuring everything. Example: bus-size asteroid, three football fields long, weighing as much as 10 elephants.
