I just got my first Maltese and I am trying to learn everything for him to be a healthy, happy dog. Have I mentioned I fell in love with him immediately.
The first dog I ever loved was a Maltese. He lived 15 years and I lost a part of my heart when he left us. We now have another Maltese and I am absolutely in love with him. He is such a goofball and sweet dog. Very sensitive too.
Sharing my grief with others who have lost their Maltese children. We had two girls, Rosie (Posie) and Daisy (Maisy). They were four years apart in age and from different birth families but sisters all the same in our family. We lost Rosie in 2014 at age 15 due to diabetes and Daisy will have been gone one year ago this month (May 2020) after being euthanized at age 16 from declining health due to kidney failure. Not a day goes by that I don't miss my canine kids, especially when I see others in my neighborhood outside walking with theirs. At first, I wanted to get another Maltese but realize now doing so would disrespect the memories and wonderful years I had with our girls who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Looking forward to seeing them again one day and not be separated any longer. Thanks for reading.
I feel the same. I had two dogs too. My older sweet boy died of diabetic complications when he was 13. His "brother" was 10 years old then. He got to be 17 for almost 3 months before he died on Dec. 17th of 2020. I was hoping for more years with him. He was so lively until his last couple of weeks. But through it all, he was a trooper. Just like his brother. I miss them so much. There's no way to replace him or his brother.
I feel the same way . These dogs are irreplaceable .🥲 I had my Heidi for 14 years , she also died of kidney failure. She was born deaf & I think that affected her in many ways as she was more hyper than most Malteses i’ve had many dogs whom I’ve hello, but she had such a special place in my heart that I knew I could never replace her. It wouldn’t be fair to try to compare her to another dog so, being an animal lover that I am, I decided I would get a cat instead. Unfortunately I still have to compare this cat with my Maltese & I know that isn’t fair. I guess I am just lucky to have had this wonderful creature in my life. I miss her so much ! 😢❤️❤️❤️
Sorry to hear of all the diabetes of these and other tiny dogs. Wondering which vaccines were given? I' concerned about autoimmune diseases (Type 1 DM is autoimmune) and so I am only having my Maltese get required rabies every 3 years. Also giving probiotics, but wondering what regime others have been on who got diabetes. My Maltese developed generalized petechiae a week after rabies, and as she gets older now I'm on y guard!
@@finallythere100 You are smart to be weary and observant. A lot of the US veterans from the Gulf War were way over vaxxed going into war and many have autoimmune and neurodegenerative diseases. Sometimes specific dogs just like people are very sensitive to vaccines.
"Picky eater" is an understatement. Snacks and treats are a hit or miss....my cupboard is full of them. What the hell am I going to do with them all? I can't eat them.
I have a picky cat that is allergic to the majority of regular cat food. In result, not only I have to spend a fortune in hypoallergenic treats, but he also gets bored of them, and doesn’t eat all the new ones I buy. So I have to keep trying new ones, just so he gets bored and leave them aside 🙄🤷🏼♀️ I donate the ones that he doesn’t eat to a shelter. Maybe you could do the same?
My Maltese are very picky eater too. They don’t eat their dry dog food unless I sprinkle our table food in their bowls. So I cooked chicken or beef vegetables soup to mix with their dry dog foods and they love it. We are the dog lovers
Oh dear big loss 😪 i buy in March my girl and i cant live without her for this moment she is whole my world ❤️❤️😘but my first girl (not maltese) died years ago and i hope she is in better place🐾🐾
Im so sorry for your loss. I’m sure it’s as hard today as it was a year ago. My two beautiful bouncy Malteses went over the Rainbow Bridge 6 months apart…the recent was this past Saturday. They were truly my babies. 11 and 12 years old. There is a cloud of Maltese pups where all you can see are big black eyes and noses…I want to live on that cloud! 🐶❤️🌈
My Maltese runs my household. She’s in charge of my other two dogs and makes sure that they know that I belong to HER. Such a character. Best dogs ever. Smart and full of personality
Oh man, How I miss my "Little white cloud"😥. I had my Scotty for 15 years, & how I LOVED him so... My maltese companion, my baby boy... It's been a year now that he went to doggy heaven, & it hurts like if it were yesterday. Ya'll enjoy & LOVE your "lil white clouds".. they are such beautiful dogs👍
Veronica Almaguer Hi hun I'm so sorry for your loss I just lost my baby 2 weeks ago and it feels like I can't breathe at times I could just imagine what you're going through and I know it sounds cliche but just try to remember all the love that you gave your baby and the love you got back and let that help you heal even though I know it seems impossible I hope you find some peace and you heal your heart❤
I L O V E Maltese! I've been Blessed to own this breed. I love females, they have big personalities, very loyal and loving. They are very brave and fearless. My "Lucy" lived 11 years...miss her very much. Great video, thank you! 🐾🐾
Mine is only 3lbs n will bark right in a pitbulls face in a second 🤣 shes a rescue she wasn't being adopted bc of her age shes 7 no one wanted an older dog but what they dont realize is that the senior dogs are the easier ones! Shes so affectionate n calm n already house trained at 7yrs old they literally dont need anything but love n attention!
@@veronicaalmaguer1916 I know what you mean, I lost my Prince the day after Easter last year. He was 15 and was the 2nd love of my life. My husband died and 2 years later I adopted Him, He had Pancreatitis. I cant get over losing him, I cry every day.
my maltese tried barking away this giant husky in a mall once, the husky just looked at him and then walked away so i can attest to them being fearless lmao
I love allergies free and don’t shed, I got him from the adoption center at 10 yrs old, I was surprised how active and playful he is, I don’t believe in crates, my home is their home. I am so happy I love him so much. He is a joy to our family
My Maltese is named pinball . She is the best thing that ever happened to me I was diagnosed with parkinson's disease and got depressed got her and she's the best therapy I've had yet
My 1st Maltese made me love all canines in general. She has been gone for over 4 years but I think about her everyday and she is buried in a beautiful pet cemetery. Now have a 2 year old Maltese that I got when she was a baby and have showered her with love ever since!
C Estrada Is it in Hartsdale Ny. My babies are there and the family are the best people.. I just lost my precious CC 2 weeks ago and it's so hard but knowing that she's buried there is such a comfort and knowing how well the family took care of her in the process has helped heal some of my pain but I miss her so desperately
I had a Maltipoo, I got him when he was 15 years old. I took him with me to most of the places and all trips. I even would take him to some of the restaurants (off course places with outside sitting) he would stay put on the chair, never on the floors. He was so well behaved that he was almost unnoticed by others. His grooming was done monthly and at home I kept up with his hygiene daily. Due to his age he got completely blind and he fell the bed getting hurt. Took him to a Vet who prescribed a medication which killed him in less than 2 hours.
Bless you … mine crossed the rainbow bridge blind at 15 … she had a series of strokes/seizures … the first leaving her blind in one eye, then another that left her completely blind … she lived blind for several months … the last seizure was horrid, she never came out of it!
I am so sorry this happened to you and your little dog. My Maltese was with me for 15 years and always by my side . I'm almost 80 and just know It would be hard to have another little dog , unless it was a Maltese.
It has been hard for me too to thinking about replacing him. Although, lately I am having a change of a heart 💔❤️. Their little sweet faces are inresistable. Thank you for all your kind words.
Katey, or “Kit-kat,” as I like to call her, has been with my family now for 11 years. She doesn’t like other dogs that much, yet she is extremely loyal to me and my parents. She suffers from separation anxiety, yet she’s a really great dog. Her personality is really unique.
I had two Maltese babies, recently I lost my younger one. 😭 my older one she has such an alpha personality, no matter where we go & what size of a dog is there, she establishes her dominance & makes sure the other dog realizes & accepts that she is the boss.
Me too our maltese died because he wont stop pooping blood and then he passed away yesterday my siblings cant stop crying... he was with us for only 3 months.... so short😔
They are fiercely loyal and protective, super intelligent, and can be quite stubborn and headstrong... I've had other breeds, but my maltese were the BEST dogs I had ever had.
Never leave them alone in the yard. They are very delicate dogs and can hurt themselves. They are wonderful. We have a Maltipoo. Keep their eyes clean, too.
My maltese dog, snow is very friendly to all. She love her toys when i say where's the ball, get it, she immediately finds and get it for you.😀 she is a happy dog!
Miss my Maltese so much😥best companion ever . It broke my heart when I had to put her to rest . 12 years of pure unconditional love . Miss you forever molly . Been 8weeks. Miss you So much 💔😢😢😢
"They adore humans and like to be close to them "I agree with that so much I have my maltease puppy for a week now and he likes to fall asleep on me or by my feet so cute
I'm so excited. Will be picking my rescue Maltese up in a few days. I just need to remember to be more delicate with her than the more sturdy Victim Frise I had for 17 years. My heart is all a flutter.
My Maltese is my first puppy 🐶 In USA 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Very fun and energetic 8month old And Cleve And is already the protector of our family 😇😁 And acute senses of her surroundings🤔 She is fearless of bigger dog’s 😳 behind the glass window 🚙 Love ❤️ her.!
I call my dog security, because he follows where ever I go, he comes in between my husband when my hubby shows me affection. He barks when we are playing around(We got our Maltese when we started dating). He’s defiant, smart, funny and inpatient he has a love hate relationship with my husband. I tell him to stay in the bed when I go down stairs, I can hear him walking near the stairs, because of his bell. Whenever he hears me walking near the stairs he goes run to his bed , like he was their the entire time.
I have had 2 Maltese dogs the first one I had adopted her when she was 16 years old her name was Nui and she passed away when she was 20 years old and she died on January 4th,2021. My Son Chad and I were heartbroken and she was the love of our lives. We bought another Maltese dog in April 2021 her name is 😇 Angel she loves to dance and she is very warm and cuddly and she hates getting a bath she's the best thing in our lives and she loves My Son Chad and sticks to him like a magnet and I hope she will outlive me because I couldn't stand for another dog to die it's too heartbreaking ❣️
Maltese dogs are very good at outsmarting you and your dog believe me I know because our dog Angel does all kinds of crazy things like knocking the little fence down and when I ask her what happened she looks at My Son like he was the one who knocked down the fence and tries to look very innocent
I can understand what you mean our dog Angel tries to fool us when I tell her to stay in her bed and I walk away for a few minutes and I know she is waiting by my bedroom door and I open it she jumps back in her bed like she was there the whole time.
My pal Snowy loves to jump from couch to the chairs too! Loves a bath then tearing around bouncing off all the furniture! Then likes to warm up in her bed by the fire in the wintertime♡ Cutest wee angel I've ever had the pleasure to know & love!❤🐾❄
I got my 1st maltese 15 years ago. My husband brought him home to keep me company since he was on the road 4 days a week. I never cared much for dogs at all. But this dog was so different and sweet. I fell in love with him. I put him to sleep 2 years ago. That was a very hard day. He was so painful, I had to let him go. Maltese is the only dog for me. In a month my new maltese will be mine! Oh happy day!
I know how you feel when my Maltese dog Nui passed away I felt like I couldn't go on without her and I found out the best remedy for me was to get another Maltese dog it was only about 4 months before we got our dog Angel and she helped me to get over losing my dog Nui and she has brought us so much joy and happiness I wish I could have gotten Angel sooner because I was so sad when Nui had passed away and bringing Angel into our Home helped me get over the grief I had been going through. I can't believe it was the right direction to buy Angel she was what I needed to feel good about life again!
I Loved my Maltese Snickerdoodles more than anything in the World. He was the best furbaby I ever had. He ended up with a mass on his Liver and I had no idea. I am so lost without him. If you are looking for a small furbaby I can say the Maltese is the most wonderful-loyal-loving breathing animal II have ever experienced. RIP Sweet Boy! ❤️

I understand just how you feel. Through my life , I've had several dogs that I loved very much , but accepted that they ad lived a good life when they passed away. My last one was Franklin , a little 6 lb Maltese whom I loved dearly . There was the strongest bond I ever had . He lived to 15 in good health until the last few months of his life. He loved to go on the 5 hour drive to my daughter's in East Texas . He'd sleep on the way and must have recognized when we got into town , because he'd wake right up and watching out the window as we made the winding turns to her home.
My Maltese Izzie has separation anxiety. I make sure to leave her clothes with my scent on them in her kennel when I leave for work. She is always by side.
My Tinker Toy is the best boy ever. His daddy was Tink-a-roo. Tink-a-roo was only 4.5 lbs and such a lover boy. He passed away and I'm so glad l kept his son. Tinker Toy is so handsome. He went out on a date with a white yorkie named Sofia. She fell madly in love with him. Afterwards, just the mention of his name, sent Sofia running to the front door to see if he came to see her again. Ha ha ha
Just received a twenty-week-old Maltese. Adheres to its puppy pad fairly well. Like to nip on fingers though, providing toy. Your video is quite informative and I hace learned much. Thank you.
I had my first perfect joy little boy maltese for 18 years. I waited 17 years to get him when I first fell in love with the breed. Then the next was a little girl and she lived 17 years. It was with her that I decided to raise them so got another little boy and girl and raised them for 8 years. And at one time had nine of them. There were all a total joy. They live a long happy healthy life. They are devoted little companions. The one fact that you left out is that they were also known to be temple dogs and healers. And they do have this wonderful capacity to absorb negative energy and transmute it. I no longer have maltese or any dog . But they live on in my heart. As the song goes .. "You belong to my heart now and forever..."
I'm not a dog lover, but I have just qualified as a fitness instructor, and my coach would bring her Maltese dog into our class. I absolutely fell in love with the dog. Hence why I'm on this page, ffs lol.
We have adopted a senior Maltese who barks at my husband. He is interested in him but will not let him pick him up. We adore him and have had him 4 months. When he is happy he break dances on his back.
OMG! I am still grieving my dog's death. He was 15 years old when I put him to sleep. It was so hard, but the vet told me that he was suffering. Good dog but, I know that I gave him a good life he was my boy! Miss you Cookie dough.
My Luna-pie has been with us for 3 years now and I can't imagine my life without her. I have never met such an affectionate, loving, playful, sweet and overall just incredible dog. If you're thinking of getting a maltese, I have only one thing to tell you... DO IT.
Maltese were my first two dogs. I believe in having a minimum of two dogs. That way they have canine companions and are not alone. I got a male first. He was in a local pet store and came from a family that has a lot of champion Maltese. This was 1992 and the puppy mills were just beginning to send them all over the country. Two years later I got a female. They were both spayed and neutered so there was no danger there. They were happy, healthy pups and lived into their middle teens. I actually was looking for a female poodle and they suggested a Maltese. I picked him up and he kissed me. That was it! When I brought the female home she desperately tried to get the male to play. His nose was out of joint for the first two days. On the third day he was laying on the couch and she jumped up and got a hold of his beard. He looked at me and I told him it was a good idea to go with it. He jumped down and they were off and running doing puppy zooms. They were so much fun. The only downside to the breed is the expense of a groomer and lots of brushing. I have had six dogs since then and miss the Maltese. The first few years I could not see a Maltese puppy without tears. Now I finally can look and not feel the pain. Queen Elizabeth II said that grief is the price we pay for all the love we receive. I agree
shane sieras so sorry for you, we just lost three of our family over the last 2 years, definitely rips your heart out but we have two left and they get all our attention, best dog ever , go find yourself another 🙂
My Maltese died 3 years ago, she was 14. She was the perfect dog that loved everyone, though if she smelled fear in you she would try to intimidate you.
My cousin Amy gave my mom a Maltese. She was 3 weeks old she is so cute. She named her Jasmine but I call her Nugget. Cause she’s so little. I just love coming over to play with her. We are so blessed we have her.
"My Toby" my sweet, angel Maltese was my Best Boy! I loved (love) him so and he returned that love a thousand fold in so many ways! He was so very very gentle, and so fearless too!, When our older dog who became cranky would bark, almost snap at Toby when he walked by, Toby would just stroll around again, right in front of him! Yet, as stated, gentle as a lamb! My Toby developed epilepsy, and suffered so! One evening into the next day, he suffered so many seizures, he was "just a shell," the vet told us. To this day I miss him still and it's been over two years! They steal yr heart, so please, please, God, let All Dogs Go To Heaven. I read once we grieve for our furbabies often the same as for people in our lives. This is due to "people connections" being complicated very often, and not so With Our Furbabies!!! Long live ALL YOUR FURBABIES!!! GOD BLESS US ALL, THEM TOO!!!!!!!!
I am in a wheelchair and have 2 beautiful Maltese puppies that I adore. I lost my Yorkie a few years ago and as a person with severe allergies I am amazed that I have absolutely no problems with my adorable boys. They are definitely picky eaters and will go without rather than eat something they do not like.

My Maltese is so adorable. She follows me every where. She hates to be alone even though I have 3 other small dogs with her. She is so affectionate and eager to please. I absolutely love her.
My ‘baby’ is almost 12 years old and just as sparky as when I got her at 10 weeks. She uses a litter box (yes, you can train a dog to do that) and doesn’t care for being on a leash and going for walks. She likes playing in the yard around the house though. Love her as if I gave birth to her.
My. Beautiful Isabella was put to sleep 6 months ago, I cry for her every day. She was 15 I got her when she was 8 weeks old. She was the sweetest baby girl ever. I miss everything about her.
Took him to agility training,! So enthusiastic, he kept doubling back and repeating all the obstacles. Could barely contain his joy. Now sacked out, completely exhausted. Best day ever.

Mine is very picky eater. I make his food now! Expensive but dam worth every penny!
Lol find a friend w a big dog and share!!! That's what I do
Neighbors love me!!
My Maltese are very picky eater too. They don’t eat their dry dog food unless I sprinkle our table food in their bowls. So I cooked chicken or beef vegetables soup to mix with their dry dog foods and they love it. We are the dog lovers
My Maltese lived 15 years, almost a year since she crossed the rainbow bridge … loved her so much, but what a mess … lol … miss that little mess!
Diana Clarkson may her memories live on!
awwwee she's in a better place now :D may her memories live on
Oh dear big loss 😪 i buy in March my girl and i cant live without her for this moment she is whole my world ❤️❤️😘but my first girl (not maltese) died years ago and i hope she is in better place🐾🐾
So sorry for your loss! ❤️ So tough to lose one of our little fur baby loves.
I lost my precious Maltese to heart failure a month ago. He was the best dog and I miss him so much. Sweetest love ever❤️
I just adopted my first maltese puppy. And boy oh boy is he a handful at 3 months old. This video is spot on about their personality traits.
Veronica Almaguer
Hi hun I'm so sorry for your loss I just lost my baby 2 weeks ago and it feels like I can't breathe at times I could just imagine what you're going through and I know it sounds cliche but just try to remember all the love that you gave your baby and the love you got back and let that help you heal even though I know it seems impossible I hope you find some peace and you heal your heart❤
I L O V E Maltese! I've been Blessed to own this breed. I love females, they have big personalities, very loyal and loving. They are very brave and fearless. My "Lucy" lived 11 years...miss her very much. Great video, thank you! 🐾🐾
So short. Why can’t god give these beautiful creatures at least 30 years.
My Maltese is only 4.5 pounds and she's much more personable than i ever expected. Sbe was expensive and worth every penny.
I love my dog as well. no shedding, or anything. he was expensive as well but its worth it because they are so cute and sweet!
@Aleine Çıbıkçı awe how sweet!! I really think older rescues are the best they are so loving n appreciative of attention!
Wow I got my Maltese for free
Jennifer Santana from where??
I love, love, love the Maltese🥰 I’ve had two and want another one as they are loving & lovable, sweet, intelligent, cuddly & fun!
My Maltese died last year 2019 in September she was 20 years old. I got a new little Maltese she part of a show line and easy work with!
I am sure u miss your Maltese who have just passed on left u with great memories of fun and laughter the are Considered blessed pet
💕
OMG, sorry for your loss.. Mine went to doggy heaven 1 year ago, & I haven't been able or willing to have another pet. I'm still mourning/hurting😥
Аleksei Dawn Gren I hope mine can live that long, she’s turning 13🥺
@@veronicaalmaguer1916 I know what you mean, I lost my Prince the day after Easter last year. He was 15 and was the 2nd love of my life. My husband died and 2 years later I adopted Him, He had Pancreatitis. I cant get over losing him, I cry every day.
Thank you for the information.
my maltese tried barking away this giant husky in a mall once, the husky just looked at him and then walked away so i can attest to them being fearless lmao
Yes mine scares away bigger dogs aswell. Also sniffs others and don't let others sniff her. A bit egoistic. 😂
I love allergies free and don’t shed, I got him from the adoption center at 10 yrs old, I was surprised how active and playful he is, I don’t believe in crates, my home is their home. I am so happy I love him so much. He is a joy to our family
She wakes up, sleeps on my moms bed, sleeps on the floor, sleep on the couch, then eat, the sleep on my bed

Try adding an ounce of sardines or tuna to his meals. The dog food does not provide enough energy.
My Maltese is named pinball . She is the best thing that ever happened to me I was diagnosed with parkinson's disease and got depressed got her and she's the best therapy I've had yet
Pinball. Cute. I bought my wife one but he s got me under his little finger lol
My 1st Maltese made me love all canines in general. She has been gone for over 4 years but I think about her everyday and she is buried in a beautiful pet cemetery. Now have a 2 year old Maltese that I got when she was a baby and have showered her with love ever since!
C Estrada
Is it in Hartsdale Ny. My babies are there and the family are the best people.. I just lost my precious CC 2 weeks ago and it's so hard but knowing that she's buried there is such a comfort and knowing how well the family took care of her in the process has helped heal some of my pain but I miss her so desperately
Bella my 2 yr. old Maltese is a blessing ! Grateful that I rescued her.
my maltese is scared of EVERYTHING. every little noise, new people, dogs etc. you name it she's scared of it.😂
You need to socialize your dog
🤣🤣🤣
My Maltese is scared of flies lol

I had my precious little three pound Maltese for 18 yrs. she was perfect and I still miss her!🐾🐾😍
Awe sorry shes gone but I'm sure 18 years was worth every second of life you shared with her was AMAZING
Can you refer me to where you bought her? I'm in Los Angeles but will travel.
My Maltese named Brooklyn is very peaceful. She is beautiful and a excellent companion. She relates to human's well.
I Luv My 9 Year Old Maltichon Timmy & He thinks He's a Pitiful & Timmy is Fearless
I almost died from the adorableness 😍😍😂 I think I might have to get one of these 🥺
For me the Maltese is the BEST breed, loving, funny, playful, did I say loving? And for my 7 pound little girl fearless is an understatement😆
my older one she has such an alpha personality, no matter where we go & what size of a dog is there, she establishes her dominance & makes sure the other dog realizes & accepts that she is the boss.
Sorry for your loss. My Maltese is bat ish crazy but i love him. If he likes u great but hes stranger danger when outside.
my maltese just passed away today.....she's been with me for 4 years......i miss her so much......i can't stop crying...
Oh I am so sorry!!!
why 4 years? don't they get to be like 10 years
Me too our maltese died because he wont stop pooping blood and then he passed away yesterday my siblings cant stop crying... he was with us for only 3 months.... so short😔

They are fiercely loyal and protective, super intelligent, and can be quite stubborn and headstrong... I've had other breeds, but my maltese were the BEST dogs I had ever had.
My maltese always jump anywhere and she wants all my attentions.Always followed me everywhere in my condo.🐶😂She’s so cute and a sweetheart.🥰
Never leave them alone in the yard. They are very delicate dogs and can hurt themselves. They are wonderful. We have a Maltipoo. Keep their eyes clean, too.
How do u keep their eyes clean?
How do you clean their eyes?
Warm water and soft cotton pads, then use a small fine tooth comb gently on the area around their eyes. Takes the boogers right out.
My maltese dog, snow is very friendly to all. She love her toys when i say where's the ball, get it, she immediately finds and get it for you.😀 she is a happy dog!
awww. im gonna get a maltese soon . thxs for the beautiful info

Aww I love you and Your channel
I call my dog security, because he follows where ever I go, he comes in between my husband when my hubby shows me affection. He barks when we are playing around(We got our Maltese when we started dating). He’s defiant, smart, funny and inpatient he has a love hate relationship with my husband. I tell him to stay in the bed when I go down stairs, I can hear him walking near the stairs, because of his bell. Whenever he hears me walking near the stairs he goes run to his bed , like he was their the entire time.
That is the cutest I really want a Maltese one question though is it fine to buy a Maltese for your apartment. Will it be too cramped
I have a Maltese! He is very crazy and is 1 year old. Thanks for the facts!😃
I cant live without my maltese bela❣️
My Maltese is named Bella too what a small world
Ayyy that’s crazy me too
I know how you feel when my Maltese dog Nui passed away I felt like I couldn't go on without her and I found out the best remedy for me was to get another Maltese dog it was only about 4 months before we got our dog Angel and she helped me to get over losing my dog Nui and she has brought us so much joy and happiness I wish I could have gotten Angel sooner because I was so sad when Nui had passed away and bringing Angel into our Home helped me get over the grief I had been going through.
I can't believe it was the right direction to buy Angel she was what I needed to feel good about life again!

If you are looking for a small furbaby I can say the Maltese is the most wonderful-loyal-loving breathing animal II have ever experienced. RIP Sweet Boy! ❤️
Layla Dawg I’m sorry for your loss😢 I loss my poodle he was 17 yrs old just last august ! I now have a Maltese mix she’s sweet and just turned 1 yr old
Only issue is she sheds . I hope u get a fur baby soon to help ease your pain
It takes time even with a new fur baby
Edit : Her name is Lola
I understand just how you feel. Through my life , I've had several dogs that I loved very much , but accepted that they ad lived a good life when they passed away. My last one was Franklin , a little 6 lb Maltese whom I loved dearly . There was the strongest bond I ever had . He lived to 15 in good health until the last few months of his life. He loved to go on the 5 hour drive to my daughter's in East Texas . He'd sleep on the way and must have recognized when we got into town , because he'd wake right up and watching out the window as we made the winding turns to her home.
Hi-Thank You! Sorry for the passing of your furbaby! ❤️ Generally, Maltese do not shed ... it must be the mixed part! What is Lola mixed with?
Hi- I am also Sorry for the passing of your Sweet Franklin! Are you going to get another Maltese?

I own 3 Maltese dogs and this video is very accurate.
Gentle, loving, obedient and fearless... that's totally my Zuko. He is the sweetest boy. ♥️
This breed gives so much affection! I named mine Faith. 🎉What a blessing to bring just about everywhere.
I NEED TO GET ANOTHER ONE. I MISS MY LIL' MAN!
I had one when I was a kid. It lived to be 12 years old. I think he weighed ~14 pounds so obviously spoiled. Smart dog.
I love this video!!! I’ve been trying to decide what small dog I’d love to get and this video informed my decision 😄💙🥺
Hope you got one?
I'm not a dog lover, but I have just qualified as a fitness instructor, and my coach would bring her Maltese dog into our class. I absolutely fell in love with the dog. Hence why I'm on this page, ffs lol.

My Luna-pie has been with us for 3 years now and I can't imagine my life without her. I have never met such an affectionate, loving, playful, sweet and overall just incredible dog. If you're thinking of getting a maltese, I have only one thing to tell you... DO IT.
Always had toy poodles
But not a toy maltese..he is just like this video. Wonderful.
I agree
I have the most adorable Maltese and the cutest dog ever lived. I love her so much.

"My Toby" my sweet, angel Maltese was my Best Boy! I loved (love) him so and he returned that love a thousand fold in so many ways! He was so very very gentle, and so fearless too!,
When our older dog who became cranky would bark, almost snap at Toby when he walked by, Toby would just stroll around again, right in front
of him!
Yet, as stated, gentle as a lamb!
My Toby developed epilepsy, and suffered so! One evening into the
next day, he suffered so many seizures, he was "just a shell," the
vet told us. To this day I miss him still and it's been over two years!
They steal yr heart, so please,
please, God, let All Dogs Go To Heaven. I read once we grieve for
our furbabies often the same as for people in our lives. This is due to "people connections" being complicated very often, and not
so With Our Furbabies!!!
Long live ALL YOUR FURBABIES!!!
GOD BLESS US ALL, THEM TOO!!!!!!!!
