    Some great ideas. I used the idiom poster creation with my language learners after introducing them and explaining their meaning. Thanks for sharing the various games with students! One thing about Hangman, I continue adding more detail so the man never hangs in the end: add crosses to the eyes, drawing some hair, etc.

    Hi Mr please suggest warm up activities to teach part of speech

    • @etacude
      @etacude  Год назад

      Sure, here's an activity to teach parts of speech to young ESL learners:
      Parts of speech sorting: Prepare a set of word cards that includes nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. Give each student a set of the cards and ask them to sort the words into their respective categories. To make it more fun, you could make it into a game and see who can sort the words the fastest or who has the most correctly sorted cards.
      Parts of speech charades: Write down different words on slips of paper and put them in a hat or bowl. Have each student draw a word and act out the word without speaking. The other students must guess what part of speech the word is (e.g., if the word is "run," the other students should guess that it is a verb).
      Parts of speech story: Give each student a sheet of paper with a story starter on it (e.g., "One sunny day, a cat ____________."). Ask the students to fill in the blank with a different part of speech (e.g., noun, verb, adjective, or adverb) and then continue the story. Once the students have completed their stories, have them share their stories with the class and identify the different parts of speech used.
      Parts of speech bingo: Create bingo cards with different parts of speech (e.g., one square might say "noun," another might say "verb," etc.). Give each student a bingo card and a set of word cards. Call out words from the set, and the students should mark the corresponding part of speech on their bingo cards. The first student to get a line or a full card wins.
      These are just a few ideas, but there are many other fun and engaging activities you could try to teach parts of speech to young ESL learners. The key is to make the activities interactive and enjoyable so that the students stay engaged and have fun while they learn.
