Love these videos. I just bought some oil paints to try on my minis this weekend. Going to be following your guides pretty closely. Thank you for sharing!
That is a bit intimidating to hear. What if you're not happy with the result you might blame me for misleading you into spending money on oil paints 😆 Please keep in mind that by this point I've used oils in various ways for about two years and had less successful experiences along the way. But with that in mind it is awesome to hear that you have the curiosity to try!
@@honestminis9530 don't worry, I was going to get them anyway for washes. I just hadn't realized how much utility they could provide. I did a little experimenting with them last night. there will definitely be more of a learning curve than I expected lol but that's just part of the fun. thanks again for the videos.
A whole unit of these guys will look great (of course one by himself also looks great but a unit will be even better). I actually really like this more static version of the warriors of chaos compared with the more dynamic pose…they are also very good but these guys look more menacing. I do love having the variety we currently can get. I’ve just gotten my chaos battalion box but it will still be a little bit before I can paint them up. I am looking forward to doing them as a project but have a bunch of stuff to paint first (nearly finished my Vampires, followed I think with the finishing up of Bretonnians and then Dwarfs)
I really prefer the style of these but I just wish they would be modular like the old ones 😕 It sounds wise to finish the others first and stop should I!
@@honestminis9530 that is very true, if they were more modular with the similar pose that would have been perfect. Well if it was up to me I would suggest keep going 😂. I try to have some discipline but it can be hard not to just open my wallet lol. I am disciplined with painting though and stick with the one project at a time to ensure I have something I can use
