This Zulema character must have cut a deal with the prosecution to gain immunity in exchange for her testimony, otherwise she would have been charged as a co-conspirator and accessory to these crimes. It’s absurd and annoying how the prosecutors and the investigators who interviewed her all treat her like a child and speak to her as if she’s so fragile. She’s a grown woman who has been married several times and has adult children. This sickly sweet act she puts on is just furtherance of her grift. She’s a liar just as every other person who claims to be psychic and the childlike act she plays is to gain trust so she can con people out of money. She’s not meek or mild she’s devious and dishonest on every level.

I couldn’t agree with you more. She is up to her neck in it and should be prosecuted. It’s absolutely despicable how she will get away with her part in this. Those who knew what was going on, Melanie, Zulema etc could of prevented al those who were murdered. They are all guilt. Let’s just hope that Karma catches up with them.

🐑 yes, however South American people believe in all these things like demon possession etc. however I think they built Z up so she would take out A. And they wanted to worship c and L so she did what her most important mission they told her about . In my humble opinion of course. Also if you think an angel came down from heaven and spoke with JOSEPH SMITH! And that said smith dude could only read some gold tablets with a seeing stone. And no one else saw said tablets. You can fall for anything. Just my opinion. If the LDS people
Took a step back they would realize god isn’t the center of their very organized ritualistic religion but a man, Joseph Smith seems to be their messiah. Sick and wrong. If you read the Bible and are a believer (I study religion, I do not partake) then you would know the Bible says you cannot add or detract from the scriptures.

It’s LDS at its very core. Here’s a quote from the church’s third prophet: “You may dig your graves and we will slay you and you may crawl into them.” Nov. 8, 1857. (Journal of Discourses, Vol. v, p. 34-)
John Taylor (1 November 1808 - 25 July 1887) was an English-born religious leader who served as the third president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

      Here’s a book review:
      The Avenging Angel of Mormonism
Reviewed in the United States on August 20, 2021
The Danites were a 19th Century secret group of Mormons who terrorized the enemies of the Church. They included men like Bill Hickman, John D. Lee and their chief, Orrin Porter Rockwell. The Danites were known to harass, intimidate, steal from and kill the foes of the LDS Church. Rockwell is assumed to be the one who attempted to assassinate former Missouri Governor Boggs. This book covers Rockwell's life and activities so much as they can be pieced together. Early Mormon doctrine included the curious concept of "Blood Atonement" wherein a wayward Saint's blood had to be shed to wash away his sins. Slitting the throat was a favorite method used in Danite justice. A less holy way was to ambush someone and shoot them in the back. Danite murders were often blamed on Indians. Once Brigham Young set up his theocratic rule in Utah few apostates from the church made it out of the Great Basin alive. Gentile travelers were often exploited, taxed, robbed and even killed as they passed through the territory. Rockwell might have been responsible for as many as 100 killings. Though authorities might charge him, no Mormon jury would ever convict him. He grew his hair and beard long because "Holy" Joe Smith told him he could never be harmed by a bullet if he did. To make sure, he never faced his prey or gave them any chance to defend themselves. This book has extensive references, but the footnoting isn't very detailed. None of the pictures from the print version are in the E-book. A great read for the Mormon historian, not much appreciated by actual Mormons.

As if to indicate that many people use the language mechanism, just perhaps not in such an extreme manner. It think it is actually an attempt by the witness at exaggerating her lack of fluency in English, so it can be used as excusing her comprehension of what the accused were conspiring to do. The witness is trying to appear as though she doesn't understand the English language therefore she is searching for the correct words and uses 'um' as a placeholder until she comes up with the correct word. I'm not buying it, the 'ums' are just more of her con, as is the innocent, child like voice and demeanor. It's all just more of her con and grift. Unless she did when she went back in to get the purse and alex made her. Didn't she say lori left right as shots went off and then made Tylee go back in, and she saw what Alex did and she hit Alex out of rage or he told her that if she didn't they'd all go to jail and she'd be saving the family. Making her do an act is insurance for Alex and Lori that she stays quiet. I think if she complied with their wishes though, she wouldn't be considered dark. She'd be seen as light and on their side. Regardless, tylee and jj did not deserve to die and it hurts me every time I think about it. My kids are 14 and 4 and I could never even think of hurting them, let alone think of someone else doing it for me like lori did. I read one of Chad's books, simply in an attempt to understand his mind. That book had extremely violent content. It shocked me. Chad played the role of gentle giant, but he is a vile individual. He lusted after Lori from the moment he met her. He unalived his wife and, with Alex, disposed of Tylee and JJ. Within days of his wife's death, he announced that his "new girlfriend" was hot and loaded. With such a toxic duo, it was never going to end well. Lori’s niece Melani Bordeaux was very active in alienating Charles from Brandon’s help and support by characterising him as angry and paranoid and even abusive, and explicitly saying he should be avoided. Brandon only realised, the day he himself was shot at, that Charles’s fears were justified.
She and other of these witnesses, meanwhile knew there was indeed homicidal intent against both Charles and JJ. In fact an *attempt* on their lives, as she understood the situation.

I do not know if Zulema caused the death of Alex Cox. From my understanding, she was not present when he died on her bathroom floor surrounded by his own excrement, and the coroner's report indicated the cause of his death was pulmonary embolism. This isn't uncommon and could be due to many factors, not excluding increased stress brought on by fear of being convicted of murder. Perhaps he had a brief moment of conscience and the guilt got to him and he offed himself.
I personally do not respect religious beliefs, as these ideas represent the most infantile of human comprehension, and as none of them are based on any evidence provided through the scientific method, any ridiculous proposition may be cultivated. This case is the result of the types of juvenile fantasies found in most religions.

Now I am a massage therapist and I have a table made especially for massage therapy. My lotions and oils have never stained my sheets.. .so was he trying to kill her?

I agree with you wholeheartedly. Its really annoying and frustrating. Almost makes me not want to even attempt to listen to anymore of this terrible audio and just wait for the book and movie to come out.

I cannot believe it ended like that. 😩 Def atty just walked Zulema to the edge and did NOTHING!! How anti-climatic. He’s right there talking about how these entire castes are all “verbal” (so no real harm can be done keeping things so innocent), yet she’s admitted that the body has to die for real, but he doesn’t go there. Ugh!! Now Zulema has a 3-day weekend to prepare to downplay the rest of her testimony. The State better re-direct and get Z to explain. And somebody/anybody BETTER make Z explain to the Jury the text she sent to Chad within 24 hours of Tammy dying saying God is “wonderful” and that she’s already had a vision of helping a bride in white getting ready to marry him. 😤🤯

@Stirling Nash I don’t approve of cult type religions and I’m agnostic ( just incase ) with a huge dash of atheism.
I think most religion is crowd control.
Some churches do some good deeds for the community etc
Personally I can be charitable by my own choice . I don’t need a place or rules to guide me in being kind .
I still think it’s down to personal choice whether you worship or join a religion.
As long as I’m not having their point of view rammed down my throat , I’m ok with them doing as they believe.
Sounds awful re Alex’s condition re his demise . I didn’t know Zumela wasn’t there , thanks for that .
Stress is a killer . Thinking of that , I’m now not surprised.
I don’t know if I’ve fully explained myself clearly re religion here but I hope you get the gist of my thoughts etc .
I’m an open minded and each to their own type of person but would not condone any cruel or wicked actions under the guise of religion etc.
This trial reveals some shocking events and exposes the wicked actions of others . I’m reading chat to fill in some blanks in this case as it’s hard to watch everything .
I hope justice is served for the poor victims . I feel very sad for everyone hurt by these evil events .
I’ve certainly am learning about what can lie underneath the facade of religion when in the wrong hands .

Ok, except religions have never been benign, and the most fundamentally religious societies in the world today have the worst quality of life and the least human rights. The societies today that are the most secular have the highest quality of life and the greatest human rights. It's simply a fact.

I've got the playback speed on 1.75 and there are still huge spaces, many many seconds long, zulema just zoning out or whatever it is she's doing. I don't know who deemef her appropriate for being a witness but I think she should have just made a statement , some sort of affidavit, and entered into the record. She just was not witness appropriate

3:35:24 OMG!! Did Zulema just say under oath on the witness stand she keeps a journal? For the very first time I feel a little grace. I was always so furious that these people KNEW how important their testimonies are (MG and ZP, and hopefully MP), yet they constantly claim they don’t remember. MG wrote a book for Christ sake, u think she could jot down a few key notes and dates to get justice for these murder victims. 😤

I wonder what the church that these people were apart of thinks about all these radical beliefs and their actions with castings and meetings outside of the church in the name of Jesus Christ.
