Atheists Are Taking Too Big a Risk - Why Chance It?

  • God’s Magnitude is Awesome. He is everywhere in everything we see. Atheists who deny God are gambling with their eternity. How many people have told you God is real and that you are a created being? Yet you choose to believe that you have no purpose, that you were formed by accident. If Natural selection was true, would many of us even be here? Some of you believe in the devil but not God. Some of you think this life is the real hell. My friend if you think this is bad, you are in for an eternal shock, reeling with an unimaginable hopelessness. Some of you even joke that you are going to hell. My heart aches for you. My heart longs for you to open your eyes and see that God is real. The Bible has never been disproved. In fact, archeological evidence repeatedly reveals more and more evidence that proves the historical events in the Bible really happened. Why would God create men to pen down all this evidence and then throw a curveball in the middle of it? God is pure, He cannot and will not lie. If you value your life, if it is time to WAKE UP and value your eternity too. Then this life will stop feeling Hellish and you will never fear death again.

Pascals wager is broken in full. Any god that threatens people to make people believe in it is not a god that uses logic, thus you can't trust it.

@DeconvertedMan He doesn’t threaten people to make them believe. He’s a loving God. So this is how it goes:
God loves you so much that He sent His son Jesus, leaving the place of Glory to become human and undergo every test that we have faced. Then He gave Himself as a sacrifice taking all of the evil of the world into Himself so we can come into relationship with our creator.
He invites us to humble ourselves, acknowledge His omniscience and recognise our own self destructive ways so that we can, with His presence in our lives, turn away from selfish behaviours and self seeking pleasure and instead become pure and wholesome beings.
His words are not threats. He teaches us about the long term and eternal consequences of remaining on our own, without Him.
Just like when you tell your child for example in a dangerous place: “Hold my hand and do not let go so you don’t get kidnapped or killed”. You are not forcing child to hold your hand for own benefit, it’s for the child’s benefit.
Same with God. He doesn’t need us, we need Him. We need to hold His hand because the consequences if we don’t are awful.

@@BeingHisCreation Yes, it is a threat. If you do not believe (X) is true then something bad will happen. That is an appeal to a threat.
Its not like your analogy at all. I dislike going into analogy because it can be broken apart but if we are to go that root then this would be a better analogy via story.
You wake up and find yourself in a room with thousands of doors, there is a book in front of each door. Each book makes claims about what is behind the door behind it.
You have a limited time, about three days before you die of thirst, so you do not have time to read all thousand of the books.
You do not know if any of the doors even leads to freedom or not, but the first book you found said that the other doors lead to instant death. You don't know that is true either, it very well could be that every door is safe, unsafe, or locked. There is no way to know anything about what is behind the doors only that seems to be the only way out of this room.
Now, how do you pick what door to open? Does it help if one of the books says the other doors will lead you to instant death?
No, as you start reading one of the other books it also makes that claim about the other doors. It claims that its door leads not only to freedom but to riches beyond belief.
A third book claims that any door will work, but the door that its near is just easier to open slightly then the other doors.
      Time is ticking.
      I've made the room.
I've put you in the room.
I've also made this puzzle for you.
What sort of person would you think I am having done this?
Would you think that I'm a good or bad person?
That story is far closer to the issue at hand. The god you are proposing has made the room and the doors - that is -this mortal life and the "doors" are what you have to pick from to choose what you think what door will lead to something good, rather then something bad, and you have a limited time to make that choice.
The system in full is made by the god in question and presents itself as the only way to get the reward, but other systems are also claimed to be made by god and also claim there system is the only way in.
What we can know is that no perfectly logical being would set up a system like this. No perfectly logical being with threaten people with something bad in order to try to compel them into its system, more so it would not do so if it knew that other books would make other claims.
I know all too well the xtan ideas of "salvation" your incoherent god has a part of itself die for itself in order to forgive itself from making the broken system and only by accepting that claim can you get the good stuff.
Yeah that sounds like something incoherent a human would come up with.
The system is flawed, broken and incoherent from top to bottom and no perfectly logical being would make such a system.
Therefor after analysis of the being in question I must conclude that although the book CLAIMS it to be a perfect being - that it not talking about a perfect being due to the system(s) that are in place around the world, I can also discount any and every other system that does that - no perfect being would make this sort of system.
Therefor, that perfect being did not make the system. Perhaps then the perfect being does not exist or perhaps this isn't the system the perfect being came up with, in either case I must reject this system since its full of logical issues.

@@BeingHisCreation There is no good, credible, extra-biblical, contemporary evidence that the "Jesus" character, as he is described in the New Testament, existed. None. god wants to be my friend or wants my worship or whatever eh? well I can't do that since I can not see god, hear god, feel god, smell god, touch god or in anyway verify there is a god at all, so I can't really have a relationship with something I can't even know is a thing can I? Very incoherent ideas.

This is the problem my friend. When we start relationships with people; we don’t know everything about them. If we start a relationship or friendship online all points of your argument are valid. It is only through spending time with that person that we grow to know and love them. It takes time to develop a relationship. And so God is simply inviting you into a relationship with Him so you can grow to know and love Him. I can assure you as a former atheist, that Gods presence and love are tangible. I learn to see God by studying the Word, I hear Him and feel his presence when I pray and though I can’t touch God I know that he touches me by holding me in His arms. I’m telling you God is real. Why would I bother making this video otherwise?

@@BeingHisCreation Yes, you have a BELIEF that this is true, but the argument isn't a good argument, its based on feelings, impressions and subjective ideas you hold. That’s the point of Faith… Belief in that which can’t be seen. Take a look at your Body, the intelligence that you have, the intricate way in which your body works. This is not some accident, you are not some accident. I have plenty of evidence God is real. I see His miracles in my life every day. He speaks to me Every day. It is when you make the decision to believe that your eyes are opened and then the evidence is ‘evident’, undeniable. Go back to my first video on here watch that, then watch this video and you will see the evidence right there . God Bless you my friend.

@@johnhammond6423 there is insurmountable archeological evidence that the events in the Bible really happened. Why then would a Holy Scripture include all these events as ordained by a Holy God if it were not true. The writers of the books of the Bible were not idiots. They were men of stature, intelligent people with careers; kings, prophets, the leaders of the early church, and the greatest known patriarchs to have walked the earth. Why would they discredit themselves by writing nonsense, and how is it that writings that span several thousands of years have so many thousands of verifiable cross references while many of the original writings weren’t even discovered until more recent times? So I ask you, can you disprove God? You are thinking very much with a natural and small mind, though I commend you for being willing to open it. I was a hopeless English, crystal meth addict 5 years ago. I was on the brink of death. I have unsuccessfully battled addiction my entire adult life. When I was all out of options and I cried out to God for help, help came. When I pray, many coincidences happen, when I don’t pray, they don’t. So yes go back and watch my very first video when I was battling Crystal meth addiction and compare that to the person I am today. How did I get clean and stay clean? Through a relationship with God, who guides me through life and my decision making. Because of whom, I never feel alone any more. I no longer have panic attacks about death. I have seen people healed from cancer following prayer. My friends little boy was dying 6 weeks ago, doctors told them to say goodbye so I got a prayer team praying so over the world and the boy is now on a general ward where before he was being kept alive by machines. I can go on and on. But as Jesus first public words say, “come and see” for yourself. What have you got to lose by simply inviting Jesus to be over your life and saying you’re sorry for doing things the world’s way? After all, if God isn’t real, then it’s only words right?
