If you're thinking about buying the Sigma 18-55mm f/1.8 lens for the Canon 80D, think twice. It's known to have focusing issues caused by the firmware used. I keep checking forums to see if the problem has been fixed but it's been a good 6 years and I don't see anyone saying that it's been fixed. Yes, Sigma offers a dock to adjust the lens for your specific camera, but users still have trouble with the lens and camera pairing.
@@digitalcamera-hq3558 what can you tell me about the canon 18-135 and the 55-250 i mean they're affordable and under 200 bucks but i was told not to buy them cause they're trash. my canon 80d came with no lenses and i went and bought the 16-35 L series lens and the 50mm lens but i want to try a different lenses

I use the 10-18mm, 15-85mm, and 18-135mm for different day time usage, and for the evening Sigma 17-50mm, f/2.8 or 30mm, f/1.4
