Yes Sam, some lovely shots in here. Can't wait until we can do this again soon! Glad you liked the 80d.
Hello. It's been many years since the 80D/77D came out, but I'm asking myself the same question. Now I have a Canon 600D, and I no longer lack its capabilities (of course, still 😅). I choose between 77D and M50. My main task is to shoot photos (I want to shoot commercials: portraits, custom family scenes, and some street photography). The video is most likely secondary (although I don’t know for sure). There is no money for a full frame yet. What do you recommend from these two devices? The bad ergonomics of the M50 and the lack of control buttons, as it is on the 77D, scares me. However, they tell me from everywhere: "2023, buy a mirrorless camera (they mean M50)"
11:35 that reflection is DOPE !!! :O
This was my 2nd camera & I can tell you: this is a *great budget camera*
Slap a sigma 18-35mm 1.8 on there and you are golden
Did u have any focus issues with the sigma or bang on pics when you used it. Some people have issues some don't. Looking into the lens but checking reviews first
@@amardaman3371 yes I indeed used to have that. I never went to have it adjusted for my camera, so I don’t know what the best result could have been.
I think all of your recent povs with different cameras proves that there are lots of great cameras about, and they don't dictate style, quality or content. Great shots as always!
9:38: the person in the hat!? I was begging you'd take the shot! amazing video as ever! p.s. loving the presets, amazing and would recommend for anyone to try!! CMSL!
Real sick shots mate! Before I went mirrorless with Sony I was heavily considering the 80D and this is definitely why. Absolute bangers as usual
Love the pov vids man they're great 👌
On the photos you put on the screen that you’ve just taken please add the ISO, Aperture and shutter speed settings you used for them pictures.
Honestly I’ve found this doesn’t actually help, here’s why.
The current lighting I am shooting at does not and will not be the same as where others shoot. So when they try to imitate the settings and it doesn’t work it create frustration and dms coming my way.
What’s easier is to understand the camera you’re using which I am aiming to help people do.
What I will be doing in povs going forward is talking the settings im using and why I chose those settings for environment im in as this will be more beneficial if someone wants to replicate.
Hope my logic makes sense.
@@Opticalwander i agree with you sam
Why? It will not apply to your camera and location due to light differences. Mike Browne says he doesn't display settings because they're useless to you.
@@Opticalwander What the sensor generation, used in Nikon or Canon DSLR's (models of cameras with year of their production), should i buy, to take pictures with the minimun of noise at ISO 1200-1600 and 1/250 shutter speed, with kit lens (the F/ number need to be 4.0-5.0 ) for this light conditions, like in this video or for light conditions, such as cloudy days of winter in December and in January?
To be not expensive, so-called proven workhorses of the past. May be Nikon d7000 or D7100, i like the Nikon DSLR's crop. Nikon d500 is modern (2016) overly advanced and expensive.
If you know about mirrorless systems and their sensor genetations, please, advice the mirrorless camera system with kit lens 20-50 3.5-5.6 or 50-150 3.5-5.6.
PS I've asked fundamental questions. You can make a video answer.
Another great review & pov. Loved the way along with review you get into your creative process of getting different perspective and framing, helps a lot to learn. Keep such sick videos coming!
The one at 9 22 is so cool. Even the dark clouds look incredible
re-watching the POV rn cuz it's amazing
You make it look so effortless! and in manual mode as well, kudos man, awesome work.
Very very Nice 🤩🤩 awesome pics! I love London! Maybe a POV here soon! Good work 👌
Premise and usage question posed at vid start answered very well by “doing” w/o hype.👍 Impressive images. Don’t recall seeing YT post of ‘tog wearing gloves like that while shooting. Not expected - used cam touch screen too w/gloves w/o issues it appears. Stylish also - gloves and shoes both yellow😁. Got your wish for rain, plus a hot chocolate - that’s what I’d call a good session. Cheers!
A ton of fun watching you work! Really got alot of good ideas thanks!!!
This is dope. I am also a street photographer here on the Philippines but I don't have enough lens, I only got sigma 70-300mm and using Canon 60D still have a descent output though.
Another video yayyy!
Enjoyed these shots very much.
THE 80D ROCKS LOL great video mate, love the 'up' shots
This is my camera (the one I use) you got some amazing shots dude glad I found your channel! Imagine buying that camera and trying to start a travel/vlog channel in 2020 haha I use the 10-18mm lens
Nice work with this clip. Appreciate you sharing so many pointers with the shots you captured of London. You showed off some top photo locations. Agree, the Canon 80D is a solid starter camera. Also try the Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 lens it works well with the 80D. Cheers again
Heading out with my 80D now
2:36 👍👍👍
Those shutter speeds sound slow - you must have a very steady hand! I have both the 80D and the uber-wide lens, but in Nova Scotia, in our 2-stop-light little town with nothing higher than 2 story buildings, it's hard to make use of it. Love seeing your part of the world through the pov videos.
Excellent work Sam! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
the best photography i've ever seen keep it up sam, love from morroco❤
Great shots Sam! The reflection shots were amazing!!
Whoa! I'm not sure where you live, but it's beautiful! I'd be taking pics like every 5 ft. Lol. Awesome video!
love your photos mate, great vision!
12:07 dude that's an ill location 😳
Lot of high rising buildings are out of place in London. Wonder how it changes in next 20 years.
Like your shots and edits, well done.
Excellent shot man!
I love that lens I still use it on my eos r
Loved the photos!
Mike is awesome
Love ur pov videos keep up ❤️
I Started My Street Photography Journey With The Canon 30D
Over All I Think The 10 , 20 ,30D Lineup All Are Nice To Use Even Though They Belong To Canon History
Well It Will Be Nice If You Can Do Some Kind oF A Challenge Using This Type oF Old DSLR For Street Photography
I Think This Will Encourage Many Ones To Start Their Street Photography Journey Without Being Worried About Having A Very Experience Gear So They Can Enter The Massive Street Photography World
So What Do You Think Sam
Omg... Dude plz do more videos with budget cameras, if you can.
Maybe try some Fujifilm cams ?
I’m looking into the 90D but the 80D is pretty good aswell
First hello again optical wander
Loads of reflection shots, but that very last one and that inception shot of St Paul's is simply amazing! Really like your (new?) colourgrading on the shots. They're more moody and less blue right? :) Anyway really "sick" shots :)
i love your channel dude.
Thank you 🙏
Content suggestion how you edit your night photography ❤️
Bro, you could explain more about the settings that you are using such as ISO etc... For more info
I had the 80d before I switched to the A7III and it was a great camera. I sold it for a Sony lens but some days I wish I would have kept it
Awesome Video mate!! I wonder how you manage to take sharp shots with only one hand without the tripod?
Great vid!
Great video :). The 80D looks like a great camera :). Could you do a camera bag review please? im after a new one and wanted to see what was out there
Hey I use the Canon eos 60d and wanted to know what your opinion is about the camera
Hey man how do you make your screen show what your shooting mine stays black but I’d like to see what I’m taking a picture of through the screen
I didn't know if DSLR could change f stop in real time while live view is turned on, my Nikon doesn't have that feature. Why's that?
Great photos, I have nikon d7500 which is almost same camera with the d80, what lens did you use there?😀
My first camera with the 18-135 USM lens. Worked a treat for pics and video work with IS on the lens.
11:37 wow
Can you give some of the locations for the pictures e.g the st paul ones and that staircase opposite the shard please
10:25 that crispness tho
the plane shot is insane asfuck
How much timing and luck do you need to get this shot 🙈 amazing 👍🏼
Almost too good lol
I have this camera, I just haven’t had the chance to use it much due to covid.
How about taking pictures of the Monument as well? Or have you already?
hey bro amazing content i just got the chance to see your channel, I have a question can you tell me which camera that you're using to record the video like first-person camera, wish you well
can you use the canon rebel t7i on one of your videos? i just currently purchased one, and i want to see the cool photos you can take with it!
Hello what type the len do use? And ND filter?
Do you only recommend it for begginers or you think it's great enough for more advance photographers/ filmmakers?
I'm a new photographer and looking to get into street and city architecture photography but can't decide between the 80d and the 250d what would you suggest?
Hey! Love the work and you edits are amazing! Could you maybe do a video on How you edit your photos ? 🙌🏻❤️
Yes for sure 🙏
What settings do you use to get your shots clear??? I had to shoot with a wide aperture to get enough light for some my shots!
What is the lenses he used? And what is the thing on the lens
Are the pictures you showed up in the video edit at all or just as they were captured?
Great vid as always. What lense on the canon ?
I use a 750d. The sigma 17-50mm 2.8 is a great lens for apsc.
And great video!
Hi, thanks for the vid. How much post. editing did you do the pictures? thanks
Haha is it a good budget camera. Let me tell ya. If the new one costs around 800 euros. Atleast where i am from. Its not a BUDGET camera. You can get an newer 2000D from 2018 which has 24.something megapixels just like the 80D (i know i know the lens is the key factor to the image quality). Maybe 80D has more options. But trust me. The 2000D is a beast of a camera. So is the 80D. But still. For the price i take 2000D.
Sick video , are you still shooting in lockdown?
Which better for photograpy? 80d or 250d(sl3)?
Try to make a same video with a Nikon d7500 pleaseee!!! :D

I choose between 77D and M50. My main task is to shoot photos (I want to shoot commercials: portraits, family scenes on order, and some street photography). The video is most likely secondary (although I don’t know for sure). There is no money for a full frame yet. What do you recommend from these two devices?
@@stefan_es Ахах. Понял. Окей
What tune you using at the end bro? Sounds wavey
Bro can you please do a street photography with a beginner camera🙏🙏
I've had the 80d for just over a year now and it is an amazing camera. Just wish it had one of those auto focus joy stick buttons that most cameras have nowadays.
90D has that
How is the 6dmk ii ?? I currently own it and want to start street photography:)
Hi, could you do a 90d review please if you can borrow one? 80d is good but no longer produced by canon. Cheers.
what lens do you use?
What about canon 90d ?
What do you think about this camera
@@assoumione1335 even better than the 80D.
3:59 dang that's an ill shot Sam!! Love the contrast!
The Canon 90D is good
si ,pero no es tanta la diferencia con la 80D solo el video 4k
what lens do you have ? 70-200? 18-135?
Thank you very much for sharing, I would also like to ask you which adaptation we can use to mount Lenses such as 50mm EF on the 80d since it has an EFS mount ???
All ef lenses will work on the ef-s cameras
What setting were you shooting on?
Which lens do you have ?
Which mode did you shoot in?
Do a sony a6600
Hey bro, nice pics! I subscribed at this channel when was 2k. I have same gear like yours! Maybe in one day we can go together in center for a session! Good luck!
Mate I think he forgot that the 80D has an articulated screen, really useful for lower shots
people dont really use it unless theres no other option. It can throw u off when angeling your shot if the screen is in a different angle.
add settings for photos, pls
was chosing between 80D and M50, and got M50 with an adapter
light weighted, spot, measurement..
your edits are dope bro!! could you do an editing tutorial please?
Coming soon......
@@Opticalwander Can't wait to see color grading
Awesome video. What lens is on the camera with the rode mic on? I think it’s a sigma just not sure which one...
14-24mm 🙏
@@Opticalwander thank you
Bro what is the price of this cam?
how do you click pics with no pressure man fr?!
