Have you ever actually played it on launch? It was pretty good. Now it's more a "game as a service" thing, with timed content. So: no. I never wanted multiplayer in a game which depicts the loneliness of space on every step. And I didn't care about those promises that were broken. What I certainly didn't want was another base-builder sim with additional features, like Fallout 4 or Conan: Exiles.
@@Wercik997 Fallout 4 would have been much better if settlers could actually defend the settlements themselves, with powered armor and upgraded weaponry. Instead they decided I have to defend it for them every 30 minutes.
I don't get why people are so mean to hello games for that. I mean, more people should be told about the horrendous setbacks they suffered including THEIR ENTIRE STUDIO FLOODING. You would've thought people would take that into consideration more.
Guys, we all know No Man's Sky and Cyberpunk would fit on the list and we all already know the story of those games. I personally would much rather not have to listen to someone say "Cyberpunk buggy at launch but after some updates it good now" for the millionth time. This video is a lot more interesting for not including those games
I disagree with Tales of Symphonia, because it... never got better after the Gamecube's initial release. Wne Bandai Namco ported the game to PS2, they rewrote the code and had to slash the framerate from 60 to 30 fps. To "compensate", they added new stuff, like extra Mystic Artes, combination artes, costumes, titles, items and whatnot. This... branded the PS2 version as the "definitive" version, which they ported on later platforms over the years, with the 30 fps rate. The PC version got screwed, as you mentioned, but what's more aggrevating is that no one can fix it. No mod exists to bring the game back to 60 fps. I'm sorry to say that this entry should be nulled and replaced with either Cyberpunk 2077 or No Man's Sky.
It feels like there could be a second entire video on this topic. I can think of several more examples that fit the bill. I’d be sure to watch it and enjoy it too. 😊
I didn’t think SFV was bad. Small, definitely and missing modes, sure. But what was there was good. There was nothing flawed while actually fighting a match.
honorable mentions (at least in my humblest of opinions)= No Man's Sky, CyberPunk 2077 and, to a much lesser degree, Fallout 76 and Batman :Arkham Knight PC edition.
I've heard that Battlefield 4 Multiplayer was messy as hell, I own the XOne version of BF4, but I didn't have any problems with it. Halo > Destiny Cyberpunk 2077 should've been on this list [no disrespect].
Kinda Like 2001 UPN Series Gary and Mike a failure no doubt but the Unofficial RUclips Channel came along with extra unseen content and series Insight now Gary and Mike Is a Adult Animation victim like Duckman, The Critic, Dilbert, Undergrads, and worst of all Sammy (2000) shows I enjoy equally
Steam version of Bloodlines still softlocked for me in the tutorial on my 1st playthrough. So, no, Vampire: Masquerade - Bloodlines never became good (as in with significantly less amount of bugs).
Dead Island was a very flawed game, It's the ambition of the game at that time that drew me in, I had just came off the back of skyrim and i got sucked in, To be fair throwing the game through The dying light engine did wonders to the 2016 Release it felt closer to a remake than a remaster, Aside from the even worse item placement bugs and some awkward facial animations. I just dont see a reason for using the inhouse chrome engine anymore though techland should jump over to unreal its just time consuming and prolonging development, I dont see a need for it in 2024 when you can achieve more in unreal
I falsely thought this was a list of games that started poorly but later on, during their run time, improved which sounded interesting. Instead it's another "10 games that were released buggy and then got patched list". Boring. Make the other list instead
Release first and fix it later isn’t something that should be expected or tolerated.
💯
Are you talking about children?
That's been the way for games for like 10 years now and I'm sure it will Continue unfortunately
Todd Howard would have a heart attack if he read this comment...
Yea tell the payday team that 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like how they showed multiple clips of fallout 76 then ghosted it.
No Man's Sky should have been here
Yes!!
Probably on the next list.
If you ever make the reverse topic of that list, ironically, Destiny in it's current state would be on THAT list just as well!
*its
I just know NMS is on here. Went from a potato to a delicious potato soup garnished with fancy shit
Was completely expecting however not disappointed they chose others to mention.
I disagree. I think it went from a Potato to a nice Ribeye with a baked potato with butter and chives.

I agree! How many times do people need to hear the same shit about those 2 games
cyberpunk without the bugs is just a generic open world game that gets praised because of how low the bar is set with the launch
I just platinumed Dead Island recently
I disagree with Tales of Symphonia, because it... never got better after the Gamecube's initial release.

Wow I forgot about FF14 and I play that game like crazy lol, knew SF5 would be here though…😅
I didn’t think SFV was bad. Small, definitely and missing modes, sure. But what was there was good. There was nothing flawed while actually fighting a match.
@@Martynde I had no problems with it when it released but the way everyone complained about it I knew it would be here.
Now do "10 good games that became bad eventually".
That could be a veeeeeery long video
@@tymerum And irocinally enough, Destiny would make that list AGAIN!
GTA online
No Man's Sky not being on the list makes the whole list suspect.
I’d say Shadow Warrior 3 should at least be an honourable mention.
Maybe you were deliberately avoiding the obvious (which in fairness makes for fresher content) but was surprised no NMS or Fallout 76.

I was there for the launch of The Division. The wait to the use the laptop was not hours. It was a couple minutes tops.
I've heard that Battlefield 4 Multiplayer was messy as hell, I own the XOne version of BF4, but I didn't have any problems with it.
Halo > Destiny
Cyberpunk 2077 should've been on this list [no disrespect].
Controversial but I enjoyed The Division before the changes
Especially when you were able level you (1-40) instead of the gear score
Was really expecting to see No Man's Sky on a list like this.
🤷♂️
Thank you for not just vomiting out "CYBERPUNK 2077" like many others do for lists like this.
❤ it takes a very good to have a video game ready at times ❤

Or Mission Hill, they got 15 episodes and it's one of the best late 90s-00s animated shows.
Assassin's Creed unity had a lot of bugs and glitches when it first came out 😞
Probably could've mentioned 2 other games as default obvious entries and then present these as slightly more obscure instances.
😄👍
I seriously thought I would see No Man's Sky on here. Way to subvert expectations.!
Division is one of my fav games... also cyberpunk and skull and bones become very good...
Tales of Symphonia was perfect on gamecube, so I dont think that it should be on the list.
Maybe No Man's Sky and Cyberpunk 2077, but i don't think every game should follow that example.
Steam version of Bloodlines still softlocked for me in the tutorial on my 1st playthrough. So, no, Vampire: Masquerade - Bloodlines never became good (as in with significantly less amount of bugs).

Fallout 76, no man's sky and cyberpunk 2077 should of been here
10 Good Games That Became Bad Eventually
This video screams "Cyberpunk 2077".
...but it's not here
I thought the last one was going to be fallout 76 or cyberpunk
Don't agree with Destiny! 😆
Triple Jump time
Where's the chapters comment?
NMS?
COD WWII
How did NMS, Cyberpunk or FO76 not end up on this list?
👽
Elder Scrolls Online is Zenimax, not Bethesda
I falsely thought this was a list of games that started poorly but later on, during their run time, improved which sounded interesting.
