I mentioned when you bought that it would need a gut / pit. New insulation, wiring, plumbing, gas lines, flooring, check all the studs and beef them up, replace rotten wood, coat the roof, new window seals. All new, I think you will regret getting such a small trailer. Even another ten feet would make a huge difference. Especially having a child, space is important. Comfort is important.

I hate to say I saw this coming, but such is the way of a first major renovation of a fibreglass trailer. Our 1975 Boler had two owners before us, and we were told "there are no leaks." Cue our first camping trip where it rained and we out that wasn't true. We gutted it, sealed and painted everything, customized what we wanted, and made it amazing. You guys have plenty more hard work ahead, but it will be worthwhile - keep it up!
And don't sweat the audio, you'll figure it out. 😊

I won't say "I told you so", but I knew this would be the eventual direction or path forward. It really was inevitable, and you may have known, maybe? Just needed some time to come to terms with it. Much respect for beginning this rather daunting task, no matter where things lead.
Sponsored: Better Help -- we all need threapy at times -- immediatly after: Levi tearing apart upper cabinets with all his might -- also therapy, lol.
Kidding aside, demolition work can be very therapeutic -- and really, as you progress on this endeavor, you will often be glad you chose to gut and build anew, newer and better and more personally tailored to your specific preferences and needs.

Here's a trick for the audio. Downmix to mono. Either set the mics to record in stereo and set your audio track in post to stereo, and listen to check if the directionality is correct. Otherwise, just record however you want and downmix to mono. It'll "configure" the audio to play on the left/right channels simultaneously with no "directionality".

You still need to research what to put under your mattress to prevent moisture buildup from the air and condensation buildup under the mattress.
Breathing and propane produce more moisture than you know, combine that with humidity and the issue multiplies hence why many switch to electric over propane, but even then when you breath out overnight you’re creating a mini weather pattern inside. You guys figure stuff out anyway. All the best.

Hi, Levi and Leah. I usually don’t comment but I needed to. I miss the good old days, when you live at that apartment. I know that your apartment took so much time to be built and that you loved it so much. So why don’t you go back? Where’s the old environment conscious channel? A truck? Why?! A trailer? Why?! This things consume so much gas. You were so Zero Waste!… Where’s that?! I think you are getting to nowhere now, I don’t feel your old purpose anymore. And that’s sad. You get things like your apartment and then you decide to take one year off, now a trailer and a truck. So why did you invested so much in that apartment where you were starting a eco-life? Just some thoughts I have as an old viewer. I don’t see any eco-conscious vibe in a family who owns a truck, sorry. Also, I’m really confused about your future plans and what they mean for the planet.

Channels change. People change. We had made all the videos we could possibly imagine about zero waste and it just wasn' something that inspired us anymore. I think you (and a lot of people) see a truck and immediately think that means that we hate the planet somehow? We bought a truck because its the best tool for the job we have ahead of us. If restoring an old trailer and the adventure that comes with it isn't your jam that's totally fair. 👍🏻

Take all this energy and direct it at any number of corporate executives who will sell out all of our futures to buy another yacht

Trucks have a purpose(food distribution etc), this one has a job too. They will stay connected to their vision of travelling without flying and be able to stay in/visit rural places without a big impact.

Leah- be careful around all this “yuck”- not good for baby. The Prius was a better deal for you. Trash this trailer and get a newer one.
