I have just bought this gun as a new beginning of my new hobby thanks to this video. These videos are so informative and so well kept non-biased and it’s so nice to hear a professional opinion with videos that are so well put together. Thank you AAR
Thanks for taking the time to do the chrono testing. Amazing consistency from both guns. I've got a .22 GX40 runing at 11.5FPE and get sixty shots in its sweet spot. Bought the GX40 because I needed a .22 for ratting, now I use it as a general purpose 'go to gun' as it is so surprisingly accurate. Not missed a beat in 5 years of heavy use.
must admit that because of the review on the GX40 I ordered one from Vector air and in the last 4 years it has never let me down, keep up the good work Andy I enjoy your weekly revues
When I got my Coyote .177 I was getting about 140 shots per fill in total with a little over 100 in the sweet spot. It was putting out 10.4ft/lbs, so I raised the power to flatten the trajectory and I'm now getting 80+ shots in the sweet spot at 11.4ft/lbs with 9.57 grain pellets. I've also done the trigger mod with a longer adjusting screw. I use it for target shooting at the local range, shooting off a bag because I have an arthritic left wrist and can't shoot offhand any more. Groups are *always* sub 5p coin sized at 30 yards. I can't recommend the Coyote/GX 250 highly enough as a budget rifle.
@@kostazyruku421 If you mean the velocity you can expect from each shot then in .177 it should be around 770 feet per second, or 11.4 foot/pounds. In .22 the power will be the same so maybe 600 feet per second.
Thanks for the video! I'm from the US and so I own a Gamo Urban which is the same as your GX-40 but having more power at 22-24 fpe. I bought it in 2018 for pesting and it has been flawless, has not leaked a pound of air, and is super accurate. IMO, these PCPs are the best bang for the buck out there...and...being built in the UK, have very good quality as well.
Just ordered the gx250 with the kit and pump from vector air due to this video, loving the content and getting started in the hobby keep up the good work I’m finding it very helpful and easy to follow
Thanks Andy. I'm still enjoying my GX40 package from VA, after taking up your recommendation and doing some homework. I can recommend the VA packages (budget permitting), the Hugo scope alone is worth the extra cost.
Just got the GX250 package and after a couple of minor issues (you’d think a Gamo pump would have the correct fittings for a Gamo rifle!), and zeroing in the Gamo scope, I’m impressed, and also discovering that an accurate air rifle will cut holes out of 10mm timber!
I just bought a gx40 from my brother in law with sights silencer bipod and gun bag all I need is a pump I paid £100 for it i would say that’s a bargain and it does still have air in so I have tested it and it shoots fine 😁
I visited vector air this morning with the idea of getting some advice and information. However, after watching this review i walked out with the vector air gx 250 kit. Unfortunately they didnt have the usual scope they supply😢...on the bright side i got a free upgrade to the same hugo you were using ..bonus😊
Very nice! I remember the GX40 video. That video gave the GX40 a very good image of itself.. and this GX250 did not fall behind. I surely would not mind having one of these GXs. Seems to be very good rifles indeed. A big Thank You to Andy and crew once again for another very good video!

I bought a GX40 as my first gun as a Vector Air package with an upgraded Vector Optics scope for both for pest control and target work. what do you think of the .22 arrow pcp by gamo, i was in a shop holding one and was impressed with weight and ballance. i have a fac hatsan striker but am needing something for inside farmers sheds so may upgrade to the arrow
So would you say the only real difference between the GX-250 and the Coyote is the stock, with the Coyote stock being weighted more for better balance when standing shooting, but a heavier rifle overall?

i cant stop watching your videos, im looking to buy an air rifle and there is sooo much choice and they all seem pretty good. The Krall NP02 or 03 was one i was considering as there are a lot of very positive reviews but i do prefer the look of the GX40 as looks more like a rifle than an extended pistol. All of them would be a good choice but if you had to choose either the GX40 or NP02 which one would you go for. The other one i was considering was the ATA Airborne as its regulated but in same price bracket and the others are not regulated.

goodmorning all!
Great video brother I like how you talked about the family gathering to make that love child and everything that was awesome but let me tell you some of it was blurry a lot of it was😮😢❤ you thwre.Andy?. 💕.. oh
.ugh, well i try back later bye! 👋🏾🎅🏿
Lowest problems of any pcp,i will have to buy one and see,i give hatsan air rifles that title of fewest problems of an pcp
Another excellent review.
Great review Andy and that looks like a very good buy. Do you think the Air Arms Pro sport is worth the extra cost over the HW97K or TX200 for target work?
what do you think of the .22 arrow pcp by gamo, i was in a shop holding one and was impressed with weight and ballance. i have a fac hatsan striker but am needing something for inside farmers sheds so may upgrade to the arrow
So would you say the only real difference between the GX-250 and the Coyote is the stock, with the Coyote stock being weighted more for better balance when standing shooting, but a heavier rifle overall?
Hi love the reviews would like your feedback on the schofield o2revolver please
Can't find this for sale in the USA.
Which is better? GX40 or Trex Remington?
Great video Andy once again.. and great shooting to.. 👍🤘👌 I haven't went to the dark side yet to get a PCP.. 😂😂😂 but this would be a great gun to start with.. thanks again.. 👌🤘👍
Where do I go buy the full kit for the Gamo GX 250? Thanks
I bought a gamo 250 based on your video, my only disappointment was I never got any aar stickers, can you send some???
Is the standard silencer that it comes with any good at all?
I would have thought a regulator would have been a better idea than a volume increase.
if i may can i ask if the SMK REMINGTON CLEANSERS can be use with the gamo gx 250 177 cal to clean the rifle i did bye this rifle because you made it sound so good { and it is i love it } thank you for your review on this rifle if you could let me know if i can use the rems i would be greatful thank you and love the channel
i cant stop watching your videos, im looking to buy an air rifle and there is sooo much choice and they all seem pretty good.
In my opinion……GX-40. Stay safe. Andy
Hi Andy, I’ve been listening and watching your videos for the last few weeks and I wondered if you would give me your opinion. I’m looking for a PCP and have been looking at the Gamos GX40, GX250, Coyote and the lower priced Snowpeaks and finally the Beeman Chief ll. what would be your advice/opinion on these guns ? Thanks.
I want one!!
Gx250 or the bsa scorpion ts which would be best for target shooting for a beginner.. Help.....
Good review
Hi, thinking seriously about purchasing a gx 40. What would you recommend is the best sight and silencer for money. Any help you would give, would be great fully appreciated. Ta!
Dean..
I just like the afordable price
How does the 250 compare to the Coyote? Look same size from memory.
Dady what was the price of gx250.?
Will it possible to import to India? And what was the price?
Have the Coyote in .22 sooo jealous of being able to have moderators.
I have a Decimeater on mine?
How is gamo gx 250 .25 caliber gun
