K02s best tire out there for my 2020 TRD OR prem. Great looks, snow performance, ice, mud and smoothness on hwy. Had this tire now three times on different tacos, would recommend!
Just installed the BFG KO2 tires 265/75/16 on my new 2021 Tacoma TRD 4X4 OFFROAD Premium Army green vehicle. Went hardcore off roading through big mud and over rocks, no rubbing and crawl like a lion through everything. Silent on the road, 400 km one way... EXCELLENT CHOICE for a stock Taco.
Thank you for this vid and confirming my next tire and size choice! The letters out look great. Retro. I’m not ready to go all overlanding modded out just yet. I still enjoy the mpg as this is my DD. 265/75/16 KO2’s on my 19’ Taco TRD Pro is the ticket to get more of an OEM+ look…for now. 😉🤙
These came on my 2012 TRD sport I bought last year in Aug, I definitely love the look of them, I'm starting to save money to get new ones in the future, that green on black looks badass by the way 👍🏼🤟🏽
I thought it was bjs in Wallingford but it isn’t. I run a rough country lift. 2 in the rear one in the front. Ko2 was my first choice but I went with coopers instead white letters out FTW. I’ll keep an eye out for ya!!
Hey man your truck looks freaking awesome! I really like that color of green!!! Can’t go wrong with KO2’s either. As long as you rotate them every 5,000 miles you’ll get the 60,000 miles out of them easily.
Got me 2021 4Runner trd OR in sept. First thing I did was ordered the Toyota heritage front grill, Method 317 wheels , and these badass ko2. My choices were these or the Falken wildpeak atw3. Glad I went w these, but I’ve nvr seen the Falken in person so… These tires are 45lb vs my stocks Bridgestone dueler h/t 39 lb. I can’t prove it but I believe my mpg had gone down a tad. It’s like riding with two bags of cement 24/7 lol. Also, the tech asked if I want the white letters facing out or in (black out). I do like the white letters out but it feels like something is sticking to the tires lmao. But that made your truck appearance 110% better dude. Cheers
Love KO"s for all around driving. Not sure why Toyota put sushi small garbage tires on these trucks. My 19.frontier I had before my 21 trd offroad came with 265/75r16. I ended up.doimg the trd bronze 17 and 275/75r17 with the trd lift.
I really like the white letters out. People poke fun at me for it but I like the look of the white letters. I get my truck dirty A LOT on the trails so keeping it clean is difficult. BUT... Still white letters out for me also. Good improvement.
I have a 21 trd pro. Looking into getting same tires with stock suspension. Any issues with Rubbing on fenders? Any suspension changes? Spacers? Thanks man.
@@michaelknightzayas9251 Toyota sells their own factory-warrantied lift kit now so I'm not sure why they'd say that. You just don't want to go too high. Their kit is 2" front/1" back.

Yes. I'm doing that on my 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4X4 OFFROAD Premium soon. Costco here in Canada don't want to install a 265/75/16 GFG KO2 on my truck.....some bs story.
@@useryggfdcc my major concern is turning the wheel while the shock is semi compressed. I don't plan to do any heavy off road driving but given what this video shows, I imagine serious clipping would happen if turning with the shock compressed. Thoughts?
@@wisdomandy9361 I was thinking about that myself. My plan is still to do it. I have some spare TRD rims for the truck. It will get a Bilstein 6112 and 5160 with an Icon AAL lift kit later this year. We will be fine.
Completely changes the look! What an improvement! The white letters adds to the look!!

I’ve been waiting to wear down the GYs that come with it, but really love the look of the KO2s.

Did you have to recalibrate the speedometer with the bigger tires?

Looks good man! Can’t believe those wheels are 16’s. I had thought the new trd pro wheels were 17’s!
Really nice look. I am interested in the same tires in that size for my Tacoma. Will that size fit for storing the spare under the truck? Thanks -

Yeah, love the look
That blueing over the white letters only takes a quick scrub.
U said the ko2 are 16Inch?
Looks great. i have a 18 Trd pro and for the price we paid it should have came with a good quality 265/75 from the factory!
Truck looks sick af!
How are these k02s tires in the highway speeds and heavy rain ?? ..
What’s your rims specs ( width)
Why in the world did u have them mounted with white letters facing outward?!
Why not?

How they holding up in snow and rain? These look like Load E tires yeah?

Great no problem
what size are they? 285/70 r 16 of course

That's clean !!! Actually accents the black wheels better!
Nice looking truck man.
Does it feel sluggish at all with the heavier tires on?
I’m due for tires come spring on my 19 voodoo pro. Def getting these

@@michaelknightzayas9251 just got them installed yesterday. Bro, they’re bad ass. I love them. The truck feels like it’s about an inch taller too.
Is that an E rated tire?
Yes
Nice video, now the you have had the KO2s for awhile , how do you like them? Is there much road noise and have you gone off road with them? tks
Also if you don’t mind me asking how much did it cost with installation
I just ordered them on discount tire for 812 for four. That’s the cheapest I could find. Also that’s without install.

Costco

16”

35psi all around on mines and the ride is very comfortable

any rubbing at all? i just ordered an SR 5 not sure about mud flaps
No rub at all

If u can put the size u got on thanks.
Where the new shoes ??
Your gonna fuck up your fox suspension by rough country spacer kit?? Are you kidding?
Not supposed to go more than 1 inch in the front on a pro. Mess up your suspension.
Returned RC spacers...I called Toyota and they told me not to do it on PRO
Just do revtec ap427 kit it's the proper kit for trd pro
